A draw keeps them in it I guess, but Belgium have to get a win from somewhere here.

The Opta supercomputer predicts Belgium as the most likely winners of this match, with Domenico Tedesco's side winning 62.8% of pre-match simulations against Romania. Belgium have failed to score with any of their last 47 shots in major international tournaments.

Romania were impressive in their opening game, but surely this is where Belgium (and Lukaku) get up and running. Surely?!

I reckon that Belgium will win 3-1, and all their players will look like Mr Darcy at full-time again. :D

Final MD2 permutations incoming.  Nothing much that can be decided tonight.

Romania qualify with a win but won't be assured of a top-two finish... because you could still have three teams all finishing on six points.  And Belgium aren't out if they lose, even though they would still be on zero points after two games.  Worst case they could still go and beat Ukraine and hope that three points and a resonable goal difference gets them through.  Or, the group could finish 9-3-3-3 on points.  So Belgium might even be able to scrape through as the group runner-up still despite losing twice. 

A Belgium win tonight means everyone is dead level going into the final game.  Then it would still possible for all four teams to finish on four points if both MD3 games are draws... in which case someone would get to four points but still go home.

And a draw here doesn't change much within Group E itself, but it is probably beneficial for other teams elsewhere.  This makes it a little more likely that the third place team here ends up with a lower points total.

Realistically, as long as you don't lose by more than two goals, I think you're in a good position before final matchday.

Would be guaranteed to advance with a draw against Slovakia.

Weird to have this thing with Adidas. I know Castore had that issue, and it made the kit feel uncomfortable with all that sweat.
