  1. 2027 Youth Intake Dennis Petersen 4H - Kasper Bisgaard 4D - Martin Jørgensen 4E* I expected a strong intake for our first one as a semi-pro club, and I wasn't disappointed. 14 players with a PA of 4.5* or higher, and many with multi star CA! Fine additions to our collection.
  2. We scraped into the Promotion stage, but then on the back of a 14 game unbeaten streak we surged up the table to earn promotion! I'm not sure if it's due to this 3rd intake, but 5 players from that intake made their debuts since they joined the club. We also get promoted as the most attacking team too, signs we could hang in the 2. Division if our defence isn't up to scratch. Transfers Best XI Mikkel Jensen - Erik Sigil 1D* - Nikolaj Frandsen Honorable Mention: Benjamin Warlo Warlo gets a mention as before he was pushed out by youngster Poulsen he had a landmark season, scoring 33 goals. He's decided to retire at the end of the season though, as he feels he may no longer be up for it. I disagree, but fair enough. Record Breakers Award Winners Manager Timeline I let the HOYD deal with the offering of amateur contracts to my youth players and they showed up as signings in the timeline. Weird. Progress
  3. 2026 Youth Intake Bjarki Guðmundsson 3A - Per Jensen 3B - Martin Ellehave 3C An excellent intake, not coincidentally due to the increase in junior coaching. There are a couple of players good enough for the first team already, our 3A Icelandic prospect included.
  4. A season where we finished lower than we did last season, but I felt a bit more comfortable with surviving funnily enough. I've snagged a Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment upgrade so hopefully we'll be getting in some first team contenders. We do have one youth product that's been a big feature for us though which is great. Best XI Benjamin Warlo - Mikkel Jensen - Nikolaj Frandsen Record Breakers Award Winners Manager Timeline Progress
  5. 2025 Youth Intake Mads Steenssøe Helsinghoff 2A - Dennis Drexel Spence 2B - Mads Blaabjerg 2C A strong intake in terms of potential, but we don't need potential, we need current ability!
  6. We survive easily, but both the board and supporters aren't happy because they expected a top half finish. But who cares, I'm happy to survive and we'll do better next season. Best XI Benjamin Warlo - Mikkel Jensen - Nikolaj Frandsen Record Breakers Award Winners Manager Timeline I should add that the transfer mentioned in the timeline was made before I joined the team, he just joined at that time. For what it's worth he didn't play a single game, and he probably never will. Progress
  7. 2024 Youth Intake Christopher Petersen 1A - Anders Blynov 1B - Rasmus Sørensen 1C A pretty strong intake to start things off here, buoyed by the average junior coaching we already possess.
  8. Wasn't really feeling Romania, a little bit too tedious for my liking, so I'm off somewhere else, like Denmark. An amateur club, but hopefully not for long. The club has some top tier history, but hasn't been there in about 50 years. The youth development philosophy is encouraging too!
  9. 2026 Youth Intake Alexandru Dogaru 3A - Sebastian Sefer 3B - Cătălin Bratu 3C I don't know how to feel about this intake. It looks like it could be strong, but the personalities are awful.
  10. We did a lot better this season, but we still avoided the relegation playoff by a point. I'm pretty optimistic about next season though, as our junior coaching and youth recruitment have been upgraded, and hopefully there's more where that came from. What's worrying though is that we're losing our two starting CBs and our best performers on free transfers. So we'll see if the replacements can step up and fill some very large boots. Best XI Cosmin Ciocoteală - Ionuţ Teodorescu - Iosif Cristică Record Breakers Award Winners Manager Timeline Additions Progress
  11. 2025 Youth Intake Florentin Floricel 2A - Robert Ungureanu 2B* - George Pascu 2C A little disappointing, but we don't have the finances to upgrade anything at this stage so we just need to keep pushing forward.
  12. Survival, but only just. We'll take it though! Best XI Cosmin Ciocoteală - Robert Jerdea - Ionuţ Teodorescu Record Breakers Award Winners Manager Timeline Progress
  13. 2024 Youth Intake Dan Pînzariu 1A - Nelu Stan 1B - Dumitru Stănilă 1C* Not a bad opening intake, I think a couple might appear as a sub for the remaining games this season.
  14. Alrighty, let's try Romania.... CSM Alexandria, located in a town of 45,000 people and a 2 hour drive from Bucharest. A relatively young club with a decent size stadium, which means history just waiting to be written. The best part? I now have 38 players to work with, more then three times what I had in Slovenia. Let's hope I can last a little longer here
  15. My bad, thought I saw it in a separate thread but I was mistaken. Was a toss up between Denmark and Romania due to their youth rating, but Romania just edged it. Should it not work out, Denmark will be my next destination.
  16. I've had saves in Portugal, Hungary and Czech Rep, and I think I've dabbled with Slovakia and Iceland at one point. I've seen Sweden get completed a few years ago, Denmark might be an option, but Romania might just take the cake for now. Watch this space... Also, does the Liga III become playable at some point, and if not what league am I eligible to manage in there?
  17. Well, in what was perhaps a blessing in disguise, I've been sacked in Slovenia. It's an absolute nightmare managing there, I wasn't able to fill an XI and then when the youth came in they weren't eligible to play, even the 16 year olds. SO it's off somewhere else, does anyone have any suggestions outside of the Big Five nations?
  18. 2024 Youth Intake David Krajnc 1A - Simon Koren 1B - Aleksander Oblak 1C A less than impressive intake, but these guys are much needed and now we'll be able to field a full team.
  19. I'll be waiting until most of the major non-European leagues are made playable to build on my save from FM22, but in the meantime I'll be returning to my first and only true love in FM, the Youth Academy Challenge. I'm only up to Page 9 so far, but I don't think anyone has chosen where I'll be managing in yet. It's the highest ranked country in the UEFA coefficient without a team in Europe excluding Russia and unplayable leagues. Not really spoilt for choice in Slovenia, with both promoted teams having no more than 12 players. What made me choose Podvinci over the other team is the fact that of the other team's 12 players, 4 were keepers. Easy choice. Tactically I won't be operating with anything specific, just what my analysts think will work best against whoever we're playing. The roles will be the simplest ones in the game, nothing too fancy. I'll also be using my attribute formulas to pick the teams, but at this early stage I'll be using quick pick as we won't have enough players to fill the team. All I know is that it's going to be a white knuckle ride until the intake when we'll have some warm bodies to take up space. My qualifications: https://gyazo.com/a5b7043f6322a338fa9c2cbcfd57a0fb
  20. We go undefeated in our last 6 league games, and we try a new formation for our last game and celebrate the league win in style Best XI Carlos Uhía - Gaël Kakudji - Andreas Burssens Record Breakers Award Winners Progress
  21. 2024 Youth Intake Vincent Launay 3A* - Serge Nsiala 3B - Luciany Simon 3C* Another strong intake, and we even get a Russian that will never represent any form of his national team. Oh well.
  22. March 2024 Three wins from three, and we're going to the top division as champions! With that comes all the perks... We can look for players based outside of Belgium for the first time
  23. January-February 2024 Ins We find another player from the 4th division to boost our midfield. A couple of suspensions sees us drop games to Mouscron and Waasland-Beveren, but the win over Lierse gives us a little bit of daylight at the top.
