FA Cup 3rd Round in Decemeber

Yeah, it happens most seasons. The 3rd round is spread over a week and starts around New Years eve/ New years Day and finishes around it's normal scheduled date (first Saturday in January). The usual Christmas league fixtures are being moved to accommodate. In my current season (2033/34) I didn't have a boxing day match or a match between Christmas/New Year because of the cup. The League cup 3rd round does this too. The 3rd round is split with half being played at the end of August immediately after the 2nd round and the other half mid September. As a result the matches get squeezed together and I've had to play 9 league games in February and April. Whilst no matches are been played in May (other than Playoffs and Premier League). -
It gets worse the longer into a save you go.

Wait until you're 6 or 7 seasons in. You'll be playing your FA cup 3rd round game on new year's eve.

I'm a fair few seasons in at this point but I've noticed all the fixtures sliding to the left slightly each year and now the FA cup 3rd round is now being played in December, a day before New Years Eve.

BWM with Stay Wider PI lumbs together

The job of a BWM is to win the ball. So if the ball is in the middle of the pitch then that's where they'll operate. Having two seems counter productive as both will be fighting each other for the ball -
To be fair I dread going two nil up or having a two goal cushion because it usually means I'll lose 3-2 or draw 2-2. As soon as the second goes in, the midfield literally forget how to pass the ball.

I agree keeper injuries are still an issue, especially when playing a match. It can be horrendous in non league where you only get 5 subs so you'll never pick a sub keeper. It's happened to me 3 times in two seasons on the same save, team, player and injury.

Yes that's what I thought, however the money is already available to spend via my transfer budget, but the club are in debt as you can see through the clubs finances. If the transfer goes through in June then surely that's when my transfer budget will change. You can't spend money that isn't there. The club hasn't received the money yet.

Just sold a young player to a larger team but asked for the transfer to complete at the end of the season. Once the transfer was confirmed the full transfer amount was allocated to my budget, however the club balance wasn't adjusted to show the increase in money and the transfer isn't present on the balance sheet as revenue. I'm still in January so won't find out until the summer to see if my club will actually get the money, but it's odd that the game has given me the cash as transfer budget straight away that I can now spend. It's also worth noting that the buying club offered me a loan back and I accepted as I believed I would be getting the player back for the following season without the cost of his wages. Maybe this sequence of events has messed with the game somehow? I've uploaded a save file from before the transfer confirmation and some screenshots.

This is quite frankly shocking. I just can't play the game I used to love. The game is unplayable. It's like its scripted to happen or something. After it happened the first time, I started a fresh save and this happens Catching the ball AGAIN! Please fix this! Please.... This time I've attached a save file.

As you can see from the screenshots, my team are in a lot of dept and I now have a negative scout budget. I no longer have an active scout range but my scouts continue to go to work finding players, further increasing the negative budget. Surely all scouting should stop until I tell them otherwise. I can't spend money I've not got on wages or transfers but somehow the scouts can run up a massive bill despite me telling them not too. How they've spent 40k in only a couple of months is beyond me and this in itself seems excessive and needs tweaking, especially in the lower leagues.

They were playing at home. Had plenty of chances, whereas Southampton created very little with the possession they had. And Southampton weren't 3 nil up with half an hour to play. Also it didn't repeat the following week(s).

It's the frequency in which it happens. Plus I've never seen a team come back from 3 down with only 26% possession. The issue is that the opposition AI shoot and score from wherever they like. They didn't even have a clear cut chance

I'm not even mad anymore. I just expect this to happen now on a regular basis, it doesn't seem to matter what level you're playing at. I know this can happen in football, but not to the same team, again and again and again. This is how the devs want FM24 I suppose. They're going backwards.
