  1. Congrats on the double and great to see you get Alvaro!
  2. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - April An excellent start to the month followed up by two very frustrating results, but we end with a win. Both Legia and Lech have also been dropping points which has kept us in the title race. I signed Vimoj Muntu Wa Mungu thinking he would be one for the future. But I couldn't find a decent more experienced Left-Back and have had him playing as much a as possible. His performances and development have been very pleasing. Although he has been rather inconsistent all season, this is another blow for us in the run in.
  3. We just can't string together a good sequence of wins and the title race is going to be another close one. I don't feel confident.
  4. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - March The results were much better this month. Although the game against Miedź was frustrating because we were 3-0 up at half-time and for some reason stopped playing well in the 2nd half. We got our revenge against Raków for knocking us out of the cup. Unfortunately we lost Javier Fernandez for the rest of the season. This is a big blow, even at his very young age he is a key player for us. There are two Polish players in the NXGN list. Rejczyk was bought from Legia for 3.2M, he's made 3 appearances for Liverpool so far. Nizlolek is on loan at Radomiak from Dortmund.
  5. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - Youth Intake Not much to get excited about.
  6. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - Winter Transfer Window I wasn't expecting to do so much business in the mid-season window. But here is the total outlay for the season. Mateusz Kuchta, our number 1 GK from last season had been relegated to a backup role, didn't like it and wanted to move. So, I signed an emergency backup, then I signed Tim Schreiber who should actually be able to push for the number 1 job. The biggest news was buying young striker Kacper Chełmecki. My scouts suggested he would be a good option for registration rules and since I was starting to get worried that I didn't have enough Polish players in the squad I decided to break our transfer record once again this season. The others were some youngsters with high potential who had been on amateur contracts. Managed to balance the books with with some sales.
  7. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - February Not a good month. We were poor against both Lech and Rakow.
  8. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - December Advancing to the Puchar Polski quarter finals was nice, but the result against Legia was not. According to the stats we were slightly ahead on xG, but it didn't feel like it during the match. We still have some way to go before we can compete with Legia on a regular basis. We also seem to have lost the defensive solidity that we had earlier in the season, which is a bit of a concern. We may be top of the table to end the year, but things are very close and any further slip up will open the door for Legia and Lech. Seeing two of our key players recognized is great. The youth intake preview is disappointing. But I guess I have to remember that the squad has been greatly improved over the last season, so it will be harder to get a good intake relative to our current players. I was already thinking about replacing our HOYD, and he announced that he will retire at the end of the season.
  9. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - November We remained undefeated, but we didn't quite dominate as we did earlier this season. Now we have a couple of key matches within a few days of each other. And Legia are out of the cup making things even harder for us.
  10. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - October Almost a perfect month. We might have won against Radomiak but Cranc got a straight red card in the 5th minute for a ridiculous tackle from behind.
  11. Is there a way to see which players came from Polonia?
  12. Great start to your season. Looks like you might manage two promotions in a row. Sad to see Polonia Warzawa falling back down the leagues.
  13. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - September With less than half the matches we had last month, September seemed rather quiet. The results were great, I only wish that we could have kept 3 clean sheets. But I did rotate a bit for the Górnik Zabrze match to give a few fringe players a run out. Junior Radziński is back to his great form from last season. He has scored 3 hattricks already!
  14. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - Transfer Roundup I did a lot more business than I thought I would, pretty much changing the whole squad. But the money was there to spend so it was hard not to. On the sale side, the biggest news was the sale of 19 year old Brazilian Mauro Neiva Tavares. I signed him last season on a free on really low wages for his potential. Sent him out on loan to a lower league club and was probably going to do that again. But then bids started coming in, I decided to cash in. Have a 20% of next transfer clause too, so it will be interesting to see if he keeps developing. As for players who joined us. For the most part I signed young players released by bigger clubs. But the one I did pay for I broke our transfer fee paid for record. Our big money purchase was young Croatian winger Ante Crnac from Raków. They paid over £1.1M for him in 2023, but for some reason he wasn't able to break into their team and asked for a move. So far seems like a bargain. Released by Byern Munich, young Spanish central midfielder Javier Fernandez looks like one that could be a key player for us for years to come. I'll highlight some of the rest through out the season if their performances warrant it.
  15. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - August Our busiest month ever was down and up. Like I predicted Bodø/Glimt were too much for us. We were rather disappointing and they outplayed us in both legs. Frustratingly they then lost to Croatian side Varaždin, who I think we would have had a better chance against. But we finished the month strong in the league with great performances, especially against Lech and Raków. Got the board to agree to a youth recruitment upgrade. This domestic player U22 rule is a bit of a pain. Last season we had a couple of U22 players who were regular starters and a couple more who were regularly coming off the bench and we met the criteria quite early on. But all those players have now aged out. We have some young players, but they are all foreign and we might just have to pay the fine this year.
  16. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - July Great start to our my first campaign in Europe, but the match against Legia was a tough lesson in how far we have to go. I may have made some mistakes in my squad rotation planning, but I didn't expect to by down by 5 at half-time. But after the hairdrier treatment and a couple of subs the players responded with a much better 2nd half. The one bright spot of that game and generally early surprise of the early season is young striker Ange Lago. I had signed him as one for the future and expected to use him sparingly this season. But early season injuries to our main strikers gave him and chance and boy has he grabbed it with both hands, 5 goals in 4 matches, including the 2 against Legia. Our next opponent in the Conference League are Bodø/Glimt. This will be a much tougher test and might be the end of the road for us. I was a bit surprised, but the board offered me a new 3 year deal with almost a year still left on my last contract. Not that there was much of raise. I managed to convince them for an improvement to Youth Coaching.
  17. Polonia Warszawa Season 3 - 2025/26 - Preview We're on the eve of the new league season and the start is jam packed and looking tough for us. Starting at home against a difficult opponent in Cracovia then we host Latvian side Valmiera four days later before an cross town trip to Legia. Board Expectations: PKO BP Ekstraklasa: Mid-table Puchar Polski: Be competitive UEFA Europa Conference League: Be competitive The media expect us to finish 13th in the league with the bookies giving us 700-1 odds for the title (17th place) We've done a bit of transfer business, including releasing 18 players, but the window is still open and we still have a good amount of money left in our transfer/wage budget.
  18. Great start at Jegiellonia! Good luck with the Lech job. I agree that it makes sense to apply for it and the potential there is huge.
  19. I had added some custom faces to my game and everything worked fine. But with the latest patch they are not loading. The faces from my regular facepack load, but not the custom faces that I added. Anyone else have this issue?
  20. Things are looking pretty good on the financial side. European club ranking up to 367. We'll be visiting either Latvia or Gibraltar on my first European adventure.
  21. Polonia Warszawa Season 2 - 2024/25 - Review (part 3) Lech won for the second season in a row, but as you can see, they outspend the rest of the league.
  22. Polonia Warszawa Season 2 - 2024/25 - Review (part 2) Some more highlights.
