If Spain would actually try to get the ball forward you would see how exposed their back 4 are by pacey forwards. Remember their losses in competitive matches to the USA and Switzerland? If you play into a teams hands they are going to look exciting. So, another team doing what they have to do to win is fine but if Spain do the same, it's not fine? Most people would rather watch a free-flowing match with both teams trading attacking moves. Spain hypnotize you with those short masses many made just to retain possession.
