Netherlands against Argentina could be an incredibly passive match for two giants.

Lots of teams play similar, push 5 up against the defence, spread the defence out and leave a hole in the middle to drop into.

What's Murphy talking about? Any footballers could pass it between them with no pressure on them. As soon as the Aussies go forward they struggle to put passes together.

Australia look like they did against France, mostly losing it as soon as they get it. They don't have much physically in the middle.

Australia didn't look particularly good against Tunisia, and looked pretty bad against France. Even though Argentina haven't looked great I can't see them being kept out.

I don't watch it that often so it might well only be the same 2 or three presenters on rotation. But on Football Focus (plus that weird MotD3/X thing) there seems to be an endless supply of young women with sychophantic interviews pretending quite normal banter is hilarious, asking who dresses the worst etc.

I don't know if Netherlands have it under control or are just lucky, I lean towards the latter. Pulisic scores and we have 40 minutes of Keown moaning at the Dutch for being cowards who never look like scoring.

Why does Keown keep going on about "fear". The US just struggle to create, it isn't about cowardice. They are too slow but I wonder if they are trying to save something back for the second half.

I think I could use my pace to get away from Blind That Robinson dribble was such a waste in the end, USA look good until they reach the box
