Our form in the league is improving but we need a miracle to get to the next round in the cup as we lost the first leg. We are also hoping to improve the squad in the transfer window when it eventually comes. Daniel Santa will leave the club to join Alianza Universidad for 18k pounds.

Our form has improved slightly, however we still have a long way to go. We will face La Equidad in the Colombian Cup third round.

Our horrible run of form continues and we need to be better in terms of performance. We started the season off very well but the wheels have come off.

Our poor form has seen us sleepwalk towards the bottom end of the table. We need to do something to sort it out.

There is a dip in form from our team at the moment and we hope that we can recover from it. We have the unity, quality and mentality to do it. And I feel that it is present in our current club, Deportivo Cali compared to Lille and Getafe. Lille was a disaster, players were not able to score goals and every time we played we seemed to lose confidence. At Getafe, the quality was not quite there and my current successor Phil Neville at Getafe isn't really doing any better. Unai Emery was my replacement at Lille and yes it highlighted how bad I did at Lille and the fact that the players were not completely on board with my way of playing.

We signed Maximiliano Fornari on a free transfer. We signed Andriy Totovytskyi from Shakhtar Donetsk for 14k pounds. Also we signed Oscar Perea on loan from Atletico Nacional. Also we have a win and loss in the two games we played. It is the best start we have had to any season on the save so far so I am happy with that.

Felipe Macedo has come to Deportivo Cali from Ponte Preta for 8.25k pounds. Andres Arroyo has gone on loan to Bogota FC. Back to back wins for us means that we are flying high in the table now.

Kevin Riascos has gone to Jaguares FC on loan. Juan Jose Cordoba has gone to Rio Ave for 110k pounds. We also won our first game of the season with Deportivo Cali.

We sold Daniel Luna to FC Midtjylland for 325k pounds. Also Jhan Cuero and Timofey Martynov came to Deportivo Cali on a free transfer. We also played our opening game and lost.

Juan David Valencia, Yeison Suarez and Jesus Marimon are joining Deportivo Cali on a free transfer. Jhojan Escobar is joining Municipal on loan.

Kevin Moreno went to Union Huaral for 61k pounds. Duvan Mina went to Nashville for 200k pounds. Humberto Acevedo went to Goias for 68k pounds. Jhon Cortes joined Deportivo Cali from Atletico Nacional for 475k pounds.

Some more transfers have happened. Kevin Dawson has gone to Colorado for 375k pounds. Joan Ramirez has gone to Sport Huancayo for 130k pounds. Eduar Caicedo has gone to Tombense for 230k pounds. Brayan Montano has gone to Jagiellonia for 200k pounds. Juan David Gonzalez has gone to Patriotas Boyaca on loan.

I have first sold a few players from Deportivo Cali. Hector Mancilla has gone on loan to Atletico de Cali. Carlos Davila has gone to Vitoria for 225k pounds. Juan Esteban Franco has gone to Sport Huancayo for 125k pounds. Onel Acosta has gone to Cucuta Deportivo for 44k pounds.

We now have a new job, I am now the manager of Deportivo Cali in Colombia. It is a very big club here in Colombia and I am looking to make my mark here. I am confident that we can do a good job here. And this is what the squad looks like.

Sacked by Getafe after 6 and a half months in charge of the club. I leave them in 17th place in La Liga, they have got 12 points in 17 games. Let's hope for better luck in the next job we are at.

We are trying to find solutions to do well in games but we are coming unstuck. We are out of the relegation zone so that is good. Noah Stassin will come on loan to Getafe from Empoli in January.

A board meeting happened and I persuaded the board by saying that I am playing a bunch of youngsters who will grow to become first team players. Also we face Sanluqueno in the first round of the Copa del Rey.

We signed Carl Davordzie on loan from CFR Cluj. He will come in January. Injuries are messing us up and we have lost one more game.

Ravaged with injuries, we somehow stay out of the relegation zone. We need a few more wins to be comfortable.

5 losses in a row. This is getting alarming. We need to arrest the slide here at Getafe and pick up some wins.

Three losses in a row means that our form is getting worse. We need to improve our form ASAP. And we need to do something about it.

Our form is very steady and I am happy about it, we are doing okay. Now, we have asked the board to improve our youth facilities, but they declined it because they asked us to use the transfer market to sign some players, so I will probably sign a couple of players on free transfers.
