  1. I could hear that on 5Live (I prefer the raio build up to TV coverage). Also I assume the one hit you are talking about is their highest charting song 'Drop Dead Gorgeous'
  2. I don't see the problem with this, yellows aren't meant to be a free foul you can deploy once per game, there should be a punishment for accumulating multiple yellows.
  3. Think USA need to score in the first half as they've looked much stronger early on in all three games. Lineups are out: For music there is this song which according to WSC is popular with the Dutch, it's also popular with pro cycling teams: Seemingly dedicated to LVG "possession focused" football: To the left To the right Once again To the left To the right

  5. The last round of games, not the first round though. Everything stuck to Embolo's feet tonight, was really useful in the second half compared to the Brazil game. Not quite sure where the drive went in the second half from Serbia, also a bit like the Brazil game where they offered nothing late on.
  6. I swear Seb and Andros are on a retainer from the Serbia FA, they rate their performance in a way I just haven't seen.
  7. If only Rodriguez could control a ball Think it was his pass to Shaqiri though
  8. Bad giveaway from Shaq. But what a game this is turning into
  9. Yeah Widmer looks more like a centre back playing out of position than right back, the way he got turned for that booking was jokes.
  10. Not sure I agree with Hutchinson that Serbia look better, it's been pretty even imo
  11. Wouldn't be a major tournament without Shaqiri scoring. Rodriguez looked awfully slow in the build up though
  12. Switzerland aren't as defensive as past sides but they do look a bit blunt against decent opposition. I'd fancy them to at least try and win it in normal time against Portugal, Serbia I'm not so sure...
  13. I will happily do some OP's with stats and so on for the knockouts. But last time Brazil played I made an effort and PMLF put up a whoscored lineup screen an hour before kickoff
  14. I would rather see Switzerland than Serbia if pressed but it's not a huge preference. Hope Embolo makes an effort unlike against Brazil
  15. That's why 2 of 4 is good, just defending can cost you. That Cavani shout clearly wasn't a pen, he just extends his leg rather than continuing running to buy contact.
  16. That was almost certainly the case for a recent post against Brett
  17. I normally like Uruguay but this side is quite boring, a shame as I love the way Valverde carries the ball, so I wouldn't mind them going out.
  18. 5live said Portugal is on BBC1, weird. I don't think the game itself will be that dirty, depends how close it gets towards the end. Hopefully there's a lot of VAR time so I can watch the end when I finish work
  19. With Japan I don't think they beat Germany and Spain many times if they play the same games again. Germany missed so many chances, Japan had that one bad miss from the rebound, a good goal and the incredible second goal in the sense that the German right back plays Asano inside, and the finish has such a small window to beat Neuer. So many things went in their favour, even more so than the close decision against Spain who created much less. They made their own luck of course but they happened to score in their windows of higher intensity and were poor against Costa Rica. They have a chance against Croatia but at times against Spain they were physically dominated and eased off the ball whenever they got possession. Tbh I thought they were pretty bad in the first half and didn't see the win coming at all. Would have been interesting to see what Spain would do if they had a real chance of going out had Germany racked up the score or Costa Rica won.
  20. We also have a tolerance on where the ball has hit the batsman under "umpire's call" which is factual
