  1. The game doesn’t cheat it’s percentage of chance of winning you can tweak stuff and modify strategy it raise your chance but will never be 100% and in a roll of dice even if you are 80% winning you can still lose If you save and reload and are patient enough you can win all matches if the si cheated that would be impossible
  2. Anybody know why when i play on my laptop i can set friendly match any day of the week and when i play on my desktop it's fix only to Wednesday and Saturday same exact save (on cloud) I open the file 5 minutes apart
  3. In the tactic sheet, I would like to be able to put a second person in the same location as the "preferred substitution." It would be similar to the concept of a squad planner, where you put more than one person per location (but in this case, only 1 favorite substitution) it would be especially useful when you manage all three teams (including U20-U18). They don't have a squad planner and are a lot of names to remember. It would be much easier if I get a visual hint of who is MY favorite substitution for that player and not my assistant-coach preference eheheh
  4. i will look for it i think I saved after don't think I have it before let me check
  5. I finished playing begin of May, no more matches, and my promise was green unfortunately, the promise lasted until 30 May and there was no match, so I didn't play my youth for 2-3 weeks it failed, but I couldn't play as the team was already on vacation Promises should end when Season end, not to a set date that includes playoff or other stuff, because if you don't have a playoff you will fail no matter what
  6. The game can be easy if you want it to be and can be hard if you decide to make it hard. You can challenge yourself or you can do everything possible to win easily it's honestly up to you is a single game you can even reload before a match till you win. Not sure I ever understand that question in a single game where you control everything. Is D&D too easy depends on the dungeon master the game is a tool and you can use it as you want there is not only one-way min/max to play it.
  7. Yep, I agree when a player is "closer" to me, I would expect him to come to me with problems or advice or question (maybe even a chance to change his role in some instances) rather than me having to go and look for him in the discussion tab. I am close to the captain; he will come to me and tell me something will happen before any other sign of it comes up, someone is upset or whatever... Maybe when you schedule a team-bonding session, you have a % of chance that on that day, a window will pop up with something similar to a team meeting (different background). You get to boost tight relationships between certain players. Maybe if the players are playing together, that will help to create the solid green lines of small things like that, but that means something.
  8. I think it is for the RP part of the game they are not meant to mean anything. Overall they should make them more useful like: 1) instead of giving us a set "rivalry" team, we could start with not rivalry and create them in PR rivalry should give a boost to your team morale before you face them and another if you win 2) allow you to pick the player of the game you select creating (player of the game should be tight to some reward to the player and extra morale boost for that player for 1 or 2 weeks) 3) if you pick a player that didn't play that well or has favoritism, other players could get upset 4) Bring up board promises or assumed promises to push their had to do something you requested with the risk of them fining you or getting mad at you 5) bring up the sponsor in the chat for an extra cash price which may upset journalists and stuff These are just some little things that actually mean something for the mechanics of the game.
  9. I did something similar even if not that extreme with Palermo and practically went up first season. At which point all players wanted new contract I sold them all (or put them on transfer list so they are happy even if I don't give them a contract) and tried to get only 15-23 y/o players I definitely won't win series A will try to stay afloat 2 year with small budget keep asking the board to raise it every month and build a team of young player That's the only solution I found I got offer to train much richer team but I want to stick with palermo
  10. chatGPT is good for making the talk, but the problem would be to evaluate the result of the chat and make it influence part of the games (like player morals or sponsors or board attitude toward you and fans) (not that anything right now is better than just pure waste of time) but if you go to the extent of using AI to make the "chat" part of the game, you should go the extra step and make it influence actively part of the game, and that seems tricky since whatever chatGPT generate is not static and cannot be evaluated easily into point system or something that can then work with the math of the game. on the other hand If you talk only about "fluff" that look good but mean nothing game-wise chatGDP would work great for Roleplay yep.
  11. Life is not math, but the game is math, so if they want the game to resemble life, they need to hide the math to look like life. If they tell you the math, the game won't work anymore, and it will be an exercise is calculation.
  12. it's an option in the STAFF the MATCH specific - toward the bottom of the options "that automatically allows you to assign out of shape player to U18/U20/U21"
  13. I guess some people never had to play board games or other stuff. In a game where there is no control or AI that forces you into something then, you have to be honest and play the right way to make the game challenging. Yeah, you can play D&D and give your character the best stats; nobody honestly going to stop you or fake the dice with all numbers 20 on the faces. Or snoop the possible various option before choosing which one to pick. Some people are spoiled by the fact they never had to actually try to play fair to have fun. To want to use all possible tactics to make it easier and than be able to go on the forum and brag is too easy... to each his own.
  14. i play in 2d light look just fine
  15. We won't get an answer, but in doubt, I would say get as many and as good as you can, no? In doubt I always try to get the best possible stuff I can I wonder why people always try to cheap it out especially in you leave stuff in automatic you want to have them to be the best possible.
  16. So true! the difficulty is made by the payer itself, the game can only do so much (some people save and restart each time they don't like the result, there are people that start with the strongest team, and so on) but I have to say that, to an extent, the choice a human can make vs. the AI (especially if you handle many factors from training to tactic to morale and so on) does affect the % chance of victory quite a bit (making the human OP if you know what u are doing). A lot of people measure the game over a very limited sample of experiences. This makes it look like one thing and the opposite I set up a game, went on vacation for the season with the exact team 100 times (still a small sample I know), and I got all types of results from 2 places (my team was average-high in a secondary league) to recession to getting fired halfway (I never got last or first, and averaged most of the time 6-9 position) Then I played myself the full season 3 times (super limited sample but it takes a long time) and got 1st two out of 3 and, the 3rd time, still qualified for promotion, but over playoff. I feel that if you control many aspects of the game, you can easily outdo the AI by quite a bit, especially in the lower league where the value of the coach and stuff is on the orange/white area.
  17. Two online persistent worlds: (piratically a MMO FM24) 1 match per day - 7 matches a week - (1 season last more or less 6/8 Weeks) 1 match every 2 days - 3/4 match a week (1 season last 12/14 Weeks) (the starting of the servers could be staggered and have a duplicate server to have always a league restart every 1/2 weeks) **Players always need to start from the lowest tier-league **Players can hop in at any time. They will Replace the current AI head coach (that will get fired) **Normal League: Players WILL NOT attend the match directly; they set up a detailed "match plan." **International Cups - Players MAY play the online full game (if players can't be online he will just send a "match plan," and AI will take over)
  18. there is still a manager in the match you select it under staff/responsibilities if you assign a guy to pep talks and touchline instruction with High People motivation and high tactical knowledge and you assign a guy to Opposition instruction with high tactical knowledge as well as set up specific Match Plan you can still be quite in control or at least hope that the people you hired does a decent job limiting the possible "good" influence of a full match down to a 5/10% max of better result so I don't think there is that much more luck my decision are 50% done in the match plan and 50% left to competent (supposedly) replacements.
  19. I played the exact match 4 times in a row: instant-match with the same team and the same match plan, and I got 4 different results 1 lost, 1 won, and two draws. In this case, I understand the 2 teams were probably quite similar in strength, but then it feels like it's all about luck. You can improve your chance by 5% or 10% if you tweak something here and there, but you can actually lose to a much weaker team if you are just unlucky. I know it is like real life, but I am not sure I am crazy about my game to be like real life. it feels like it should be a little bit less "about luck." Or at least at the end of the game, I would like to see a value that is the value of morale+sharpness+condition+ability of my team vs. the other team (below the score) a hard number where I can compare the apple to apple the 2 team my team had a matching value of 12400 their team had a matching value of 11000 the match ended 2-0 or 1-1 whatever at least I know where I stand. Luck is okay after all but some hard number is always much appreciated
  20. I save the game sometimes before a match and if I replay it 10 times I wins some I lose some and some are even how it be scripted if I get every time a different result? and that using the same exact team and instant match so I really can't control anything of during the game let me make some screenshots I run exact same team with instant result and the same tactic 4 times and got 4 different result if anything I think this game is too random you could save before each match and win them all just reloading and trying again it should be a little bit more scripted as if your team is really weaker you should have only 1o r 2% chance of winning (that is probably the case of that saved match I guess it never happened to me)
  21. Hi I was hiring 2 staff one I made a contract for technical director the other I hired him sport director they both agree but once i accepted the first sport director the second technical director got automatically refused by the board as they said I couldn't hire more than 1 sport director than I double checked and I did have in the contract to hire him as Technical director but every time he come back to me to answer (I tried a few time) he always switch the contract automatically to sport director and by the way in the quick filtering system and as title you cannot look for lead scout only scout the trick is to change from the scroll out menu when you actually making the offer I think lead scout is missing in the table of titles
