April 2030 I think we're out of the League Cup after a poor month, but a good start in the Sudamericana sets up an enticing showdown with Sao Paulo in a group where only the winner progresses.

March 2030 A much better month, and we're within a shout of the top 4.

You're right, I was actually reading about this earlier today and it slipped my mind. It was only a passing reference, as it was more about the owner who defrauded the club during the relegation. Funnily enough he was also one of the best ever Argentinian players but a bit of a bit reputation to go along with it. Saw his name pop up on a Reddit post with some sports media article showing a combined best ever France/Argentina best XI.

February 2030 A bit of a slow start to the League Cup, but we have some time to turn this around.

Preseason 2030 Four new players make the cut to join out starting XI. Central Defender Segundo Volante Winger False Nine A good start to the season, considering we didn't have any friendlies beforehand.

Yeah I think they ended up having 16 wins in a row, pretty hard to lose the league from there. Every iteration of the league has been won by either Boca or River so far, hopefully we can change that sooner rather than later.

2029 End of Season Review For some reason the end of season graphic didn't fire which is a little anticlimactic, just like our season. If it wasn't for a 93rd minute goal in our final game we would've finished in 5th and guaranteed a spot in the Libertadores. But into the Sudamericana we go! November 2029 A perfect November, and a continental spot is all but ours in our first top flight season.

October 2029 Boca knock us out of the cup, but we're still in the top 6 in the league. With only 6 games left we have a great shot at continental qualification provided we don't fall apart.

September 2029 A couple of losses make the bread in a win sandwich, including an understandable flogging at the hands of River Plate. That being said, we're in the top 6 at the halfway point in the league.

The scores are essentially calculated by weighting their attributes deemed necessary for the role they're playing, converted into a score out of 100 based on what the "perfect" player in that role would look like. In terms of identifying transfer targets, I do have masking turned off. I then import all players within the scouting range and then see who's rated the highest in each position. But I only sign them if they provide an immediate improvement to the first XI. There's no point buying players for their potential, that's what my youngsters coming out of the academy are for theoretically

August 2029 A very draw-centric month, but hey, at least we aren't losing. Our unbeaten start to the league did come to an end thanks to Belgrano, but winning our game in hand can push us into the top 6.

July 2029 An unbelievable start to the league here, with two wins and a cup win over Premier Division opposition.

June 2029 We lose the League Cup final, but the fact that we even made it is huge. Onto the league now!

May 2029 We've made the semis of the League Cup, an incredible achievement for our first time in it, and we're also through to the last 16 of the cup.

April 2029 We run into one of the big dogs in Boca and are duly smashed. We also lose to Rosario Central, who I beat in the Libertadores back in Brazil, but we still stay 2nd.

March 2029 Our winning streak continues somehow, but if we get some injuries our lack of depth will be exposed.

February 2029 A strong start in the League Cup, but there are a bunch of good teams we are yet to play.
