How is Almiron?

Gakpo's deal bring up again my main problem with FM. While summer transfer windows is open, we are stuck with an 'old' game. By the time it shuts and you want to start a save with a team after the summer changes you are still stuck. The game comes out early November and then you are lucky to get a patch to 'fix' the game early December. Now the January transfer window will go nuts and we will have it's DB 5-6 weeks after it shuts. It feels to me like the game is always (at least) a month behind.

After the features reveal I was very excited about the squad planner. Playing the game in the last two weeks make me feel that it's pointless.

Ok its far fetch but I am very desperate at the moment. I’ve installed the beta about one hour ago, pressed play and went to get something to eat. I got back and saw my pc with ‘your computer restarted because of a problem’ and since then it’s been in a loop. Can’t do anything! Surely it can’t be the game?

I agree here. Or at least that's my impression from the video.

I play this game many hours every year but I don't remember any bugs fix announcements before release. But I could be very wrong here. General fixes and changes? I may be wrong here again but watching that video a couple of weeks ago gave me the impression those were the changes. I didn't finish watching it thinking 'wow this is nice, surely there is a lot more to come!'. Personally I think SI needed to move to a subscription method three years ago. You buy the game every three years and pay subscription for the DB that is being updated more frequently than today. If not a 'live' DB then at least update it every 2-3 months.

I have to say I don't understand the whole 'the game is coming out in three weeks and there is no information'. They released that video, what did you guys expect more than that?

Loved the squad planner bit. I can finally stop buying notebooks like a primary school student.
