  1. I have another example which in my opinion exemplifies pretty cleraly that this is a bug. Atalanta spending most of its tranfer budget (54 mln euros for a single player) on Thiago Gouveia that ends up never playing because he does not fit the 3-4-1-2 formation used by the team. As you can see, at the end of december he still has 0 overall appearances. I noticed that most of the times this bug happens with teams that play a 3 man defence (3-4-1-2, 3-4-2-1) and keep on buying wingers and inside forwards for no reason.
  2. I uploaded a savegame named "AI_buying_players_in_wrong_roles" which is before the tranfer happened. I also upload another savegame named "AI_buying_players_in_wrong_roles_after" that is after the transfer. Inter (3-5-2 system) bought Victor Tsygankov that will get no playing time because he cannot play in any position in a 3-5-2. I have seen that happening quite a few times at this point
  3. Thanks Zachary. The problem is that chairman's objectives change whenever there is a takeover, while club vision was more "stable". So you confirm me this is a bug and can we expect it to see it fixed?
  4. I trust you guys to have conducted the correct statistical analysis. From my (not that detailed) analysis, penalties in game are 20-30% less than in real football
  5. I am seeing a lot of nosense buys like that. For example, teams playing with a 3-5-2 system randomly buying a winger or an inside forward that ends up never getting any playing time because it does not fit into the formation used by the team
  6. I find that there are not enough penalties being given out in game compared to reality. If I go look at the penalties awarded stat in every major league I have loaded in game (full details on), the number is incredibly low compared to real life stats. The average number of penalties in every league is often something like 2-3 per season, which is obviously too low. I believe that increasing the number would increase the realism of the game.

  8. Yep, I have been having the same issue, most formations disappeared, which is really a shame. Hope it can be fixed
  9. How can I edit club visions? It seems to have disappeared from the club's page on the editor. In its place I find supporters objectives, which isn't supposed to be the same thing right? Is there any way to edit club vision in FM23 editor?
  10. Do you guys know why they removed the possibility to edit club vision from the editor? How can I do it? Now I can only edit "supporters objectives". Which in theory isn't the same thing as club vision right?
  11. I still see technical attributes developing less than mental and physical, as it came out from the analysis on the other post. Can we still see some adjustment to make it more even?
  12. As I said, I still see technicals lagging a bit behing mentals and physical in players development. Can we expect to see further balancing on the issue @Andrew James?
  13. Seems to me that technical attributes are still lagging behind with respect to mental and physical honestly. Even though the negative difference is lower after the update, there is still a negative difference with every single technical attribute at the moment.

  15. I uploaded a savegame named "no rotation ai". You can notice it yourself. Even teams that in reality rotate a lot (for example, FIorentina's attacking line) because they have european games, in FM always use the same striker. Even in roles where they have players of similar value, that should be in competition between each other to start every game. The AI just picks one, and the other one never plays. In the savegame I uploaded, you can have a look at Artur Cabral: Never playing. The manager is always playing Jovic. While in reality, FIorentina manager is almost always switching between Jovic, Cabral and Kouame, that are constantly competing for a spot in the starting eleven. Completely ridicoulous, where is the "Improved AI" Headline feature? The AI is exactly the same, if not worse, than previous games. I will be returning the game soon. I am done for this year.
  16. Absolutely agree, am I the only one to notice that the AI is still exactly the same as last years? Where is this magic major overhaul? What does it concern exactly? AI managers still employ THE SAME formation every single game, they do not even rotate players always using the same 11, as I said in my post regarding the issue. And this should be realism? I feel like I have been tricked into buying when they have as a MAJOR FEATURE something that is completely non existent in game. I think I'll be returning the game this year, this is just ridiculous.
  17. I can indeed, but it is just a common fact. Managers do not rotate. Just load up a random save and you'll see AI constantly employing the same 11, with the other players only being subbed in. You can check it yourself with a random save
  18. Can someone from SI tell us something about this? The bug is there. The AI rotation is non existent and got a lot worse than it was in FM 22. I am still flabbergasted since better AI was supposed to be an "headline feature"
  19. I have posted for months some years ago, I think it was FM16, about the fact that AI managers are dumb and never change their starting 11 even with super tired and out of shape players. After 7 years, barely anything has changed. This year one of the HEADLINE features was smarter AI and what am I seeing? AI Managers that are dumber than ever, they literally play the same team every game, even in the first part of 2022/23 seasons where there are supposed to rotate since they have a game every 3-4 days. Is SI aware of this issue? Weren't smarter AI managers one of the biggest features this year? I struggle to understand how can you prodly announce something like that and then come out with FM16 AI.   20. Honestly, did anyone notice ANY change in how the AI managers behave? I have noticed none, they look identical as last year. If anything, worse, since I am noticing that they only play the same team and never rotate their starting eleven, even with super tired players. I barely see any turnover being done. And that was supposed to be an HEADLINE feature?

  22. Players DO NOT develop technically!! Huge game breaking bug here. I attach some screenshots of the development of Endrick, one of the biggest wonderkids in the game, from 2022 to 2032 to prove my point. Look at his stats. Technicals increased by max 1-2 points while mentals such as Composure, Decisions, Off the ball and Vision went trough the roof. Also the increase in physical is too big with respect to his technical attributes. Please SI fix this!! It is completely unrealistic to have a database full of techically horrendous players. For now I only have screenshot, will post a savegame as soon as I can
  23. Could you post this on the bug tracker section if you did not already? It will help speeding up the process of fixing the issue. I will post my findings as well
