Are Poland still terrible to watch? They always seem to qualify, but always so defensive and rigid whenever I see them at a tournament.

If Trent does start in midfield I think we can well and truly put the Southgate 'pragmatism' era behind us. It should also placate them who froth about "TAKE THE ****ING HANDBREAK OFF!". It's a starting XI with an entire midfield of forward progressive players. I don't worry about balance so much, but I do worry about the space between mid and defence and whether Trent has the discipline and positional sense to protect out of possession. Also puts a huge target on his back, and I never had him down as someone who does well under pressure. Will be interesting to see how it goes. Excited!

Is it just me or is anyone else finding that they're not showing enough replays of key incidents? They only showed one of that Barella goal, normally they'd show it a few times from different angles. In the other game we didn't get to see what happened to Morata. Normally they'd show us where he pulled up, but nothing. Anyone else notice this or am I just not paying enough attention?

Stats really reveal how much of a dominant force Kane has been for the past 8 years in an England shirt, AND, the lack of anyone being near his standard to compete with, AND, his lack of injury proneness. Also shows just how much of a sneaky transitional team we have out there this time. Could really do with some good number 9's coming through the youth ranks. Kane's invaluable, of course, but England is built around his skillset first (for better or worse).

Yea before you give up on a full compliment you can offer double dips. Pretty sure there'd be a few, like England's Rob there, who'd be happy to do so.
