  1. Bug is logged, they don't really bother with internationals though. Is it still bugged where players won't regain match fitness between games if they're on holiday in their club season? I *think* Qatar 2022 has "specific stadia" set (can't see that though). So maybe it's a separate template and possible to duplicate it and have the default stuff kick in 4 years later. I guess if we're doing any big nation-building projects we'll have to rebuild it all anyway
  2. I assume you're the reason the old NASL franchises had so many details already filled out in the editor, lol, thought it was time to bring them to life! Nice to have the Cosmos and the Aztecs facing off
  3. Brilliant. To get them consistently playing the upper fixture (of the two offset dates) I *think* you can use the stage flag/other stage flag of "don't randomize teams when scheduling" or something like that and have them as the top seed/first drawn. This might need testing. But I think it's a way to get your host playing the opening game, playing at Stadium 0 every matchday while the other group game is at a smaller stadium, stuff like that
  4. Cymru/Alba 2026 sounds cool! You can use seedings and team order too to make sure Scotland or Wales are A1 and play the opening game at MIllennium or Hampden as well, with the other team in Group D or whatever with a mostly at-home path to the final
  5. That's the ticket. Offset dates seem the most reliable. You can also use "ask competition neutral (exclude home)" and it will pick from the stadium pool as well. But looks like you're on track!
  6. Teams are also just drawn in the order they're listed if there are no other variables at play. So make sure to uncheck "randomize teams", "reverse order of teams in this list" etc. Don't "sort teams" by anything. Then under group draw rules, remove them all, so no seeded draw etc
  7. Even then I think there are hard-coded rules about wages and rep. Or at least AI won't play by the same rules all the time. In my 1978 DB I ended up just taking whatever their annual salary was reported as back then and making it their weekly wage now. Bizarrely it actually corresponded pretty well to modern salaries
  8. Have you tried offset dates for each date, with each offset date set at a specific stadium? And go through all the settings to make sure it doesn't say "neutral" or "home" somewhere (round defaults, stage general etc) Edit: also sounds like you may not be going to the drop down in the details at the bottom for each entry and picking the option "specific stadium" before selecting one? That's why it's not actually showing up
  9. You can specify specific group "dates" to have more control over fixture scheduling. And stadiums - stadium 0 will correspond to the first stadium under "stadium pool"
  10. SI have released a game in November of a December World Cup year and have a) used the wrong WC schedule and b) put 2026 at the wrong stadia. Yeah. As far as I can tell, they've just mucked up the 2022 team order, Qatar playing their opener against Senegal etc. Can we change the order using "registered teams" for 2022 somehow? I'm looking at it but it's not clear how those numbers correspond to the order/seeding. I'd rather not change too much. In 2026, it looks like it's just doing "stadium 5" or whatever instead of the actual top stadia. Canada and Mexico are playing in US stadia as well so we need to change that. Can we just duplicate the tournament so 2030 runs as normal, and 2026 has games at "specific stadiums" with Can/Mex/USA only be able to be drawn in certain groups? Any time I've tried to make small changes like that it seems to break qualifying, hosting, everything, is there a way around that?
  11. Was beyond rattled to sim to 2026 and see Canada playing their World Cup group games at Arrowhead Stadium. F*cking SI can't even use the stadia in the bid book? I might have to redo the World Cup in the editor just for that, I realize it's a tiny thing but I always want my Canada career games to end up managing them at a WC. edit: this isn't due to the Megapatch, which is brilliant, just a general comment about managing Canada in the default FM
  12. Team order looks off in 2022. Qatar opening against Senegal etc. In 2026, Canada and Mexico are playing their group games in the US. They will almost certainly be seeded in groups with at least one home game.
  13. Yeah I'm not entirely sure why they participated, they ended up withdrawing due to COVID infections anyway. I feel like Mali might have been invited too? Can't recall. But you're right, the 22 UAFA teams (same members as the Arab League) are more than enough
  14. Nice work. South Sudan aren't Arab/UAFA btw, they just got invited to participate in the qualifiers in Qatar this year to make up the numbers. Still nice to have, if you're going invited teams then Madagascar, Niger, and Uzbek/Tajik have all been invited to the youth tourney before as well, so implies some degree of willingness to participate. Could also see Maldives taking an invite, I think that was discussed at one point
  15. I wish there was an option to move games based on who's involved in continental qualifying. Or is there one someone? I wouldn't mind the old Portuguese system, your game gets moved to Friday if you're in CL next week and moved to Monday if you're in CL the previous week (game wouldn't be moved at all if you had a CL game both weeks)
  16. Can you rebuild AFC continental comps with coefficients now? Or would you just have to set in stone the current numbers (4 teams from Japan etc)
  17. Dates are all messed up lately, game wants to front-load fixtures contrary to your dates, I think it's a bug. I've had luck blocking off those first weeks (Monday to Friday or whatever) with "break periods" and checking the box not to allow postponed games to be held either. Prevents any games from being scheduled there
  18. You might not wanna hear this but best thing to do is just wipe LAFC's details and repopulate it with your 49ers info. Copy and paste job even. That way it's the same unique ID (can manually change player histories if you like, relatively short history), and you won't break anything in MLS like the draft, international slots, Designated Playrer rules, wage cap etc. You'd be taking LAFC's spot in the league wholesale. Keeps all the funny MLS stuff intact edit: although the issue might be "registered teams"? Not sure, just replacing LAFC the way I just described is probably best to keep draft picks etc
  19. As usual, my goal is to replicate the IRL format down to kick-off times and stadia. If you spot anything that looks off let me know. South Africa almost always host the COSAFA Cup here, rotating between different cities. Main download also includes: CECAFA Cup Indian Ocean Island Games and African Games WAFU Nations Cup COSAFA U-20 Cup and CECAFA U-20 Cup ...and more DOWNLOAD (backup) | LOGOS Challenge thread Copa América/Gold Cup/CNL fix (details) (backup) Baltic Cup and more (details) (backup) Arab cups (backup) | Arab youth cups (backup) | SAFF (backup) | WAFF (backup) TMC Megapack Please upvote here and rate on Steam if you are enjoying the databases (or not!) For int'l jobs to be available, at game start load (for example, for the COSAFA and CECAFA cups) international players from Southern and Eastern Africa (and Maldives and Sudan), and for the WAFU 'B' teams you can consider adding players from top clubs or higher in West Africa. 20. Nice. Non-FIFA dates might just have problems with call-ups outside of that country's domestic league, the game used to do that for CHAN so it would default to all non-FIFA date tourneys. Not sure if that's still active. You can have variable qualifying rules (to switch up the hosts w/o having a drop down spot) by having separate "editions" of the tournament. Same rules, just duplicated, with like a 2024 tournament on an 8 year rotation and a 2028 tournament on an 8 year rotation. One could be for N.A. hosts, other for S.A., and just duplicate the qualifying the same way. Obviously then make minor adjustments to the qualifying and rules of the 2028 one to accommodate the change. Ultimately it's a lot of work and your system is great anyway. I always want to keep things tidy but end up doing duplicated comps like this (game treats it the same as normal in-game) for tighter control over scheduling, stadiums, etc, even having co-hosts (I think in 2018 I had it hosted one year in the Caribbean with Jam/T&T seeded and an edition in Central America with each big team hosting a group)
  21. Sweet, love the integration with existing tournaments. I always liked keeping the 10 CONMEBOL nations in my joint Copas - couldn't stomach the idea of kicking them out, lol - and an invited team like I mentioned in the other thread. But your system is so detailed and fleshed out I'll likely use it instead. Did you manage to use existing FIFA dates for any extra games like CONMEBOL Nations League and the playoffs?
  22. You could make it so anyone qualifying for Copa America sends their B team. Just "ignore teams" that qualify and then in the list of teams just use "backup team type" as B team or u23
  23. Might just add that you can go into England's "records" for highest scoring game etc and change the old "Ireland pre-1922" entry to Northern Ireland if you like (same FA), so it doesn't show up as your created nation. Think Scotland and Wales might have records against them too
  24. @shortysan86 yeah here you go: https://www.mediafire.com/file/usqp0wgrjz1q3ra/Old_Firm_in_England.fmf/file @HurkaDurk69 what happens to Cardiff and Wrexham in the default game if they qualify for Europe? Is the game hardcoded to allow Welsh homegrowns?
