  1. I'm not sure if I can frame this as a bug, but Raphinha always starts as transfer listed by AI Barcelona. It's a bit odd since Barcelona are very thight on attackers and he's one of their best players. It's also a very low asking fee of around 34 mil.
  2. I'm trying to publish an editor data to steam and it says it's successfull but it never shows up. And if I reload the editor data the image I chose dissappears every single time. Does anyone know what to do about this?
  3. I'm incredibly dissappointed that the release clauses in Spain still haven't been updated to the real world equivalents. I don't think they have been updated in 5-10 years. Whenever you try to renegotiate a contract, the game ignores the existing real world clause and it starts from a much lower number during the negotiations. In my third division, most players have 3 mil - 10 mil clauses from their real life contracts. Renegotiating a 8 mil clause starts at 1.5 mil for the AI which makes it almost impossible to bring the clause back up and not pay at least twice in wages for the same player. Barcelona and Real Madrid players have 400 mil - 1 bil clauses for most of their players. When renegotiating any of these contracts, real life equivalents get completely ignored so a good player gets locked at a 100-130 mil clause. In today's market that's nothing for world class players. Yamal's 1 bil clause starts at 26 mil when first renegotiating. This leaves Spanish clubs in a massive disadvantage as other leagues can very easily poach top players for nothing.
  4. I've reported this bug over and over for previous edition yet it still hasn't been fixed. I'm quite dissappointed since it's such a simple thing to fix. When you renegotiate the contract of one of your U19 staff members to promote them to your first team, their history doesn't update in the lower panel. This happens to both AI and human teams.
  5. It seems like FM is still struggling to keep up with the mandatory release clauses set in Spain. Trying to renegotiate any contract will ignore the current release clause (the real world one) and apply what FM considers the equivalent. That means that if you have a player with a 8 mil release clause, it will start from 2-3 mil in the contract negotiations. I've met this issue for smaller clubs, but on bigger clubs it gets worse. Real life players for Barcelona and Real Madrid have 500 mil - 1 bil euro clauses. Yet when trying to renegotiate those contracts, the ai completely ignores the existing clause and brings it to FM levels. This creates a huge disadvantage for Spanish clubs, as players can very easily get poached by teams from other leagues.
  6. I've just started a new save in the 3rd division of Spain. Having a 3rd division budget, I'm keen to keep it tight as real life clubs do. It seems like FM doesn't take that into acount in this edition either. It's always been a problem when negotiating contracts for young players with the 'wage after 10 games / wage after 20 games' being there 99/100 times. Very often the wage after 20 games is a lot higher than it should be. In the attached example, I'm renegotiating the contract of a fringe player and the base wage is fairly decent, although higher than the average team wage. But when you look at the wage after 15 and 20 games it's insane - more than triple his current wage, at 328k, which is higher than my highest earner and star player. All this for a backup youngster with decent potential. 20 games is very easy to achieve, it's not like a big target in the future. And it's been the same with all of my other players - A 18 year old striker that's not good enough is asking for 3 times the current wage after 15 games. I haven't tested this out with bigger teams but I will come back with updates once I do.
  7. Playing with the setting in Preferences - Interface - Team landing page - Squad doesn't apply when looking at national teams. It only works for club squads as opposed to previous editions.
  8. I loaded up my FM23 save and the first match I play, everything has shadows coming from 4 directions, including goal posts, corner flags, and players.
  9. Apologies if I may seem biased here but I'm really trying not to. Pedri has been underrated in the previous editions of FM and it seems to be the same in this edition. He's got 162 CA and 176 PA. In comparison, Camavinga - 165 CA and 180 PA Valverde - 168 CA and 175 PA Bellingham - 168 CA and 188 PA There is nothing to indicate that Pedri is below the three players mentioned above, him being constantly praised as one of the best midfielders in the world with potential to reach Xavi and Iniesta's levels. He won the golden boy award more than two years ago. The football world constantly compares Pedri and Bellingham as the next (if not current) top 5 midfielders in the world, yet he's 12 points below Bellignham's PA and he's fighting to reach Valverde levels in the game. It seems to me like there is a Madrid bias in rating these players. Not to mention Modric being the 3rd best midfielder in the game (CA wise) at 37 when he's clearly regressed a lot in the past two years. And also Gaving being way below the 5 players mention even though he's been punching at the same weight, especially this season.
  10. The white on orange highlights on the sidebar are very unaccessible, to the point that it's almost unreadable. If the team took the time to make a hearing aid 3d model it's a bit funny that the very most basic accessibility functions have been ignored.
  11. I'm not sure if this is the right place to complain, but Pedri having lower CA/PA than Camavinga, Valverde and than Bellingham looks like very solid bias from the researchers.
  12. Does the manager standby animation need to restart at every single tick when customizing your manager's face? Who approved this?
  13. B team system is still very flawed, probably the most broken part of the game. Last time I wrote SI about it (bout 3 years now?) they said it's acknowledged and it's in plans for a rework. I refrain from managing in Spain or Germany just because of it
  14. Will there be any patch notes or detailed feature list at launch? Or do we just get the big feature blogs and we have to guess the rest?
  15. Lol you're just making things up - this is definitely a bug and it has been for a few editions, it's not a feature. I called it on the bug tracker a while ago and SI said that it's a known bug. It's not game breaking but it's very annoying. You could make your first signing of the 2024/2025 season and you'll get a message saying you hit the biggest transfer expenditure record in your club's history as it's registered towards the 2023/2024 season.
  16. Has the transfer history finally been fixed? It's been a bug for 4+ years. I don't have FM24 yet so can someone check this for me? The bug was that if a team signs a player in the first weeks of the transfer window, it will show up in the transfer history of the previous window. And also, have they fixed going back and forth transfer history pages taking you to the current year instead of the year you were viewing?
  17. Can confirm, not only with this bug but also the release clasues have not followed real life for some time. Fermin Lopez just got a 400mil release clause in his newest contract IRL and all the big names (Araujo, Pedri Gavi) have clauses of 1 bil nowadays, yet I'm seeing numbers of 100-150 mil max in FM. Even when you renegociate an existing contract the clause goes down from 1 bil to 100-150 mil.
  18. This has been an issue since forever, English money is overpowered but it works even better in FM as other leagues struggle to keep up. La Liga always ends up 5th placed in my long term saves. The B teams system from FM hurts Germany and Spain A LOT as it's basically separating youth prospects into a non-existing, a lot weaker team that doesn't connect to the first team's facilities, coaches and play time. So the prospects don't develop and the first teams resort to **** transfers with the little money they have. Teams like Real Sociedad, known for their basque bias and amazing academy, end up more diverse than Central London and older than a Scorpions concert. Any half-decent prospect that develops to first team material gets immediately poached by the moneybags in the PL, so it's a rinse and repeat situation. Try managing a Spanish giant like Real Madrid or Barcelona some 7 years in - Every 100 CA player in the B team is on €2mil p/a and the first team stars on €20mil p/a. It's impossible they win anything long-term. Edit: I just checked and Real Madrid are paying a 19 year old academy player with 4 sub apps to the first team €4.87 mil p/a, and another one €4.95 mil p/a. Gavi is on €34.5 mil p/a. Atletico are paying a 27 year old of 145 CA (checked with editor) that they signed for €45 mil a grand €37.24 mil p/a.
  19. This has always been a problem, and I'm very dissappointed that it hasn't been fixed in FM24.
  20. I just used the tip and got myself a key, thanks. Do you only get the key once the game is out? I'm geting a bad gateway when I try to claim the key
  21. This shows once again that SI does listen to community feedback. Half of the new features described are things myself and others constantly described or ran experiments for in feedback channels and they're actually fixing most of it. Youth development was strongly flawed in FM23, but it seems like it's going to be fixed. As the final version of 'classic' FMs, FM24 is shaping to be the best version yet.
