Thanks for your question, I am not sure those clubs are there but for Bilbao e.g. i have checked and there is no foreign policing, perhaps you can elaborate on that?
I built a new league structure from scratch and there is no registration or foreign rules or anything like that.
Regarding the Japanese clubs there are not many of them but i suggest adding players and staff to playable teams when you load up the game.
I will monitor that though and if i find its too big an issue for them i might replace them with a team that can be more competitive.
Some clubs are hard-coded to never buying players of other nations, that's what I mean.
By the way, please don't take the Japanese clubs out, we can use your mod with a database that adds the players back

Question: how clubs like Athletic Bilbao, Chivas Guadalajara and El Nacional work regarding their foreign player police? Because whenever I tried other updates like this they would get bugged and always relegated.
Regarding your balance based on CA, are the Japanese clubs hit hard by having no players at the start?

Hello.
In the former versions of the Editor, if I were to remove all foreigner-based rules I would select every nation, click on Relationships and add every continent to "Nations Treated as Non-Foreign".
On the FM20 version of the Editor, I can't multi select to do it any more. Is that right?

Question: why can't I select to loan players that are listed for loan? That's something crucial for gameplay, please fix it.

Just FYI, I'll be releasing an update to the file(s) tonight that makes some changes to some dates. I'll also be releasing a couple of "alternative" versions of the file where all playable clubs are set to professional, and then on that enhances all of the club and competition reputations.
Also I have created a file that adds the new "Leagues Cup" competition between MLS and Liga MX. It will be released as well.
Awesome! Any chances for a version with promotion/relegation? It would hit the spot!

It just so happens that they don't have many natural centre-backs irl too. iirc Clyde Borg and Alex Cini provided cover through the season, and there's Kurt Theuma from the youth team as well...
You can check their transfermarkt page (although it's not always perfect but it's usually a good indication generally) to verify that they don't have a lot defensive players: https://www.transfermarkt.com/floriana-fc/startseite/verein/10603/saison_id/2018
Huh. That's something curious indeed! Maybe I will add some points in the CB position for those players that served as cover.

Now if you meant to say "short of good defenders", that would be another thing altogether

Incredible job! This is one of the most intriguing countries of Europe, so making a save would be pretty nice.
Question: is it just me or the teams are short of defenders in general?
