    I was just buying players and simulating through the season, this is not a serious save. Wonderkids might be better long-term but I needed players that could make an impact right away so I could test the tactic

    Sadly I don't have the save from the second season anymore... I was just buying some players each window and simulating through the season, so I deactivated the auto save. These screenshots are from the third season, which is when I saved and stopped testing. We were poor in the PL but we got to the final 8 on CL after finishing 2nd (!!!) in that new format. Basically the top 3 contributed (G+A) a similar amount of goals

    Changed my mind and ran another season with Brentford with 451 P109. Brought Fred, van de Beek, Bamba and Lucas Vazquez 2nd tier is not playable so probably this is the reason the relegated teams were so bad. Also lifted the EFL Cup and got to the final of Europa League after getting 3rd in the CL group behind Benfica and PSG This is my favorite tactic until now, I would recommend this to anyone lost looking for a plug and win tactic

    With 85% zoom they overlap too... It was normal yesterday and I haven't changed anything lol

    Yep sadly it did. Of course still a very good season (4th on PL, semi final on both cups and assman won coach of the year) but I feel it can be better without the WC, so I'm thinking about testing it again with a promoted team in the 23-24 season

    The 451 P107 (IF on the left, W on the right) got me my best defensive season until now on my test save with Real Madrid. I will soon test this new P109 one because I prefer not to have the winger role. This is the 23/24 season and the changes were selling Vini and buying Bellingham and Musiala.

    Does anyone have anything in mind about this? I'm basically looking for a column that indicates which squad the player is assigned so I can export the entire roster at once and automate everything in Excel

    Is it possible to create columns on Squad views by skinning? I really wanted a "Playing squad" column to quickly see if a player is assigned to the B team, U21s, U19s... This way I could export it to Excel and organize a Best XI for each of my squads. I really don't want to export all squads one by one

    I tested the 451 W P110 with Brentford after the full release and I think the results show it still works...

    By FB I mean the position, not the role. My idea was to change the left back role from WB-A to WB-S because he can't do much attacking wise

    Talking about both FBs on WB-S... I'll try this one later on tonight with an underdog and post my results. Probably will change the mentality to Positive though

    If my LB is really limited for this WB-A role, is it worth to swap both FBs and Wingers around or should I just keep both FBs on WB-S?

    I really enjoyed reading your ideas behind each tactic, this is certainly a thread I'll be keeping an eye on for the next few months. I love the idea of having multiple variants for each tactic for those who like a hands-on approach to the game. As someone who prefers the hiring/developing/selling/moving on approach, I tend to focus on instant results to make things faster and be able to play multiple saves. I don't know if you have tested this tactics on holiday/IR but I'll do soon, using the home/away variants 😁

    I tried to do something like that on FM21 and although I haven't tried U16s the best setup I found was having 4 teams: A, B, U21 and U18s. It gives enough gametime to everyone to develop as much as they can. My thinking is that U16s will be useless because basically only the most recent youth intake would be able to play in it. Alternatively you could try experimenting A, B, U21, U19 and U17. Also changing the age of the youth intake players will just make them take more time to reach their full potential so I don't think it's that benefitial for the challenge

    Only files I needed for FM22 were DaveTheEditor's leagues megapack and DaveIncid's realism files. I don't know if they are doing it again for the 23 but they are your best options
