DazRTaylor
End of Season Season 2023 Íþróttafélagið Hamar League Table - We were expected to steamroll the division, though this didn't happen. We dropped to third on the final day of the season to stay at this level for another season at least. League Fixtures - We started the season very slowly but recovered somewhat. Mjólkurbikarinn - Another tough draw in the second round, where we narrowly lost at home to second tier outfit ÍA, ended any potential cup run. Lengjubikarinn C - Whilst we won our group, we once again failed in the knockout stages, losing at home to eventual winners ÍH in the semi final. Pre Season Friendlies - Just the three defeats, among plenty of victories, all against higher league opponenets. Squad - The quality of getting better each year. Squad Dynamics - As good as you would expect. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - One departure, as Adolf Ingvi þorvaldsson YP22I9 declined the deal offered to him and left for KFR, who play at the same level as we do. Youth Candidates - Another superb intake, with goalkeeper Oliver Kristjánsson YP23A17 looking like the best player. Finances - We have dipped into the red as youth academy costs creep up. Key Players Ingimar H. Kjartansson YP22M13 - An exceptional first season in the team from the striker. Magnús Ingi Einarsson - Switched to the right wing after the emergence of Kjartansson, he took to his new position like a duck to water. Ingþor Björgvinsson - Approaching the twilight of his career, the midfielder was brilliant all season. Unnar Magnússon - Another stellar year at the heart of defence. Arnór Gauti Guðnason YP22E5 - Has made the second central midfield position his own. Next Season Promotion. Anything else is a failure. vikeologist
Vikeologist's 11th Folkestone Intake Report (and 7th Intake Review) After getting an instant superstar in last year’s intake, this one was bound to disappoint, but it does have a top prospect who can challenge for a first team place instantly. I probably won’t throw him though because I’m in a promotion battle. The real problem is the lack of a central defender. I have 2 decent central defenders in my entire squad, and they’re probably both full backs really. One of them is 33 now. It already is a problem when one of them is suspended or injured. Thankfully that doesn’t happen a lot. Looks like my U18 team will have 8 goalkeepers and 2 central defenders for the next year. 1 central defender for matches where they have to actually be under 18. Giorgos Kragiopoulos 11a – I have quite a lot of central midfielders, but Giorgos has decent CA. As I say, I’ll be happy to give him a spin next season. I’ll have to hope my squad can correct his unambitious personality. My squad, thanks to fines, is very determined, but hopefully there’s a strong seam of professionalism underneath there still. Struan Drever 11b – Yet another goalkeeper. I can’t get anyone to take my goalies on loan, so it’s pretty hard to develop them. Here are my goalkeepers. As you can see, the 2 with least potential are my best 2. I’m going to have to make a decision on Henry Newcombe at some point, and whether to jump over Solly 1e who has played well when started. If that potential is accurate though, he’s not going to ever realise his original potential. However, the 2 of them according to my spreadsheet are still very much the best 2 goalies, and throwing anyone else in would be a short term disadvantage. Jenson Couldridge 11c – He doesn’t fit into my formation. I guess that I can try retraining him as a left winger, although there are 2 other left wingers in this intake I’m tagging, one of whom is apparently better at the moment. Tbh, he’s too slow. YP7 Review Max Bodkin 7a – Supposedly my 2nd best striker, behind superstar Ellis Drake, and I went into this season with him as a starter, but he just didn’t produce the goals. He’s got a fair amount of match time this season but is only averaging a goal every 326 minutes. I know that’s not representative, but with his competition banging them in, it’s a killer stat. Joslen Anslem 7b – Was too short to be a defender, so I trained him to be a central midfielder, but despite still having a high PA, his CA is low. He wanted to go on loan, but no one wanted him, so he’s in a huff and will almost certainly leave at the end of the season. Tony Haslam 7c – A striker that I dabbled with retraining as a central defender, but he has 1 and 2 for tackling and marking respectively. Probably a good striker, but not being used. Max McPhillips 7d – Another striker. Nominally 4 on the depth chart now, but again, not really being used.
UnkleTass
Blog Post Season number four and we made the playoffs. Score one for the team, but we got our asses spanked in the first round so no promotion for the team. The team is a lot more settled now and the youth have started playing more important roles in the team which is really helpful. One thing I have experimented with this season is my forcing my centre back prospects to play full back, as I was struggling to get them game time otherwise. Worked a treat as the best prospect from the first intake is now ready to start at centre back next year. Pelz
@thomas_e- As fate would have it I too have ended up in Italy! Spent around three hours last night umming and ahhing about which league to commit; got to the point where I just threw 20 nations in my Pittsburgh Steelers hat and let the Gods decide Managed to sim through to 5th June and save then had a couple of runs to the 30th just to see what sort of teams were possible. Your Rimini side popped up once but one constant was Siena.. I almost took control but one niggly little thing put me off - their league history graph. Siena have no 20/21 history (19/20 was their last) whereas all other teams you could clearly see had been promoted from Serie D.. is this the same in your save also? Reloaded three times and this happened each time. Have checked through DB and they’re definitely in Serie D, just unsure as to why they don’t have any record of last season at all.

thomas_e
@Pelz, here is how you can see promoted teams. Go to "Season Summary" page for Italy, as showed here (top left corner of the photo): Scroll down to Serie D and look at the Promoted teams. You can pick any of these teams. I think Siena is one of the teams you can pick. But I believe they have a very old squad, which is a possible minefield on this challenge.
Pelz
Thanks again for the help @thomas_e Will update with my team, progress etc in due course though typically will only get to play for a couple hours in the evenings so may be a little slow with the material Good luck in your second season!!

DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2033/34 SV Babberich League Table - An excellent season, which after the struggles of last year, I was not expecting. League Fixtures 1 & 2 - We had two long unbeaten spells and one run of five games without a win. TOTO KNVB Beker - We made it through to the first round proper before being humiliated at home by top flight FC Twente. Pre Season Friendlies - Six games, where we won four and lost two. Squad - We continue to improve, albeit slowly. Squad Dynamics - Very good, as usual. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out - None. Youth Candidates - Another strong intake with Turkish winger Onur Evren YP34I201 looking to be the find of this group. Finances - We had made a small profit before the takeover though were still heavily in the red. The new board restructured the debt and the balance is back in the black. Key Players Olivier van Brakel YP23B18 - The goalkeeper continues to get better year on year. Angelo Richard YP27C83 - A stellar campaign from our best defender. Raymond de Vries YP30G135 - A good season from the left wing, though he now has serious competition from newly arrived Onur Evren YP34I201. Jeroen Seedorf YP28D100 - Playing on the right wing, he was my player of the season. Tjeu Voigt YP31C147 - Enjoying his first season as the teams main striker, he repaid my faith by scoring 18 goals in 34 appearances. Next Season I don't feel we are strong enough to survive in the league above just yet, so a top three finish will be the aim. JLAB
ACN Siena 1904, commonly referred to as Siena, is an Italian football club based in Siena, Tuscany. The club was re-incorporated in 2020 after the bankruptcy of the previous legal person Robur Siena, which itself was the reincarnation of the original club Associazione Calcio Siena S.p.A. re-incorporated in 2014. A.C. Siena's predecessor was founded in 1904. Let's just say that Siena have not enjoyed the 2010s too much.
Popular Post Steveh171
Taranto 29/30 Season Review A season that promised so much but we ultimately got nothing out of in the end. We managed to finish 1 place higher in 8th place. It was an extremely close season and one of fine margins with the gap between 1st place and 8th place being 8 points. We went on quite a drawing streak after we burst out of the starting blocks, so we really could of got automatic promotion this year if we had lady luck on our side. Again I can't help but feel we conceded far too many goals to stand a chance of going up. If we can get reduce our goals against to below 1 per game then we should stand a chance, so I'll be tweaking my tactic again before the start of next season. We went into the mix of the play offs, beating Bari in the first game but then falling to eventual play off winners Empoli over 2 legs. It really was a league of anyone who could beat anyone this year which did make it extremely exciting! In terms of youth intake it was my poorest yet overall in terms of personalities, but the two highest rated players certainly look like prospects. Mariani looks great and can play in 2 problem postitions for me, CM(D) or right back! Perfectionist personality too so i hope it doesn't disappear like it has done on some many of my other players. Pietro Vincenzo is the other. Could be a fairly decent all round midfielder. So for next season, i'm hoping we can push again for promotion. I have a few teams sniffing around some of my best players, and they're starting to become unsettled. My worry is if these guys leave I don't really have the youth coming through to displace them easily in the team. It could easily set me back 3-4 seasons from getting into Serie A. I actually accepted an 8.5M bid for my best midfielder but he rejected Genoa. He still won't sign a new contract stating overall squad level doesn't match his ambition, but I have 2 years left on him so I'll have to worry about shifting him next season. I've also now got my Continental B badge! No changes to youth recruitment / junior coaching as there maxed and no players sold to fund any upgrades of out good training facilities and below average youth academy. VooDooYouDo
Another season down in Belem. We needed a win, or draw, for a European spot and well, business as usual in losing our final league match and poor end of season form. Still though, a SIGNIFICANT improvement over last season where we finished 11th with a -17 GD, so real yo-yo from season to season. We finished 1 point and 1 league place off our best finish Probably a good thing that we missed out on European football, as we still have poor defenders and the 3rd and 4th best CDs and backup fullbacks are well off the starters so I'm not sure we can afford to be in so many competitions next season without sacrificing one of them. Losing Fiel at the end of the season, but he didn't score too many this year. Perhaps his heart wasn't in it anymore. 2 players in the running for young player of the season (Renato won) Intake Preview The Intake
Sn00gle
This is hilariuos my Chairman doesn't want to improve anything even if we have over 500k pounds in cash saying we have no money... second poor intake and 0 improvement in 2 seasons... and even maybe relegation
TheWillsy
Hi guys, does anyone know the reload date to use in france in order to get different promoted teams appearing? I'm looking to start the challenge and I've been reloading for the 20th June but keep getting the same 4 teams. Thanks!
DrPoods
I’m trying to get the side I want to do the Global (Less England) Small to Big Challenge. But it seems rather quiet in there by comparison. The only problem if I want to do it here is that the save has “add players to playable teams” ticked which would appear to be out of bounds according to the OP. Should I just start a new save then? Also, for a side that finished runners up in the Brazilian Serie A in 2000 and 2001 and runners up in the Libertadores in 2002, São Caetano are VERY hard to get! Unless I have missed them somehow... I suppose I could try another save but doubling up usually just leads to nothing getting done. Any thoughts?

thomas_e
Well, well, well, look who is in big trouble! Our first choice GK, 39 year old Francesco Scotti, decided to retire. On one day's notice! He no longer wants to play football, but instead be a very poor goalkeeping coach. So we will enter next season with Emanuele Manca in goal. 15 years old, 182cm tall, 3 in determination and pretty poor attributes. How exciting!

They let me say and I won last match before season break. At last Stachowiak might turn into nice Forward what you think? Or better save him on Right Wing? Yes, you have to time it right. Always check the projections. If you get a cash windfall, check them again. Then ask.

Armeniar
What a week it's been for this kid! He just turned 16 which means he could play & I immediately dropped him in the team as our best CB was suspended. The worst thing was I saw the bids and thought no chance they'd be accepted when i was rejecting 2-3M for one of my midfielders. At the end of the day its not the worst, my back up 18 YO just played a 7.8 and kept a clean sheet so it seems like its business as usual for us! Just frustrating as he was genuinely Serie A level. weepube
ACS Kids Tâmpa Braşov - Season 2025/26 League / Relegation League - A fantastic first season in the top flight predicted to finish rock bottom we managed to stay well away from relegation and made ourselves one of the best of the rest. With the league split we half our points into the relegation group which made it a little more interesting instead of having a 14 point buffer from the bottom four we had a 7 point gap but our ability to pick up points against bottom half teams meant we were never really in danger finishing 2nd overall in the relegation group dropping one place overall a healthy 10 points out of the relegation playoff places and 13 points off automatic relegation. Going into next season I may have a play around with my formation have used a 42DM31 formation since the start but feel it has its limits going forward, Against teams around us its pretty solid but the top teams it struggles and we are left facing 20+ shots a game I'm looking at a 343 which has started well going into next season although its very leaky and seems to be a very we will score more than you tactic with a few 4-2 results already. Cupa Romaniei - Still not doing very well in this competition manged one win but knocked out in the fifth round this time. Youth Intake - Cristian Balan YP26A Daniel Dumitrescu YP26B and Raul Dican YP26C Marian Voiculet YP22F - Won Romanian Liga I Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Named in the team of the year and finished as the Liga I top goalscorer last season smashing the leagues record with 31 goals also finished with the most assists (9) and highest AvRating (7.32) at the club. Wants to move to a bigger club although no interest in him i feel he may leave on a free but have 2 years to pursued him or sell him on for big money Finances looked bleak being 500K in the red but after the new season started the league signed a new tv deal and we got a new main sponsor which has put us back in the profit with a f ew player sales hopefully we can stay that way and maybe invest in the facilities a little more Other Screenshot Squad - Tactic - League Schedule 2- Relegation Playoff Schedule - Transfers - Finances - Best 11 - The Accolades 2 - Commercial - Overall Best 11

Gbrexiton
Season 4 Energie Cottbus Season Review ~ 2024/25 WOW! Promotion to the Bundesliga at the first attempt was not expected. This is probably my best ever achievement on Football Manager. I was always envious of the people that would far exceed the media predictions. This is the first time that I did just that! Anyways, before the season had started, I was hoping just to stay up. It took us until the final day to secure automatic promotion; a win against Jahn Regensburg was enough. The final day was nerve racking to say the least; we had the chance of missing out on the playoffs entirely if results didn’t go our way. A 3rd place finish would mean a 2 legged playoff against Hertha Berlin. Hertha Berlin had a media prediction of 6th, and they comfortably dispatched Heidenheim 4-0 over the 2 legs. Well, how did we do it? I’m not entirely sure! Most years, our points tally would not have been enough for the playoffs, let alone automatic promotion. However, we were quite clinical, defensively strong, and we didn’t concede late goals. But I’m very concerned with next season. Many of our starters are considered to be on a regional division level (4th tier, unprofessional). Nils Stettin is rated as a regional division player, but he was top scorer with 23 goals! He is even rated at 1.4m. Youth players Jens Pägelow 01b and Frank Jacobs 01e are the only players good enough for Bundesliga football. My only hope is the team cohesion and morale. A great intake to top off an amazing season! Robert Rogic 04a would get plenty of game time if only he was only enough to meet the requirements. Nihad Hadzisulejmanovic 04b is a good player too, but he is in a position we are well stocked in. I think the intake is down to upgrades in youth recruitment/junior coaching and higher rep in Bundesliga 2. It will be exciting to see what the next intake brings! Good News Bad News Expectations for next Season Survival? I’m not entirely sure how realistic that is. I was surprised with my performance in Bundesliga 2, so maybe my luck will continue? I’m hoping for 34 points, 1 PPG, and survival.
