Is it possible to have my WB think pass before crossing the ball? I'm playing WB with Att role

I will get a message saying that certain player is used to playing a more direct game. Does that refer to his passing? If so I assume I change it in the player instructions?

I'm planning on scheduling friendlies weekly to keep my younger ( < 22 years) prospects in game shape. The teams that are available are lower than my team rep (Roma) Does the level of opponent impact their development or simply playing regularly help to achieve their potential?

I just bought Vlahovic and he has the “plays with back to goal” trait. What role/position would increase his chances to score and best suit that trait? I play a 4231 tactic with shirt passing and possession a tiki taka.

My scouts updates just informed me that my WB wonderkid Califiore is now currently playing at a Serie B level! I had him out on loan for a couple of years did I screw up his development?

I'm wondering if anybody has had players that are very good but, based on their attributes, shouldn't be as good as they are?

I assume that there is a difference and one is in match specific and the other is overall. If I see that a player is losing sharpness during the game do I keep them in or should I sub them?

I'm assuming that if you play a team that likes to work the ball through the middle you would set the team instructions to "force them to the outside". Would you also set you defensive width to narrow or will that counteract the force to the outside instruction? conversely if an opposing team likes to play wide do you force them to the inside?

I wondering if this is typical in FM. I had a very successful 2nd season with Roma in Serie A. Won the League title with 5 games to spare, semi final loss to Man U in Champions League and lost to Juve in Coppa Italia Final. I was on a winning streak of 17 games but then it seemed the team started playing crap. I let in more goals than typical and wasn’t able to score any more. I wasn’t even playing top four teams in the league… seems like my players went on vacation before the end of the season. My only changes were allowing some of the less used players to play. I rotated my squad heavily during the season. The most games any player played was 34 games. I did have some injuries and some of my better players weren’t in top match sharpness but the difference was very noticeable in the team’s play. I just couldn’t score any more, XG typically 2.5-3, and my defense got leaky. Have you had the same experience if so what can be done to avoid this?

I'm about to enter transfer season and want to upgrade certain positions where my players are already pretty good. I tend to use the scout star ratings and how they compare to my other players for the same position. I'm not sure how accurate that is. How do you decide if a player is an upgrade to what you already have?

I agree I wasn't able to delete that demand when negotiating.

In order to sign a player I had to promise him that I would play him in his preferred DL position (was non negotiable) but my tactic uses WB (which he's a natural). Is there a way for me to discuss this with him or do I need to wait until he becomes unhappy?

I was wondering when looking at a player's positions and whether he's natural, accomplished etc and the amount of stars for each role is that determined by a scout? If so should the scout have high judging player ability and tactical attributes to get the most accurate idea about the player's best position/role?

Is there a way for me to see how much a player's attributes have numerically improved or decreased in FM21?

I used the in game editor and terminated the contract of the current manger. Then you have to apply for the position and hope you get it. Good luck!

I used to be able to see during games a word description of how each player was playing. Something like "Playing Ok" for example. I can no longer see it and can't figure what it is in the "customize current view " drop down menu. Any ideas?

I'd like to introduce a new tactic that's related to my primary tactic. When is the best time to start using in order to decide if I t will work for my team?

I'd like to know the level of knowledge each of my staff has about my players and tactics etc. I looked in the coach's profile but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm playing FM 21 with Tato skin.

Is there a way for me to see transfer bids that I started? I'm bidding on a number of players and they don't seem to show up in the transfer page. Is it just a matter of me making my own written reminder?
