1.) Dynamic potential. I hate the fact that you can predict a player's career without any external tools, even when he is only 16y old. When you know that his potential is low, and it is fixed, there is no point in giving him playing time if you already know there is no chance for him to become good. Yes, I fully agree with this. If I am not wrong, they put 0 when they are not sure, but that can completely ruin a player in some saves. Not just determination, any attribute set to 0. I think when they are not sure ( if that is the reason why they put 0 ) they should do a range, for example, they set Determination for Barco to be in a range from 12 to 20 in the editor

I have no idea what is the purpose of this post. SI should create a game with months where managers can't be sacked? They should perfectly recreate reality? When you create a new save, so many things can go wrong for every manager. When you create a new save game, and when you click "continue" for the first time, every connection with the real world is gone. Everything will be different and nothing has to be 100% realistic. It is a game. And it should be different.

What I don't get about these complaints is - You know the state of gaming in general. You know that developers/publishers will release games with tons of bugs or unfinished games. You know in the case of this game, it will always be released with tons of bugs, with minimum improvements, and you still pre-order the game. Wait, wait until is fully patched, and then buy it or skip the year if you see it's not good. That will hopefully teach them to put more work into their game. Here on the forum, you create such hype before the release, "will it be released tomorrow?!" "I hope this week!" "I hope it will be until 6:15!" "I hope it will be this weekend!", 3 months before it is even released there is always a topic "guys who are you going to manage in FM 202X???" . You are counting the minutes until the game is released and then you get disappointed. When will you learn, you are the reason they are comfortable with releasing unfinished games because you can't wait and you rush to give them money.

I am not really sure what to think anymore. I didn't buy FM 2022 and FM 2023 because of the lack of improvements and now I can't buy FM 2024 because I see many people here complaining about this game-breaking issue. I am also probably not the only one, so this is really bad. I hope they will fix this because I want to buy FM 24 because it is the last of its kind; but all the key issues must be resolved. This one especially, I don't want to play babysitter simulator.

Well, if you can filter those players on one screen like on my screenshot, you can do it 1. Filter players and select them all by holding shift 2. When you select all players, click on this edit button 3. That will open the mass edit screen

Nope, the folder should not be in the graphics folder, it should be on its own ( in root My Documents > FM 2024 folder to say so, alongside skins and other folders ) Did you change the format to DDS? Because the image in my post is in PNG I will upload the DDS file, try that, clear the cache and all that. But maybe it is impossible in this year's version match_background.dds

Wow, this one is the worst one yet, they managed to outdo themselves I don't know if this works in FM 24 but you can put any image behind the pitch so it is not just one color. In My Documents, create a folder called "textures", and put any image there but in DDS format. And name it match_background.dds You can take any JPG image you like and convert it to DSS ( it is important because if you use PNG or JPG the game will stutter ). I've put this image of grass and stadium stands, it is still ugly but at least it is not the void It looks like this in the game, FM 21

I didn't mean a change in terms of functionality. I meant in terms of how it looks. Why do you mean people who make skins are adding for example grass texture to the field or why they are adding player images next to play position icons. Because it is starting to be monotone. As far as I know, that only works for Lenovo laptops, and it is an app from the Microsoft Store, I don't own one, but I guess if you have a Lenovo laptop you can find that app by searching "Vantage" in the taskbar search, and from some guy screenshot, it is here

Wow, that is strange. I have zero knowledge about this but after some Google-ing, I've found an article with a similar problem, and this is the answer: "I had the same problem and it was the network boost in the Lenovo vantage. I just turned mine off and no problem."

I am not sure if I understand you correctly - but are you saying that the player can have the description "wonderkid" even at the age of 22/23? If so, I think that is not correct, player can't be a wonderkid if he is older than 20, so after he turns 21 he can't be labeled as wonderkid anymore But I may be wrong

I did something similar with Sassuolo in FM 2015, but unfortunately, it was long ago and I lost a picture of the table at the end of the season. I had 37-1-0 But I have a screenshot of my fixtures/schedule And it was all done with almost all-Italian squad, no regens, all real players

Even though I care about graphics, I don't need them to be anything special. ( of course, it needs to look much better than it is now, but that is not hard since the game is ugly ) I think the most important thing that needs to be spot on is lighting. When they ruined lighting in 2018, the game looks started going backward. The atmosphere is important for me because I want to see the difference when I play in Serie B and in the Champions League for example. Also game skin has to contain club colors all over it, primary and secondary, I want to have a feeling like I am managing a certain club. How it is now, where everything is purple, every club feels the same. Also, of course, the 2D match engine should get an upgrade, currently it is stuck in the early 90s. All in all, game graphics and aesthetics do not have to be anything revolutionary, the atmosphere has to be spot on, so you can see the difference between leagues and clubs, as it is now, it just looks like some soulless program.

I can understand stagnating graphics, I can understand poor new features, I can understand the game being almost the same for the last 3 years, but I simply CAN'T understand BASIC things like this not working properly after so many years of development

I don't have FM 2023 but one thing is for sure - the game is not trying to rob you or force Real to win the semifinals, it is that old one "it is your tactics" or they are simply better. But as for the second leg played first, I remember seeing somebody posting the screenshot with the same issue, so I assume it is a bug

Wait, how can you create a save for the season 23/24 in FM 23? I know you could select January for example for a starting date in earlier FM editions, I don't have FM 2023 so I don't know how that works, it does not make sense
