I think she's be a bit annoyed that there was no footy at the weekend...bet she was a Chelsea fan. Maybe some of you believe she's up there lookimng down on us. Possibly saying, can't you put a bloody film on instead of all this talk about me, and ain't Boris a buffon. Not too soon to have a bit of a laugh about it, is it? Weezer
I agree with the people that say there are more important things than football, of course there is. But I don’t understand what us people that aren’t wringing our hands and blubbing into our commemorative Jubilee mugs are expected to do for the next two weeks with events being cancelled left, right and centre? I’m still supposed to go to work as normal but then what, sit at home mourning until they say it’s okay to be happy again? Is there a guide for what activities are disrespectful and which aren’t? av3ry
Bit annoying football is off but I only lost £26, which I will save on having less pints and train travel anyway. Annoying but ah well. If I was in charge of the football, I'd have played as a mark of respect. I think it is more disrespectful to not play really. I think the Rugby is still going ahead so if you have BT Sport you can watch Exeter Chiefs vs Leicester Tigers for this weekend's sport fix. Huddersfield Giants vs Salford Red Devils is on Channel 4 at 1pm too if League is more your thing.

anagain
Witchell does have an iritating way of speaking. The fuss and blanket coverage with all enjoyment cancelled is for the benefit of the flag waving monarchists who are the same odd balls who attend funerals of people they don't know. The Royal Family only comply with it to show that there is a reason for them, and we wouldn't manage without and to maintain their lifestyle at our expense.
