Popular Post XaW
Liver Academy - Season 2022/23 Review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances So initially, the step up seemed really hard, and we really struggled initially, but then we found our footing and started picking up points. So we slowly crawled up the table as the season went on, and towards the end we were in a battle for 2nd against Wythenshawe Town. None could catch up to Stockport Town who had ran away with things earlier. A rough few matches saw us just drop behind Wythenshawe Town in the end, but I'll take a 3rd! We played in the FA Vase this season and beat Irchester United before losing to North Shields in the 2nd qualifying round. We also played in the North West Counties League Cup this season where we beat Chester Nomads before losing to Nelson in the 2nd round.
DazRTaylor
End of Season Review Season 2042/43 SV Babberich League Table - Considering how many players we lost, I am delighted we finished League Fixtures 1 & 2 - Overall, we were fairly consistent and I have no complaints about our league campaign this year. That said, we did finish the season very poorly. TOTO KNVB Beker - We made it through to the first round before losing convincingly at top division FC Twente. Pre Season Friendlies - A poor pre season saw us only win one of our six games. Squad - My squad has been decimated by the moronic chairman, so the depth is lacking. Squad Dyanmics - Good enough, especially after so many departures. Transfers In - None. Transfers Out 1 & 2 - The first screenshot is the players who were sold before the season ticked over. The second is since then. Eighteen players were sold for transfer fees and seventeen of them were all done over my head. Youth Candidates - An ok intake, with centre back Alex Dijkstra YP43A337 looking like the best player this year. Finances - We are back in the red, despite all of the player sales. I may need to cash in on the sell on clauses again. Key Players Ebbe Loermans YP36J234 - Another strong season from the central midfielder. Elias Souris YP37H248 - The versatile midfielder can play anywhere on the left wing or in central midfield and had a great first season as first choice. Marc Chapman YP36B226 - The goalkeeper has taken over from long time number one Olivier van Brakel YP23B18 and to be honest, we haven't missed van Brakel at all. Nick Hoek YP40G295 - Still only a teenager, the youngster is an automatic selection on the right wing. Ivanildo Fer YP41B306 - The best player at the club, the centre half developed really well this season. I fully expect my chairman to sell him for 34p and a packet of crisps. Next Season We so many players leaving, I think a season of consolidation is in order. vikeologist
Vikeologist's 16th Folkestone Intake Report (and 12th Intake Review) After facilities improvements this season across the board, I was hoping for a better intake, but our top prospect is a goalie, which isn’t much use. As for the other top taggeds, they’ll need to exceed expectations to get any more than a sniff of first team action, but it can happen. Only going to offer proper (part-time) contracts to the top 4 though. Generally speaking, I only keep 4 star potentials or better on after 18. Oskar Misiak 16b – Has the most current ability, although that’s not saying much. If anyone’s going to make it, I’d expect it to be him. YP12 Review Jamie Anthony 12a – A defender who the board sold over my head to Hull for less money than I negotiated subsequently with other teams. Currently on loan in Serbia, and the one and only academy graduate to become a full international, (for Hungary). A big loss to our team. Daniel Pemberton 12b – A goalie with 5 star potential who’s never made a first team appearance. Should probably be the sub goalie though, and so will be from now on. The 12c was a left back who’s out of football already. Nathan Bird 12d – A defensive midfielder I’ve turned into a too short central defender. He’s played almost 100 matches and was our starter last season, but never really developed enough, and is probably out of chances now. Alwayne Holness 12e – A central midfielder who developed quietly and was there when I needed a replacement at the start of this season. So, he’s a starter now, and is 3 star current ability. That makes him on paper the 4th best player at the club, and will probably be a 1st team fixture for quite while. Simon Gray 12f – Is 3rd on the depth chart striker, and due to my top striker being injured, was a starter for the first half of the season where he did really quite well, but serious question marks around whether he can improve much beyond his current level.

AlwaysNalah
So Season 5 and 6 are in the bag and finally things are moving along, the core of the squad is 20-21 now and far more consistent, we are still a fairly average squad that is expected to go down, but there are 2-3 decent players coming through which could push us up the table along with the beast that is Ross Bird - the absolute legend. Season 5 This season should have been the end, challenge over, we were dire, the absolute worst, our top scorer was the original Holis with..... 3. We got destroyed at the end of the season, but survived literally by the skin of our teeth to go again and build on what I thought would be a much better team in season 6. One issue we do have is that for the first 5 intakes i signed everyone, the squad was so bad that every prospect was 4-5* which mean the wage budget was out of control and at the end of season 6 we are releasing almost 30 players, including the last 2 remaining originals Holis and midfielder Minx. Holis was our only useable striker for a long time, but had determination, which is useless when we were often behind in games he just fell apart and was totally lost, along with not having the right mentals/pace to break through lines when we managed to get a ball over the top. See below our last 5 games of the season 2-12, how we survived I will never know. We had another 4 players poached the list is getting fairly long now of sell on clauses - I have checked them all no-one great yet so do not think we will ever see any money. As a fairly funny aside in season 5 I noticed my hometown team Leicester had been through 4 managers already in the save and Kolo Toure was racking up stints as Caretaker boss! Took Cont A and Pro HOYD was Professional after this and season 6 he was sacked due to to many unambitious, whilst good for a club like us for players not to want to go anywhere I have changed to determined as I need players who can reach their potential through sheer hard work. (Unambitious might be great for us though we are 1.8 mil in the red so might go bust soon! unless the takeover thats been reported for 6 months finally triggers) Cleiton does seem like he could be good, the only problem being the 5 best players at the club are all CB! Again ignore the 5*, its a low bar to get 5* for Blansko So Season 5 was a write off - on to season 6.... One thing I have done this year is not use IR - I have been using for the games against the better teams for the last 5 seasons as I was focusing on the games to survive, but the AI brings on the best players from the bench each and every game and now I have a settled first 11 I need that sub time to be used for development on a rotational basis, it made the season longer but is worth it in the long haul. Lets do my first ever recap of the cup - we beat 2! Top tier teams to get to the Quarter finals, how I do not know, I think the high workrate and determination are helping plus a few good big game players, in the last 8 we drew one of the big boys and we were destroyed 37 shots on goal! It was a fun ride, 2 games from Europe. In the league we were bang average which is great, exactly what we want, we drew alot of games, as you will see in a minute all my best players are defender which means we are fairly tight at the back but struggle to break forward a lot, the ball often gets lost in midfield and my back line end up having to clear it into nowhere. The midifield is still somewhere I need a couple more players, but most of my many many wingers do not have the ability to be retrained in to a central role. Our highest finish in 6 years, yeah I know terrible but progress is progress, ps look at the fouls column as you can see we are still inviting far too much pressure on to us and the games we are winning are from our poacher beast. Offered the Nat team job Best players at the club all in the back line - apologies for my weird squad view its something im playing with Forgot to take a picture of the intake! it was poor one, with only one goalkeeper who stood out, but 6 unambitious again, HOYD sacked the day after, none of them will be getting near the first team, which shows how bad it was. And finally Ross Bird - new top goal scorer with 10 - is he a world beater - no - but he will ine 2-3 years be the players that shoots us up to the top division I am sure of it, he is only almost 17 and still has a little bit of growth (I hope a lot of our 5* seem to have low ceilings) So as we head in to season 7, we are looking positive, yes we are broke, but the game usually fixes that, yes we still have really poor everything, but it is building. Strange but our top goalscorer and av rating from season 5 were not in the team for season 6 so who knows what changes are next. shaunvamos
Well, we definitely fared better than the last time we were in the Superettan. I changed the formation to a more logical version of the 4-4-2 and it worked wonders, as we broke the league goal scoring record. It also did nothing to shore up our defence, as we also broke the record for most goals conceded in a season (breaking the record set by us two seasons ago). But I think we are onto a solid foundation that just needs to be built, and survival this season was integral to that. Our young players are developing nicely, our junior coaching is now maxed out, and our youth recruitment is finally being upgraded. The horizon is full of positives. Youth Intake Auron Halili 6A - William Mohammed 6B - Anton Jansson 6C Our first intake with maxed out junior coaching was a good one, as we get 2 players straight into the first team. Despite Halili's excellent star rating, his attributes make him a clear second string player. Perfect indicator to never completely trust the star rating. Mohammed looks really quick already, and hopefully his technical abilities will develop to compliment that. But the player making the most immediate impact on the side is Jansson 4C, who is leaps and bounds better than our current LB. Adam Magnusson 3K - Samuel Svensson - Emil Johansson 4J* Magnusson was essential in goal, without him we probably would've conceded another 20 or 30 goals. Svensson is not a starting striker, but he was rotated in and out of the squad to keep everyone fresh and he was excellent when he was called upon. But I think the spotlight should be on Emil Johansson, who I didn't even look at until this season. Serie A U18 teams were sniffing around him, so I had a closer look at him, and changed the formation to give him a shot at LM. He was insane, scoring 7 and assisting another 16. Hopefully I can hold onto him. Transfers Record Breakers Progress

Popular Post shaunvamos
This was an excellent season, and it all comes down to the start we had, which I thought was too good to be true. We eventually settled down, but it became pretty clear that we would be in with a shot at promotion, which we ultimately fell short of. But that doesn't worry me. We broke the season scoring record again, and still conceded plenty, but the distance between for and against is growing. If we can hold on to our players over the offseason I think we can make a serious push for promotion. Youth Intake Ola Larsson 7A - Haris Bihorac 7B - Elvir Music 7C We were promised fullbacks aplenty in the intake preview, and he wasn't wrong. The only problem is, we have too many. But 2 of our players go straight into the first XI, at both LB and RB. Shocking, I know. I'll also mention a 3rd Model Citizen in an intake. I've never received one in the entire game, let alone 3 in one save. This HOYD must have some good things under the hood. Daniel Eriksson 4D - Emil Johansson 4J* - Rickard Carlsson 4C Our attack gets the showcase this season, as any attack that scores 80 goals should. I don't think we are likely to hold onto Eriksson for very long, he's on a non-contract and he thinks we are beneath him. We'll see what happens. Sn00gle
Garbarnia Kraków - Intake 2032/33 Another disappointment lost my nerves to HOYD Afther that preview I checked for new HOYD. There were 4 people that potentialy could join our team but only one had perfect personality professional. Armeniar
Ligue 1 (9th) - Coupe de France (11th Rnd) Squad - U19 - Out on loan - Transfers Transfers: Quite a few outgoing transfers this season. Many second division clubs saw their chance to steal some of our talents. Marechal and Tagnaouti never lived up to expectations, as well as Luxembourgian Sousa who was allowed to leave to the Netherlands. Furthermore, the contracts of two key players from last season were not renewed. A risky, but well-founded gamble. Right back Humblot played more than 160 games in our team, but his development stagnated. After long hesitation, we decided to let him go in order to move other guys up. He signed with a third division team. Finally, our 34-year-old captain Calvet was thanked for his services. Physically he deteriorated enormously, but I still wanted to extend him initially. Firstly, because he is a great captain, he always knew how to keep the group and any concerns under control. Also, he has been a starting player here for the past 7 years, even in the Ligue 1. First as a midfielder, the last years as a defender. I did however decide to say goodbye at a high point (cup final) in his career. Calvet found another challenge in the French fourth division at US Concarneau. Merci pour tout! As a result we do have a very youthful defense, fortunately there is (the last remaining "real" player) Bijimine who adds the necessary experience. Finally, Guyot was loaned out to a Ligue 2 club, despite being a regular stand-in for the midfielders. I'd like to give him a season as a starting player, and see if it benefits his development. By the way, our star player Bokungu could go to China for a whopping 21 million, a huge amount that the board (thankfully) refused. Ligue 1 We continued to build on the same momentum of last year. The team is holding its own in the Ligue 1, that much is clear. The season started well, on the field of LOSC Lille we actually won 0-3. In the end, we ended up in 9th place. A good season, nothing special! U19 Our youth team also had a very strong season. They finished first in their regional competition, despite the presence of Marseille, Nice and Monaco among others, and beat PSG's U19 in the national semifinals, but lost the final to Troyes. Spoiler Highlighted player After Bokungu in 2027, we have another Ligue 1 Revelation of the Yearin our ranks in 2028! Goalkeeper Vincent received the award after a year with 34 league games and an average rating of 7.00. He sincerely deserved it, Vincent has in no time become an indisputable pawn by referring Belarbi to the bench. Vincent deserves all the credit! Remarkably, in season 4 he joined us as a meaningless player, he had a PA of 4 stars and seemed at that time to be anything but our regular goalkeeper. Moral of the story, never write anyone off! As icing on the cake, he got an offer from Man City. Internationals Diabaté for the first time called up for Switzerland, he was subbed on against Kosovo and even made his first international goal! Coskun has been called up for Turkey for several seasons in a row and was even part of the team that went to the European Championships, but had never officially made his debut in all that time. It was against France that he got his first cap, a 6-minute substitution. Traoré has now reached 12 caps and 2 goals for Burkina Faso, impressive at his age. Youth intake We had to look for a new HOYD and a new manager of the U19, as both were retiring. Especially the HOYD was surprising, as he had only been in service for 1 year and is only 65 yo. The choice finally fell on Olivier Perrin. He was poached from FC Metz, after all a training club pur sang. We also have our first two affiliate clubs from which we may be able to acquire youth players. The Ghanaian Akante Kotoko and the Algerian Academy JMG Paradou. The nice thing about the latter club is that it is effectively a training club and academy, formerly linked to the defunct Lierse SK. The first intake of our new HOYD was more than solid. The personalities are mostly positive! As expected after the preview, half Angolan Gaspar is the top performer of this batch. Very polyvalent guy, another extra option up front. Future-wise, I see an AMC in him, as his crossing and finishing are on the low side. Medane is also very promising, I think he is a great candidate to play in our midfield once he is 16. Cuvillier is also interesting, lefties are always welcome.
Britrock
Club Atlético Sarmiento de Resistencia - 2021/22 season review A first season that I'm very happy with, We easily avoided relegation and even pushed towards comfortable mid-table. There are a couple of stars in the team, although unfortunately one of them is leaving at the end of the season for bigger and better things. He was annoyed at me from day one because I rejected a bid for him, but I think I got him round to me by the end of the season (although by then it was too late as he'd signed a contract elsewhere). He was my top scorer and assister, so he might be difficult to replace, but when he was out of the team for a few weeks we didn't really miss him too much. The youth intake was nothing special, but I did get a couple of the tagged prospects into the first team for the last few games once survival was mathematically guaranteed. They didn't embarrass themselves either, which is a good sign. I expect them to spend a lot of time around the first team next season, probably taking a couple of the seats on the bench. Hopefully next year we get a good ST and DC, I'm a bit weak at both positions. The cup may look impressive, getting to the 5th round, but we entered at that round! Annoyingly the game was 1-1 and we conceded in the 91st minute to go out.

Popular Post vikeologist
Vikeologist's 2036/7 Folkestone Season Report (Director's Over-extended Cut) In the final preseason match for the first XI my star striker, and MVP for the past 3 seasons, Michael Morgan damaged his spine and was going to be out for 5 months, so I thought, sod it, wrote the season off and decided to throw my young promising players in, and hope that we could at least finish in mid-season. Basically I more or less changed half the first team. Things actually went much better with the new blood than I could have hoped, and for the first half of the season it looked as though we may even challenge for the league. It was actually when Morgan returned from injury that our form dipped, although I’m not sure it was really because of him. At one point late in the season I became worried that we wouldn’t even make the playoffs, but 7 wins on our final 8 regular season matches ensured 5th place, although our playoff spot wasn’t assured until the final game. So another playoff spot, but for the first time we are going into them in good form. I’m not exactly optimistic, but maybe less pessimistic than normal. Playoff First Round Spoiler Folkestone 1-0 Dartford We took an early lead, but it was a bit stressful after that, especially given that we don’t have many good penalty takers in the team. I might have to change my subs bench for the next match(es) to give me some options. Playoff Semi Final Spoiler Bognor Regis 6-3 Folkestone 3-0 down within 20 minutes, we quickly clawed 2 back, but couldn’t even the scores, and having to go for the match late on were punished. Playoff Final Spoiler Squad Spoiler Top Goalscorer – Jack Collett 13a – 31 With our main man, Michael Morgan out for half the season, at least that meant that I had twice the opportunities to give to young players. Collett seems to be the man to start alongside Morgan. My only concern is that they don’t seem to work well together, because they’re both just right-footed. Morgan scored 22 goals from the final 31 matches he did start, but that was a lower goals per minute rate than Collett and the other starting striker in the first half of the season. I’m not going to drop Morgan obviously, but it is worrying that we scored more without him than with. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Jack Collett 13a – 7.28 Man of The Match – Michael Morgan 9a – 10 Top even though he only played half the season. Most Valuable Player– Giorgos Kragiopoulos 11a Our goalie. Really I have 3 very good players, Our goalie Pope, Morgan and a central midfielder, Giorgos Kragiopoulos 11a whose contract is up during the summer and is almost certain to leave, so I’ll have to try to get some dosh for him if he doesn’t see the light very soon. Most Appearances (Regens) – Jason ‘Nepotism’ Ramsay 1a – 701 My nephew only played 3 matches this season. He’s 31 now, and is getting ready for his post playing coaching and managing. He wouldn’t be a terrible coach, but I don’t have any vacancies. My coaches have been with me for ages, and are miles better than anybody new that would join us. Jason is on a pay for play contract, so I’m happy to keep him around until he gets a staff job. He’s still a decent player, and since my best central midfielder is leaving in the summer, he might make a mini-comeback in the team next season. Most Goals (Regens) – Ellis Andrews 2c - 250 Made one sub appearance this season without scoring that I don’t remember. Still a decent striker, but I have a lot of very promising strikers. Whereas Jason above could very well merit a starting spot if Krag leaves, I have no idea where Ellis would be on my depth chart. Probably 4th or 5th, but unlike Jason, he won’t accept a pay for play (or even a low wage) contract so I’ll be releasing him once his contract is up in the summer. Hopefully he’ll be picked up by somebody, and hopefully not somebody in our division, because he can still score goals, and he’s only 29. Resolute personality. Enjoys big matches. Can I justify £250 a week to keep him around as a mentor and emergency backup? You might say, Resolute personalities are valuable, but I have 13 Resolute players, and I think my 3 driven players are Resolute players with very high determination. I think it has to do with leagues that have end of season playoffs from multiple "groups". Also wouldn't let me have end of season team meetings, etc.

The Primera Nacional is split into Group A and B with a convoluted playoff at the end of the season (South American leagues love these weird setups) and Portugal is even crazier as you're aware! I'm in the North West Counties League Division 1 South (tier 10) currently, so I have understood it, I need to go through the following: North West Counties League Premier Division (Tier 9) Northern Premier League Division 1 North West (Tier 8) - Could be another of the regionals, but I think this is the most likely. Northern Premier League Premier Division (Tier7 ) Then the Vanarama regionals, North or South (Tier 6) And so on.. So I think I'm currently 4 tiers below it. Unless, I'm missing something, that is. Popular Post Padders
Season Review 2096/97 Our best finish yet, 7th. Considering the start that is a great turnaround. The lower the Youth Recruitment the further down the pecking order a club will find itself. Two clubs with identical Youth Recruitment will be sorted by Club Reputation. Being lower down this pecking order does not mean quality Newgens cannot be produced, it simply lowers the chances. Youth Facilities and Junior Coaching then simulate and determine how that Junior progresses in the Club’s Junior system until a Newgen is produced and appears in game. It is at this point that the Current Ability (CA) and Potential Ability (PA) of the newgens are decided. The above factors all contribute to both CA and PA equally. I don't know if this was asked here because it's hard to get through 86 pages. Do we know how long does it take from generating 'hidden' newgen to his appearance in Youth Intake? Because if it's longer than 1 year, so the time between intake preview and them actual appearing in the game, it would be nice to know. I'm asking because if I change anything in the club, like HoYD or facilities, I'd know how long should it take to see the difference it makes. @Seb Wassell ? I don't now if it's ever been confirmed but my thoughts on it are that it takes at least a year for any changes to take affect. My thinking is is that if I change coaching or recruitment in say August, that's not going to affect that season's intake because those players are already in the pipeline so to speak, same with HOYD - I always give a new one 2 years before thinking about changes. I'm likely wrong but my thinking on it is based on youth players getting poached and it taking a season or 2 for them to appear in game so I think any changes made will only start to have an affect in the next cycle of youth intakes not the current ones.

Last players from original squad are on outgoing contracts. Aiming for promotion playoff again this season. Would be nice with a promotion. FA Cup 3rd round away vs Liverpool gave me 1M in fresh funds. Using 650K on improving youth facilities and getting rid of alot of wages before next season so think finances should be ok for a while. Popular Post UnkleTass
ACN Siena 1904 Season 2028/29 Review They say 3rd time is a charm, and on our 3rd visit to the playoffs we managed to win the whole damn thing in Serie C it's almost a whole new cup competition with 3 rounds, Quarters, Semis and a Final. But we got promoted to Serie B and now the fight to battle against the 4 relegation places begins. The last lines of defence from the old guard are on their last legs, only my Goalkeeper is still a starter but his decline means this is probably his last season starting and the new Youth prospect is ready and waiting to go. There were a load of internal takeover rumours this year but nothing materialised, perhaps it will next year but let's watch this space. Finances are still struggling a little. This year I got 2 job interview offers, including my first from Serie A! It's nice to know you're wanted. Sn00gle
Garbarnia Kraków - 2032/33 Squad - League - Finances - Transfers To be fair I came to this season unmotivated, with new tactic and hope that intake will change something in my life. Game said big no and after poor intake we changed HOYD like I said in intake update. In this season we sold some unhappy players that want move to "bigger" teams. Bigest lose is Zakrzewski 08c (Jagiellonia just got relegated LOL) but I think we sold him for good money like for team in Fortuna 1 Liga with some % in the future. Second lose was Danel 08b which was moved from second team and I actually saw him in first squad. Overall finances were bad. Around 5 last rounds of the season we had almost -2ml in bank but Chairman switch saved us and we had over +400k. As I was fighting for league win with rate 5 I just went all in for JC and YR upgreats and... WERE accepted! So with new HOYD im looking for wonderkids now cmon About the wining the league... in last 3 matches we fight 2 teams from bottom of the table first match we tied, second we lost... and we lost with Podbeskidzie which won the league. With 1 point over Bełchatow we got 5th place and we go into playoffs where we win in penalties 5-4 with GKS Katowice and in final we won in crazy match with Chrobry. I was wining until around 85'. Chroby scored minute later I was playing in 10 after sub got red card... and we scored before the games end after counter on 2-1! So we are able to back to Ekstraklasa right after relegation. In Polish Cup finaly some luck. Reached 3rd round where in penalties we lose to Raków Częstochowa. GK Mrózek 06b is now our most famous international player with 3 caps in Polish u-21 but to be honest Im happy to sell him. He is generating to many problems in team. MVP of our team goes in this season to DR Drągowski 02b for 7.14 rating and 9 assists.

Popular Post XaW
Liver Academy - Season 2023/24 Review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Promoted as champions! A great season overall and we lead the charge from start to finish. This was a really funny season, and I'm excited to go into a single digit tier! In the FA Vase we beat Chard Town before losing to Norton & Stockton Ancients in the 2nd qualifying round. In the North West Counties League Cup we beat Prestwich Heys, Silsden, Irlam, Atherton Laburnum Rovers and Nelson to reach the final. Here we beat Wythenshawe Town to claim the trophy. We had our first outing in the FA Cup this season. We beat Diss Town before losing to Grays Athletic in the preliminary round.
ManUtdFan
Have a couple of general questions, would very much appreciate is I could get some answers. 1) Are existing players available to be used? (E.g player has played for the club for 2 season, not a youth academy player) 2) In the same area, can pre-existing transfers be used(agreed upon before taking over the club)? Yes, they can be used freely as long as you want to keep them 2. Only if you have no option of cancelling it the same day you take over the club. So if it's in the negotiating status or bid status and you can cancel it, then it should be done, but if it's done and dusted and just waiting for the transfer date, then those players are completely fine to use. Do post a screenshot of the transfer centre on the takeover day if that is the case though, so there are no misunderstandings about it afterwards. We pretty much rely on people being honest here, but whatever can be proven must be.
Popular Post ravenation
Gainsborough Trinity 2035/2036 - League two 3rd place(promoted through playoff) - Fa cup 4th round - Carabeo 2nd round - John trophy - Northern section round Best season so far. 83 points and a 18 games unbeaten run from 30th january to finish of season. Our new tactical approach was a success. We sold Tino Silva for 10 million euro, so we can now again after several seasons invest in our facilities. As i remember Championship has quite good income, so i hope we are now over our long term financial struggles - even with investments. Im not sure we can survive - but on other hand im quite optimistic after this season performances. Our club legend Nathan Darby reached 423 games in the beautiful blue shirt. Youth intake was worrying - nothing special and as we promoted again, i am worried we have to wait some season for useable youth intake. Our U18 team smashed their division and took the double with a cup win!
JLAB
ACN Siena 1904 - 2030/31 Youth Intake Now, admittedly, this wasn't the best intake I've ever had, but after thinking about it more and more, I realised that this was actually a decent intake, because all of the players that the five players that had the most potential were going to be good enough to play for any Lega Pro team in the future if given the chance to grow and get enough game time. Still, I felt that it would be best to talk about at least two of the players who came through our intake, with Giuseppe Toma being the one that caught their eye the most. He would be 8th choice in current ability once Marco Carminati leaves us, but he does have the potential to grow, just a shame for him that he has so many other talented players ahead of him who have better potential then. A player who can be a winger and a midfielder? I'll take that any day of the week. Is it ideal that his potential isn't the best? No, but I can still work with that regardless. There's easily worse players in regards to potential ability in the team. Though that being said. Things might be heading in our favour regardless, so I'll need to reassess things more at the end of the season. Things seem to be looking very good for us right now.
