The winter update should be the best update, Researchers and updaters have access to 6 or 7 months of data and time to have a good look at which players and teams are performing and those who arent. Team line ups should be spot on and players perfroming well irl should be doing the same in FM. There are players who havent came off the bench in the last 8 or 9 games and cant get in the team yet are top of the avg rating list at the end of a test season when they shouldnt even be in the team. This is in no way a dig at anybody giving up their free time to update for us, i really want to help get Scotland spot on for every body. I was an updater for 01/02 for 15 years or so, still am, and our winter update was the pride and joy of our work. Im really keen to help out here as well. but we need feedback from updaters to discuss things. cheers Summer updates are a shot in the dark, you have no way of knowing whichh player will have which form etc

I have ran test games and posted links to screenshots but had zero feedback or even acknowledgement. Its kinda off putting when you put the time and effort into researching and running tests and then provide feedback which is ignored.

Not really a lot of feedback in here, do these posts get seen by the updaters? Would be nice to know that our efforts are noted.

Just noticed there, Glenn Kamara has 18 Tech and 17 first touch, Now he is a decent player but no chance is he so far ahead in terms of Tech to the likes of Hatate or Jota? Jota for example has 2 less tech and 2 less first touch than Kamara? Hatate has 5 less tech and 2 less first touch than Kamara? Just one example i spotted there.

Not yet mate, I usually let it sim for a season then try take over a relegated team.

Iwata, Kobayashi, Mooy and Hatate all have Stamina that is surpassed by a lot of the lower league players in Scotland, I dont think you will be at a top club with Stamina in the single digit, or indeed barely making double figures. Esp when lower league players are higher in a lot of cases, no chance should these lower league players be anywhere near the fitness levels of top teir players. https://ibb.co/SnHP1ZX https://ibb.co/PmSNF4N Abada, Turnbull and Bernabe are regulars, Hatate started 0 games, He should be the star player in the team. Maeda started 3 games, Taylor started 7. There are 7 players in the squad qith a better first touch than Hatate, he should be right up the top of that, https://ibb.co/mSF6tBt CCV could be nudged up pace and acc, you barely see him getting done for pace.

How do the players get player traits? Are they given by updaters? or generated in game? cheers

Hello, I have downloaded the winter update, going to run some tests, Thanks for all the hard work and great to see some discussions in a forum that was dormant for a while.

Regarding Kents mentality or determination or ability to perform under pressure, abada should have the opposite of those as he has came from a foreign land at 19 or 20 and due to squad size he was flung in and did not dissapoint with his early performances/goals return. Laterly he has found himself on the fringes but that is mainly due to Maeda's form after the World Cup which has been tremendous.

Id say Kent has abilty, there is no doubt of that. He can be and has been a match winner. I would however question his mentality and he is also very inconsistent. But the boy has ability and maybe managed differently somehwere else he could thirve? Cant really compare them attribute wise either, Kent has the stepovers ect [often leading to nothing] and can go past a man, Abada is not the best attacking a full back one on one, hsi main forte is getting into goalscoring positions when the ball is on the other side of the park - attacking the back post etc. totally different types of "wingers"

Whats the best way to try to make a point when comparing one player v another? do you need to provide videos of both? Stats are good but also can be misleading. Just trying to find out how you work. Cheers

Regarding Hatate, He really is a cut above mate, A supremely gifted player who makes football look easy as the best often do. Highly Technical and i would go as far as saying he is the best Celtic midfielder i have seen since Paul McStay [ and that is some accolade ]

Thats good that feedback is being taken into account, can you tell me if things like squad status can be changed by updaters? im very happy to help out as honestly as i can with Scotland. I was an updater for 01/02 for god knows how many years as we kept that game alive, even made the hall of fame on out site lol So the more info i can have on what you can actually change and how things work re updating would be beneficial. Ive tried to get into FM a few times but never really got the bug, i think now this could be the time tho. Thanks again Beezer

Hello again, Reo really should have the highest CA/PA in scotland, the guy is a genius. Two footed, tech is off the scale, vision is tremndous as well. First touch is unreal. Enjoy him whilst he is here. He is the beating heart of the champions.

Just noticed some positions that may need removed, Kyogo hasnt played on the left of mid for Celtic, he has always played as a central striker, not sure why he has att mid left as one of his positions. Taylor and Johnston should both have decent ratings for inverted full backs as thats how they play for Celtic each week, ralston as well as he has played it a lot.

A few squad status changes for Celtic, Carl Strafelt should go from squad player to REGULAR starter. [he and ccv have never lost a game when they have both started together] Greg Taylor should go from squad player to REGULAR starter i would bump him up a bit as well as he has been tremendous this season. Reo Hatate should go from squad player to IMPORTANT player, needs a big increase, a top, top talent. Wonderful football player. Hi Steve, with Everton moving to their new stadium soon, if i play will the background stadium for them change when they move? I know it will be hard as the stadium is not finishied yet, just thought their may have been a computer generated pic of it you might have used? thanks anyway

Is there a player trait for "attacks the back post"? if so then Abada should have it added as this is how he scores most of his goals.

If there is a player with better teamwork or work rate in football i have yet to see him, Maeda is incredible. has to be the hardest worker in football. Defiantly in Scotland that is for sure. Hatates pass for kyogos second yeterday was terrific as well, most players would have hit the shot but he had a quick glance accross goal and squared it for a tap in, he really is a specal player who makes Celtic tick. Johnston as well at right back is looking like some player, has replaced Juranovic and looks better. CCV and Starfelt still unbeaten in any game they have started together, that stat alone is incredible.
