What happened in Europe (2024-25 season) Part 1.

We played Cimarrones in the quarter final of the Mexican Expansion League Closing Stage and lost on aggregate. Now I am hoping that we will do better next season. We finished 11th in the league.

We ended the closing phase in 11th place and we qualified for the preliminary round where we beat Celaya, so I am very happy with that.

We are coming towards the end of the second phase of the league and we look like we are going to survive and I am very happy, let's hope that we also stay in the job where we are at or get a job interview from a club that is interested in us.

We finally got a win after very long and I am happy with that. This is my best performance so far as manager in this save. And I feel like the players are buying into my style of play.

My former player at Deportivo Cali, Felipe Macedo will join Correcaminos on a free transfer in June. Also our form has dipped a bit so we need to pick that form up.

I now have proof that my brand of football can work at a club after seeing it previously not work in some clubs like Lille and Getafe. But this group of players are very talented and have the right motivation to succeed.

We have been riddled with injuries but our form is picking up and we are doing well. Alberto Bautista, the Mexican Rashford is doing incredible things at a young age.

Our form is improving and I am happy with that. Alberto Bautista is proving to be a gem of a player and I hope he continues in this vein of form.

Yes it is. I play really attritional football, and I am hoping I string a run of ugly results with points and get to where I want to.

We started poorly in the first game of the season but there has been some transfer activity. Edgar Lopez went on loan to Defensor Sporting. Adrian Lozano went on loan to Dorados. Cristian Mosquera and Yerson Mosquera (not the Wolverhampton Wanderers one) joined on a free transfer.

Mario Vucetich has joined Necaxa for 60k pounds and he has come back to Correcaminos on loan. Nicolas Baeza has joined Correcaminos on a free transfer. Erubiel Castro has joined Canamy technically on a free transfer, but since it is an actual transfer the fee is zero pounds. Daviz Junco has joined Veracruz for 775 pounds.

We have a new job. And now we are the manager of Correcaminos in Mexico. It is a smaller club than the clubs I have previously managed but now I hope for a good experience. We stayed for nearly a year at Deportivo Cali and I am pleased with that. I am looking to build something good at this club and put all my focus there. This is what the squad looks like.

I have been sacked by Deportivo Cali after nearly a year in charge. My longest managerial stint so far on this save. In my opinion, in terms of character this is the best side I have managed so far, lots of fighters and they were all very committed.

This is bizarre. Deportivo Cali have been relegated. I am responsible for a relegation now, I thought we were safe and I did not know how the rules worked. But here we are. I am still carrying on in my job and I will remain in my job for as long as possible.

We need a jolt up to survive in the league and it is like we are on our last legs, that little bit of energy to give us a win is what we require and I think we can do it.

It's all going down to the wire and a few decent results will keep us up. The injuries to players are something we have to navigate obviously and hopefully we can do that.

We lost two games in a row and our injury issues are becoming a problem, we need wins quickly to steady things here at Deportivo Cali. I have bolstered the squad with some signings in the transfer window and now I am hoping they pay off.

Injuries are piling up, we got back to back wins and now it appears we have got that quality to battle in my squad. This is what I wanted to instill in my Lille and Getafe squads. But the Deportivo Cali squad have taken it on board and we are seeing some results out of it.

Fabian Cantillo joined Deportivo Cali from Envigado FC for 23.5k pounds. Also we have a few injuries to deal with. Victories here and there are helping the team stay competitive even during tough times.

Our form is still inconsistent but we are surviving in the job. Jesus Marimon has gone to Santa Clara for 325k pounds. Matias Ruiz Diaz has joined on a free transfer. Maico Quiroz has joined on loan from Racing Club.

Juan Jose Tello has gone on loan to Atletico de Cali. Roger Andretty went on loan to Municipal. Santiago Rosales joined Deportivo Cali on a free transfer. A loss and a win somehow keep us at a job.

The transfer window is now open and we signed Kevin Andrade and Alexis Dominguez on a free transfer. Adrian Palacios went on loan to Deportivo Lara.
