Sure it's informal and nobody would use it but technically speaking it's not incorrect to use go's instead of goes. Same way people might write can't instead of cannot. Well it's not based on WC form, is it? I think you have to let it count, because there might be an injury past the cutoff date but before the squads cannot be changed.
