  1. <!--VICE-CAPTAIN--> <container class="contrast_box" red_replacement="bg lighter"> <attachment_group class="vertical_arrange" vertical_alignment="top,extend" vertical_offset="0" vertical_gap="0" horizontal_alignment="horizontal" horizontal_inset="0" /> <widget class="label" colour="title" alignment="centre_x,bottom" auto_size="vertical" font="label"> <translation id="text" translation_id="258291" type="use" value="Vice-Captain[COMMENT: heading; team_information_panel; club/nation vice-captain]" /> </widget> <!--VICE CAPTAIN PICTURE--> <widget class="object_portrait_picture" id="ppic" height="50" width="50"> <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="left" inset="0" /> <boolean id="scale_picture" value="true"/> <boolean id="keep_aspect_ratio" value="true"/> <flags id="image_alignment" value="centre"/> <record id="object_property"> <integer id="get_property" value="TVca"/> </record> </widget> <widget class="person_button" alignment="centre" auto_size="vertical"> <record id="object_property" get_property="TVca"/> </widget> </container> For instance... Find the code for the info you are after. For Vice Captain it is TVca, for Captain it is TCap, for Key Player it is TKpL" etc The layout of code for the "object_portrait_picture" widget I have posted above will show faces based on the ID you put here: <integer id="get_property" value="TVca"/> (for example)
  2. Thanks for the info guys. @alian62 Unfortunately, for me, deleting this folder resulted in a CTD on startup. Need to test more with individual files I think. @snowofman Have had a play around with “intro panel”. I may be wrong but it seems the panel only controls what happens after the loading screen. I have already fairly heavily edited this panel, but as a test, I removed the whole block at the bottom of the panel. All that happened was the panel loaded very quickly when the loading screen had finished. Which makes sense to me as the majority of that last block on the “intro panel” is animation directions. I need to look at it more thoroughly. The “start up splash panel” when edited to show a background overlay didn’t do anything, so not sure that panel is connected to the loading screen either. Even though it makes sense that it should. I’m probably doing something wrong but … Hmmm.
  3. Haha. Yeah. You’re right. I only play home matches as a football manager. Away matches just happen by magic …
  4. Hmm. Splash. Yeah, I’ve seen that somewhere. Will have another look at it. Thanks.
  5. Does anybody know what panels/files control this screen? It's the one on start up that, for me, has half a team in a line holding hands on a floodlit pitch, all wearing purple. The screen has some mild sway animation, some overlays on the left and right, and the FM logo bottom left with a rotating "loading" widget in multiple languages bottom right. I've found "some" of the graphics for this screen, but not all, and no panel I look at seems to corrispond to what I'm seeing. When i boot up the game, due to the vast amount of graphics I use, presumably, I can sit on this screen for a good few minutes. Would like to customise it if possible, but can't seem to locate anything definitive. Is it unskinable? Thanks.
  6. Uh, you don’t. I’m using two of the default tactics given by the game (first FM I’ve ever done this - and I’m a dinosaur). A couple of tweaks here and there and my teams are all performing above expectations. By a lot.
  7. Ha. I honestly wasn't looking for gratitude but thanks anyway Genuinely happy this panel is getting some love by all. Everyone has taken it way further than I have. It's a joy to see.
  8. Nice to see everyone playing around with the team squad panel 😁 Always maintained it should have more club information on it.
  9. I’ve got 3 tactics currently. A high block gegenpress, a low block fluid counter and I also train a tactic designed to see out games, time wasting, play for set pieces etc. I will always train these 3 styles and switch between them depending on opposition and situation. Works well for me as I don’t trust myself to make changes on the fly. I’ll forget something.
  10. I may be wrong but I believe that’s by game design. You’ll only see weather up to a few days (a week?) in advance and when the game is over the information isn’t stored.
  11. Signed him for Leicester as soon as he turned 18. Played him RW as an IF(a) in a 433. He kicked **** immediately and never looked back. Won the league his 2nd season (I had a team of elite (ELITE) wonderkids that had finally matured). He was arguably my most important player that season. I quit that save after winning the league.
  12. Ha. I was thinking the same thing with the formation format. Otherwise that’s a seriously offensive tactic! 2nd slowing the tempo down.
  13. You’ve answered your own question really. If you’re not prepared to adapt to the match (defend the lead) with your tactic then what you’re seeing is likely to happen. If you’re only scoring 2 goals or less, it’s the same thing. Your tactic can be changed, tweaked, enhanced. It’s not the ME’s fault.
  14. Here is an example config file. Just change the numbers to represent the ones you want. Put this config into a folder that has the images. Call the folder "faces", or whatever you want (as above) Put it in documents/si/fm23/graphics Create a "graphics" folder if you don't already have one. Remember to untick use caching in preferences, clear the cache (icon bottom left in preferences) then reload the skin. config.xml
  15. If you follow the instructions for any of the face packs you can download it’ll show you, but yes, create a new folder called anything really, faces i guess, and put it in the graphics folder.
  16. You can download individual images from sortitout. Type in the name or ID of the player you want and there will most likely be a cut out image of the player. To get an idea of how configs work (your new folder of images will need a config file) and where to put your collection of images, I’d suggest downloading a smaller pack and copying the config from it. Then edit the config (delete all lines of code you don’t need) to be suitable for your own collection of images.
  17. What block are you planning on playing? What intensity of pressing? What mentality? As a pure guess I’d go for a straight defend duty for the LCB and RCB, and depending on the answers above I’d have a play around with the CCB until I was happy. But this is all guess work as we have no idea what your plan is. Having 2 CDM’s on support might create too much space in front of your CB’s so a stopper could work. Having two WB’s on attack will definitely create a lot of space behind them, so your LCB and RCB should be aware of this. What roles are the two CDM’s? Without knowing the overall make up of the style you’re going for it is hard to say with any certainty. It’s hard to say with certainty anyway 😁
  18. If the folder isn’t in your skins folder the game will be using the default. You’ll need to extract the sitoolskit folder I believe. The folders you want (graphics/buttons/custom/picker/table/starting) will be in there. Copy the folder (files) you need and put in the skin folder. You can then edit/change/play around with the default files.
  19. I may be wrong but I think he just wanted player faces on all the views. Add: <record id="port" /><!-- player pic --> wherever you want the faces to appear. Normally after player info and before person name. Do this for ALL the views you want faces on in team/team squad.
  20. I see all of this when I play a high block, high pressing, high intensity tactic. I see it a lot less with other ideas …
  21. How many clear cut chances are you creating? Try turning down your mentality one notch. Or add work ball into box. There are lots of things to tweak to remedy your specific situation.
  22. Thank you for responding Neil. Not the answer I was hoping for but appreciate the communication.
  23. Can someone from SI clarify if youth development and the AI’s issue with not picking young players anywhere near often enough, who are clearly good enough, for the first team AND national teams, is being looked at for the next update please?
