Wasn't there a competition a few years back where the winner would appear on the game Artwork/Promo Material the following edition as well?

CM2 player since the early 90's. Every version since. I see the appeal of the touch versions, and sometimes full fat feels like a drag, but touch versions feel "Hollow" in a certain way. Like, I don't get involved in EVERY part of the full version, but would miss it if it wasn't there. Imagine FIFA with only Premier League teams. I don't play outside the Prem, but would never choose NOT to have other teams available, even for an increased cost. It's not what the game is all about. Its that feeling.

It doesnt seemingly happen often enough IMO to be a massive issue (AI making Stupid counter-offers, well, that's another thing) Maybe the club/Director of Football/whoever has a low rating for Predicting Potential Ability? Lets face it, Chelsea sold Salah for 15 Million Euros and De Bruyne for 22 million, Not their best bit of Business, but these things happen.

I'm the same. Own Tactics and only Scouted players and, although nowhere near as sucessful as most, I have got Wrexham into the Premier League by 2029, and I can say the challenge is fun, but I can see how some people get frustrated and give up on a save. Getting into the Championshp was easy enough, Getting into the Premier League wasn't too bad, but getting to the point where I am consistantly giving teams a decent game, seems a mile away. I got 7 points from my opening 3 games this season against Leeds (H), Chelsea (H) and City (A), since then I have lost back to Back to Newcastle and Middlesborough with a few poor draws here and there and it brings me back down to Earth just how tough this final jump up could be with inconsistant form. I can see why people give up, but I can also see why people have 20-30+ season long saves.

Seems a decent announcement. Hope this tweaks the AI's Ridiculous(IMO) take on loans and a better way of striking a deal rather than "I see you rejected our offer of 100% wages and a mandatory £5 million for your star player, how about 85% wages and a £4.5 million mandatory fee?"

FFS Better take a close look at my filters for FM24 then. It only just dawned on me that players labelled as wonderkids might have a higher age range than I anticipated

So, potentially, filtering players below a certain age mean I could miss out? For example, 15-19 range means there would still be 20 year old "Wonderkids" I've potentially missed out on? At what point are they not a Wonder"Kid"?

Are "Wonderkids" noted as such from when they are generated? I guess not, but is there a cut off in age where they they are either a wonderkid or not? 17? Can a player become a wonderkid all of a sudden at 19 or so? This wait for 24 is going to kill me mentally....

Yeah, there is 2 versions. I'm gonna hold out for a few weeks and see what prices more reputable sites come out with. To be fair, for the entertainment to pound ratio, I'll pay full steam price if I have any concerns.

The official post states that "...Pre orders through steam or the epic store..." will get beta access, so pre order from any reputable reseller that processes through Steam?
