    Board meeting alert. It has happened, the first board meeting. Somehow we have managed to avoid the sack at Portsmouth for now. We also face Bradford City in the first round of the FA Cup.

    Our league form has improved a bit, but we have been knocked out of the Papa John's Trophy. Jake Livermore has confirmed his move to Forest Green for 130k pounds. The transfer will be official in January.

    Our league form is stuttering but we recently had a smash and grab draw against Oxford where we scored in the final minute and I can see some improvement, now hopefully that continues in the rest of the season.

    We made one late deadline day signing. Tyreece John-Jules has joined Portsmouth on a free transfer. In the league we are not looking so good and even in the Papa John's Trophy we have had a terrible start.

    Liam Vincent went on loan to York and Harry Jewitt-White went on loan to Hayes and Yeading. We also got knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Crystal Palace.

    We got our first loss in the league against Leyton Orient. Also Reeco Hackett went on loan to St. Johnstone in Scotland. Matt Dolan has been sold to Shrewsbury for 15.25k pounds. So yes, we need to be more consistently good in the league to progress as a club.

    We won on penalties in the first round of the Carabao Cup against Ipswich. We face Crystal Palace in the next round of the Carabao Cup. Also we have signed Lewis Hall on loan from Chelsea and also Alfie Bridgman has gone to Chippenham on loan.

    We have signed Ethan Galbraith on a free transfer. Also we have signed Arthur Okonkwo and Micah Hamilton on loan from Arsenal and Manchester City respectively. The Papa John's Trophy group has been drawn. Also we start the new season off with a win in the league against Huddersfield.

    Few more deals have been done. Isaak Davies has joined from Cardiff for 875k pounds. Shaun Rooney has joined from Fleetwood for 300k pounds. Bastian Smith has gone on loan to Wealdstone. Also, Sonny Perkins joins Portsmouth on loan from Leeds.

    A few transfers have been done. Haji Mnoga has joined Burton Albion from Portsmouth for 69k pounds. Ben Woodburn has joined the club from Preston for 130k pounds. And Vitezslav Jaros has joined from Liverpool on a free transfer. Also Louis Thompson and Kieron Freeman have joined Aberdeen in Scotland. We are quietly reshaping our squad in the way I want it to be. Also we face Ipswich Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

    So the transfer budget for the new season has been decided. Transfer deals have happened. We sold Michael Jacobs to AFC Wimbledon for 14.5k pounds. We bought Clarke Oduor from Barnsley for 325k pounds. We bought James Scott from Hull City for 3.3 million pounds. We sold Joshua Oluwayemi to Notts County for 25.5k pounds. So yes there has been a bit of wheeling and dealing.

    Tom Lowery is moving to Shamrock Rovers for 800k pounds. We finished 11th in League One with Portsmouth with a win at the final game of the season. These are the stats of the players at the end of the season. It has been a steady start at Portsmouth. Let's see what the new season brings.

    Matt Olosunde will join Portsmouth from Preston for 3.8k pounds in the next transfer window. We also had some indifferent form in the league as we come towards the end of the season.

    We got our first win in the league for a while and I am delighted. It looked like we were going to go on a poor run of form and not do anything significant. Unfortunately we also lost in the Papa John's Trophy final to Cheltenham, it is disappointing but we move forward.

    We qualified with the Cameroon B team for the CHAN by beating Chad B over two legs. Two Cameroonians have accepted call ups to the national team as well.

    We have received a few job offers but refused to take them because of the wages on offer. We face Chad B in the CHAN qualifying campaign so hopefully we do well there.

    We signed Jake Livermore to Portsmouth on a free transfer and I am developing a young striker called Jayden Reid. The form of Dane Scarlett has fallen off a cliff and we need someone who can put the ball in the back of the net.

    We played a couple of games in the league and we lost. We are still in contention for the playoffs. We have to aim to pull it off.

    We are through to the final of the Papa John's Trophy and we will face Cheltenham in the final. We also beat our opponents in the final of the competition in the league, so that is some good preparation for the final.
