But it's the OTF of a Football Manager forum that has 376k members. Of course there's going to be discussions of all kinds.

If you look at the sizes of the threads in this particular sub-forum it's actually weirder to discuss Football Manager than it is any kind of politics or world event.

I’m not saying it’s weird, I’m saying there could be a perception that it’s weird

That a massive busy forum has an off topic section?

That a forum for people that play a football management game having a politics thread could be perceived as a strange place for it, I’m not saying it’s weird but you can understand there could be a perception that it’s weird from people that are not involved

I spent most of the day hoovering, only saw the part where they were sat down singing and when they drove on horse ****. You would really think someone would clear that up for the queen to ride pass ffs.  No idea whats suppose to happen now? Seem to to be driving down a long road to somewhere without the rest of the family?

They are going to St George's Chapel in Windsor to bury her.

No, you're just in the camp of 'people are different'/'it's just my opinion' - i.e the group that feel they never need to justify the nonsense that they say and can just use those phrases as a get out.

But i have no issue with people who have been camping to view the coffin going past. My Point was everyone will find something weird doesn't mean they are right or wrong or anything

Yes, and my point is that you use this idea to legitimise not having to justify or defend the actions, views and behaviours of others that are being called out. Like that person that said seeing the queens coffin was the best thing she's done when she's got two kids rightfully got called out for saying it, just saying 'well, people are different aren't they' isn't adding anything to the conversation and just seeks to circumvent any valid criticism.

Everyone is online so much I don't think "lol messageboards are weird" holds much water anymore. This place is normal compared to a lot of mainstream places.

I dunno, there are times where in real life conversation I'm embarrassed to admit I've read/seen something on here.

Like I would just say "the internet" rather than anything indicating an FM message board.

A lot of people now probably think it's quaint in the same way as using a phonebook.

You know it was the horses marching in front of the procession that did the mess, right? That they can exactly have people running between the gaps cleaning it up?

Inadvertedly saw the procession. This has been an odd day.

Who on the forum saw you then? For you to admit this much? When they come in and mention you wavng a Union Flag, will you claim to just have been holding it for somebody else?

Did you not see the buses scuttle by on the M4 when she was on the A road through Chiswick, rewind it there were loads

Nope, didn't notice that bit, will rewatch. But I specifically meant all the marchers rather than guests.

Though I think Lurch could have just carried on walking and his stride length would get him there in time.

Hah. No, mother-in-law is a bit dippy, went to park and she's got lost at some cafe, ended up walking around Hyde Park to find her, got stuck in the crowd of people and just gave up and had to stand till it dispersed. So if I was saw, I was the grouchy looking one with a green coat on, leaning on a buggy.
