GunmaN1905
I can't get over Saudi's defense pushing up to 45 meters from their goal in 100th minute, just ridiculous. Not even top European teams would do that while defending a lead in stoppage time. Shows that coach is still the most important person on every team. TalkSport
Definition of two half’s that. First half, Argentina getting through with ease, should’ve had a few. 2nd half, Saudis tempo and aggression amazing, Argentina non existent.

People look down on Asian teams because everyone except Korea and maybe Japan has done nothing over the past decade. Absolutely nothing. Astafjevs
I would agree but it seems to depend if they get out the group. A lot are downgrading Senegal beating France because Senegal made the QFs and had players move elsewhere. deltablue
One thing I am glad I am not missing out on is Gunny making a fool of himself, since I think that's pretty much become a tradition for international tournaments on these forums. Rob1981
I'd still have Senegal v France as the biggest upset probably. Reigning World and European champions against a team that had never ever qualified before. Plus it was the opening game. Today would be top five though probably, maybe with Senegal/France, Argies/Cameroon and Italy/North Korea. Not sure what else, maybe USA/England.
Haguey
Can imagine a few of those Saudi players will be looked at by teams in Europe. Or is there still a ban on them signing for foreign teams like the CM 01-02 days
