    I'm looking forward to it les excited than I was as when was in my teens/twenties, back then I watched a lot of football and knew loads of players, nationalities, dob, etc. from European club football nowadays it's less cause of the excessive number of matches/leagues/championships on tv add to that the fact the international football championships have an extended format, more teams qualifying, loads of group matches etc. guess at some point/age I reached some kind of saturation

    Lukaku? Seriously? He only played 45mins and was lacking match fitness cause he didn't play for quite some time.

    maybe they should do a ball for each team or simply have a ball girl/boy/... to get the ball there's always some time before the next reaches the spot

    guess they do that to avoid any discussions afterwards, and to say it was down to the coin toss instead of predetermining the order in advance? gotto have the (illusion of) randomness I suppose

    indeed, similar to the upheavel and garbage post Euros penalties I sure hope they follow up on this and will investigate seriously to send a clear message to those who send this garbage

    shame they lost to Portugal in the playoff 1st round we were developing the squad, national league could use a boost as well hope this doesn't mean we'll stay behind for next tournament(s)

    hmm what happens if a goalie gets sent off during the penalties then? one of the players gets in and one less penalty taker for the opposition? can still sub a player out for a goalie?

    sadly we didn't qualify for that one will probably be watching it, amount of games depending on match times / time difference

    not too sure if Deschamps would be able to actually drop Lloris, after all the years they have together at the national team easier said than done which is why it's best after some time to part with a head coach/manager
