  2. I've neglected updates because I've been motoring along in my save. Still with Radcliffe and still in the Vanarama South but just wanted to share this horrendous news I got after my last match. My main striker, Liam Davidson, out for 6 months with a broken ankle. Currently on 14 goals in 9 games as we sit 3rd. Absolute heart breaker.
  3. I'm assuming this is a bug. I'm managing Radcliffe in the VNN and narrowly avoided relegation in my 2nd season. I've just been offered an interview for the Bournemouth job, who have just been relegated from the Prem, and am listed as their top candidate? Can't believe this would ever happen in reality.
  4. There won't be a repeat of our FA Cup run this season as we've been booted out at home by Nantwich. 3.41 xG to 1.19 and we lose, very hard to take. Tbf I shouldn't feel too hard done by as it took a 90th min leveller to take it to ET.
  5. Radcliffe Season 23/24 Finances | Transfers | Squad Part 1 | Squad Part 2 League Table We started the season quite well and were flirting with the playoffs up until about January when the inevitable fitness issues started, coupled with injuries that left a few key players out for weeks at a time, meant that we went from beating teams in and around us, to losing to the teams above and drawing with the teams below. I can't imagine next season will be any better as the majority of key players in our squad are the wrong side of 30 and the new blood are far too raw to play at any level of consistency. Hopefully there's a few gems that can be unearthed and help keep our heads above water. FA Cup - We had a dream run in the FA Cup which is the entire reason our finances are still in the black. Going to Oldham Athletic and Crewe and picking up wins happened during the time when we were also dreaming of making the play-offs. Unfortunately, a trip to Fratton Park proved a step too far but the money that came from the near 9k crowd definitely softened the blow. FA Trophy - We had a pretty decent run in this competition too, but as I was prioritising the League and using this competition to try out different line-ups and formations then success was never really on the cards. Youth Intake A lot of potential from our first intake of the career. No standouts in terms of CA but a lot stuff to be worked with. Luckily we were given a high potential keeper as I had to release mine after he threatened to go to the press when I rejected his demands for a new, improved contract. The standouts: Liam Davidson - We are not light for strikers in the squad, but given his finishing is pretty poor and his lightening quick for this level, I may retrain him as a right winger. Oliver Evans - A centre-back was something we definitely needed and this guy looks the business. Excellent bravery and good positioning and tackling for this level with a lovely amount of pace too. Hoping he can form the backbone of my squad for years to come. Lee Grant - Another striker who I'll be using as a winger. An out and out dribbler who'll excite the fans, will need to work on the crossing. Next Season I've managed to keep the majority of my squad with only Lamar Reynolds saying he doesn't want to renew, which is a shame as he is my best player. Hopefully Liam Davidson will take his place and we won't miss him too much. I'll be looking to consolidate again next season and just remain in the league, with any luck we'll get another glorious cup run but I won't be expecting it.
  6. The dream ends at Fratton Park. A lovely little windfall from the gate receipts though!
  7. The FA Cup train keeps rolling! Now we've kicked Crewe Alexandra to the side, Portsmouth next up!
  8. It's not going too badly at the moment! Sitting pretty in mid-table in the league and claimed a big scalp in the 4th Qual Round of the FA Cup.
  9. Gonna give this my yearly go and try and keep up with it before inevitably becoming too busy. Wish me luck!
  10. I'm not too sure how I'd record a video of it as it's very sporadic but I'll give it a go.
  11. Hi, I freed up some RAM and this seemed to work. However, at random moments while playing the game the screen flickers from the game to my desktop image. Any idea why this might be? Cheers.
  12. Thanks a lot. I freed up some RAM and that seems to have done the trick!
  13. I've just purchased FM23 through Steam on my MacBook Pro. I'm running OS 12 and have the M1 chip. When I launch the game through Steam the icon appears in my dock but the game doesn't physically launch. It says 'running' in Steam but then after a few minutes the 23 icon disappears and I've the option to 'Launch' again. Any ideas why this might be?

  15. Hi @XaW, I've downloaded the game to my MacBook Pro and mine just won't load either. The 23 icon appears at the bottom but the game doesn't launch. I'm on MacOS 12 and using an M1 chip. Any ideas?
