  1. you'll often find the config file in the same folder as the graphics and there needs to be a line added for the new stuff, but it will make sense once you find it and open it
  2. it is not really a skinning issue, but if you are talking about Create a club. Then there are something speciel that has to be ticked to be able to have custom stuff to work. if it's not create a club, then you have to make sure that you've edited the config file aswell.. in anyway, you've better off asking places where things like that is discussed. places like fmscout or sortitoutsi

Glad it worked about the roundup, if you already have a skin where it is as you like it, you could try and locate the file in the 1st skin and then copy it to the second, the naming is still more or less the same from fm21 so the file should load in after a clear cache and a reload skin. i can't remember the name of the file on top of my head, - But probably something with transfer roundup in it. or something along those lines

I believe that the this exact panel is pulled from the default game starting with match touchline tablet slot container and the shown team stats might be match team stats full floating - which also is pulled from the default game So you would have to extract the files from the game and copy them to the match folder to be able to see the effect of the edit you'll do

  7. When you make your own skin, you can make the choice to keep or remove the translation id's Ben is in his full right to remove or keep them, as this started as a Skin for his personal use. He might have done things differently if he knew then what he know now.

Why go into skins when you can just roam in the language file where "almost" all translation id's are. beside that, what people might not know or have forgotten is the whole reason behind the removal of translations id's in the first place So it won't be long before the people that wants to translate it into another language will come running with broken panels due to length of words in another language etc. But Ben already explained this and if i remember correct, also said that he would not give support in fixing broken panels.
  9. ahhh fair point and i'm not sold on the gap either after looking at it more and more.

Been looking abit more into the code and can tell that if you change horizontal_gap="0" to horizontal_gap="1" in the line just before eache group of attributes, you'll get the gap which in my opinion makes sense to have as each line consist of 3 attributes. atleast thats how i've made it as i like it better with the gap Just thought i would drop a little update.   17. Changing font and size will always mess with panels, spacing etc. titlebar, is probably where you should look. without knowing where you exactly mean
  18. The "name" can be anything you want more or less. Lets say you want the "blue" on your graphics to be orange, you can either just do orange but if you know that you'll have multiply places where you want to give it a specific colour, just name it like colour1 and in the settings file, you create a colour1 that has a value of orange
