  1. We have a new job. I have taken the Portsmouth job in League One. Well at least this club is stable and we are not battling relegation. Does it appear that we are going to stay here longer? Only time will tell. But we are close to the playoff spots and if we can pull it off it would be great. Also this is the Portsmouth squad.
  2. Job offers left, right and centre. I declined some and I have delayed others as I am waiting for the right offer.
  3. I resigned from the Stade Lavallois job, I had a 35% win rate. On paper it looks decent but most of my wins came in the cup and it just was not working at this club and saving them from relegation ultimately became a mammoth task so I left.
  4. Sampdoria, that's cool. Looks like they found you in the database of best young coaches and decided to take a punt. Only time will tell whether you're the next Will Still or the next Nathan Jones.
  5. We signed Ali Kalla on a free transfer. Happy with this signing. Also we beat AS Beauvais Oise in the French Cup and we will face Toulouse in the next round of the cup.
  6. Interesting time to quit the Dorking job, hopefully you can make the step up.
  7. Top of the rich list currently is Julian Nagelsmann at Juventus earning 165k pounds per week. Second on the list is Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool earning 160k pounds per week. Third on the list is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United earning 160k pounds per week. Under Nagelsmann last season Juventus won Serie A, they won the Italian Super Cup final against Napoli, won the Italian Cup against Milan and lost in the Champions League semi final against Bayern Munich. Under Rodgers last season, Liverpool finished 2nd in the Premier League, they lost the Community Shield to Manchester United, lost in the Carabao Cup third round to Brighton, they lost in the Champions League quarter final to Manchester United, lost in the FA Cup semi final to Blackburn. Under Solskjaer last season, Manchester United won the Premier League, won the Community Shield against Liverpool, lost the Euro Super Cup to Real Madrid, won the Carabao Cup against Arsenal, lost in the FA Cup semi final against Tottenham, and lost in the Champions League semi final on away goals to PSG.
  8. I have got a bunch of job offers but I won't take them because of the wages on offer.
  9. Matias Irala and Mamadou Diatta have joined Stade Lavallois. We got our first win in ages in the league. We still have work to do to progress from the bottom of the table.
  10. I resigned from the New Zealand job. It is a good decision because I needed to focus on the Stade Lavallois job. Marvin Baudry has gone on loan to Red Star FC. We moved to the next round of the French Cup and we will face AS Beauvais Oise.
  11. Had an interview from Lillestrom, got the job but declined it. Our league form is shaky but we have started scoring goals.
  12. France have won the 2022 World Cup. We face FC Fleury 91 in the next round of the French Cup. And Igor Djoman has joined Stade Lavallois on a free transfer.
  13. We beat La Roche VF in the cup and Sebastian da Silva and Ryan Ferhaoui have gone on loan to FC Haka.
  14. We beat USL Dunkerque in the French Cup seventh round. And we will face La Roche Vendee Football in the next round of the French Cup, our dismal league form continues.
  15. We have had a few interviews and we played our first couple of games as Cameroon manager in our second stint against Togo and Zambia.
  16. Our start to life as Stade Lavallois manager has been tough. Two defeats in a row. We will also face Dunkerque in the French Cup seventh round.
  17. So we have a new job. I have resigned from OES and I have taken the Cameroon job for the second time in my managerial career. I am now earning 6.25k pounds per week. Nearly double after the previous job. We left OES after we had a 20% win rate and a relegation, so it was not a particularly good spell there, they were 18th in the Brazilian Second Division. I technically jumped before I was pushed. This is what the Cameroon squad looks like currently.
  18. After the board meeting, the board have set a target of 6 points in 5 games for me. We have to accomplish that to stay on as OES manager.
  19. Last couple of games were very bad. A player called Deivity has joined us on loan from GOI. Fabricio has gone to CUI for 30.5k pounds. And we also have the dreaded board meeting to discuss our future at the club.
  20. A good upturn in form means that we are now 11th in the league. I am very happy that we appear to have turned a corner after a torrid start to my spell at OES. Also Talis has joined on loan from INT and Cesar Ramirez has joined on loan from Orsomarso SC.
  21. Job offers from everywhere, but we took the Stade Lavallois job in Ligue 2 in France. They are currently 15th in Ligue 2. It is a significant upgrade from KFUM Oslo. Also here is what the squad looks like.
  22. Job interviews and job offers have arrived. An interesting offer from Oliveirense came up but I have delayed that offer, the rest were not quite for me so I am not taking them up.
  23. I quit the KFUM Oslo job, I had a 12% win rate as manager and I accepted that I was unable to keep them up, so I left before the relegation was confirmed. And I thought it was the right thing to do. We also played our first game as New Zealand manager and beat Kuwait in a friendly. So yes I will be looking for a new club now. At KFUM Oslo I was bottom of the league, we fought hard but we were fighting a losing battle so I thought resigning from the job after nearly 2 months was the option I had to take. I am also interviewing for new jobs.
