We are suddenly doing well enough to survive in the league with Pretoria Callies. We are very competitive in games and our games are tight, and I really appreciate it that my team is fighting for the badge and giving it their all to pick up as many points as possible. I hope this continues and we have a decent season ahead.

We have signed three centre backs on loan here at Pretoria Callies. Thabiso Moloto came on loan from Sundowns. Cyril Mbutho came on loan from Orlando Pirates. Joshua Pequeno came on loan from Polokwane City. We are very competitive in games, but we need that first win of the season to give us a lift.

The new season has started and some transfers have happened, we have had a major clearout of the squad and I have started shaping up the squad in the way I want it. In no other club have I had this much control on transfers and whenever I have to make changes in the squad either there are some players who are just comfortable taking a higher wage or I got sacked without being given any patience, this has happened at Lille, Getafe and Coventry City. Thabang Lebese joined Pretoria Callies from Royal AM for 14k pounds. Ofentse Mngadi, Nhlanhla Mkonza and Akiel Raffie joined the club on free transfers. Patrick Barriero left Pretoria Callies to join Maritzburg United for 12k pounds.

The losing streak continues but our way of playing is getting better, but right now we don't need positives, we need points. We need to be better in order to complete our task of avoiding relegation. We have also been knocked out of the cup by Mamelodi Sundowns. Also Bongani Maluleke went to Soweto Panthers for 0 pounds.

@gowerNCFC In clubs that are finding it difficult to pick morale up, sometimes fresh faces are required since there needs to be an injection of motivation in the team. In pretty much every club I have done my best to upgrade the quality of player we are bringing in, to pick the form up. I have lasted at a club for at least six months, due to the attritional football I play which gives me a chance against any team, yes my win percentage is lower but as you can see, at Correcaminos it was working and I was there for 18 months. It is important to ship players out that are draining the wage structure and that has been a bit of a struggle at Pretoria Callies but usually it has worked. Sometimes I may myself not stay at a club for a long time, but I put the foundations in the club for it to become sustainable.
