Popular Post steve.rush
Sannois SG 2030-2031 We floated around the playoff spots pretty much all year and found a sixth gear around March which took us into the top two places and we managed to hold on to gain promotion to Ligue 1. In the French Cup, we had our best ever finish by getting to the Eleventh Round before losing to Ligue 1 FC Nantes. A penalty shootout win against AS Monaco in the Tenth Round was the highlight. Julien Sere 22b now has 127 goals in 243 appearances and is the club record holder in both. Yaya Toure 26e provided the crosses from the right and Braham Amari 22d was once again our outstanding performer. Enforcer Matteo Lux 26a and number one keeper Mohamed Fernandez 23c continue to be our most talented prospects. Survival is going to be a monumental task I feel. I wouldn't be surprised if we come straight back down but we need to use this time in Ligue 1 to make as much money as we can and build up the facilities. We managed to push the Youth Facilities back up to adequate this season and also reached Exceptional in our Youth recruitment. JaytheGreat
Youth Intake 2021 A good looking group for were we are and everyone has a chance to make a name for themselves here. Franzen, Nilsson, Bohlin, and Lindstrom look like the top 4 but I would sleep on Israelsson either. Out of all the players I think Bohlin will be the first the player to make an impact on the team, he plays well in the ball winning role and is also looks to be a threat in the air off set pieces. All in all not a bad 1st intake.
JLAB
So very quick question about Portugal. Does Padroense have anything that stops their team from being able to play in the top tier of Portugal? They are available in the Portuguese leagues as a newly promoted club and they share the training facilities with Porto, they share scouting knowledge, the players move freely between Porto and Padroense within this partnership which is a long-term deal. I remember seeing there was an issue with a Portuguese club, but I couldn't remember if it was this team or not.

If it says "long-term deal" and that is stops team X to play in the same division as team Y, then they cannot play in the top tier. This goes for all countries, I think. JLAB
That's a shame if that's the case, especially since they had really good facilities. JLAB
Though looking at this affiliate deal, there isn't anything that says that they can't play in the same division as Porto, unlike other deals I've seen so far in other partnerships. Armeniar
On another note, we managed to secure a very important win in our CL campaign this season. We're in a tricky group with Chelsea, Milan and Hamburg. We already drew against Chelsea in London, but lost in Milan so we could really use this win. Now top of the group after 4 games! (click) Spoiler Downside of this is that we had to rest some important players in the game just two days before this against 3rd placed Lyon. We suffered our very first loss this season because of this, such a shame (2-3). P$G on top again now of course... I hate them

vikeologist
Vikeologist's 2043/44 Folkestone Season Report Once again we looked as though we might win promotion for the first half of the season, only to fall apart in the second. We had a lot of transfer money come in. We sold one of our central defenders for £2.2 million because his contract was up in the summer. We received a huge sell on fee for a player we sold ages ago, and I was about to sell our left winger for £3 million because he has a 775k release clause for teams in a higher division. The trouble is that he is much better than any of our other left wingers. I thought that keeping him would cement promotion, meaning that only Premier League clubs could steal him on the cheap. With one match to go we were outside the playoffs, albeit on goal difference, meaning we had to get something at home against league champions Birmingham, and win by a mile to be certain of promotion. Our 2 rivals for those 2 open slots also had tough matches. We were fantastic in the first half and went in 1-0 up. After 60 minutes we were losing 4-1, and that’s how it finished despite our throwing everything forward. We’d have had to win by at least 4 goals anyway, but still a disappointing collapse and end to the season. So another season down the drain. At least we move into our new stadium at the start of next season, and hopefully that will mean more income. We probably need it though due to our wage bill creeping up. Top Goalscorer – Ellis Wiltshire 20d - 26 For where it wrong this season, you only have to look at this category. For years Morgan and Collett have consistently both notched 30 a season, but now Wiltshire and Dave Jackson 21b are supposedly our best strikers. I’m not sure I want to do this, but let’s look at the stats. Ellis Wiltshire – 26 goals (Minutes on pitch per goal 159) Dave Jackson – 15 (Moppg 159) Michael Morgan – 21 (Moppg 137) Jack Collett – 7 (Moppg 201) So really maybe the transition of strikers didn’t make too much difference. They all sucked in the second half of the season. Highest Average Rating (minimum 10 matches played) – Jack Collett 13a – 7.23 Last year’s top scorer only started 7 matches but with the sub appearances retains this award. However, as seen above, his scoring boots mostly didn’t work. Man of The Match – Kevin Spencer 17d – 8 The left winger I didn’t sell for £3 million. He only has 2 years left on his contract, and we can’t afford his demands at the moment, so in retrospect it might have been better to sell him. Most Valuable Player– Kevin Spencer 17d But he is still our most valuable player because there’s no compelling replacement. His 2 backups are a right-footer and a kid who is probably a better left back. Most Appearances (Regens) – Jason ‘Nepotism’ Ramsay 1a – 719 Long gone, but the good news was that he finally secured a 2nd management job, (at National league Barnet), which means that all the money we spent on coaching badges might not be wasted. I have another ex-player who is a manager, Finn O’Mara who made about 600 appearances for Folkestone, but Jason is the only academy product. Michael Morgan is now an even 200 appearances behind him on 519, but as mentioned above, is now a rotation player, and about to hit his 30s. JLAB
So I finished my 17th season at Siena and the board terminated the link with Tabor Sezana. However, they gave me a new link with CSKA-Sofia, the most successful Bulgarian team in the countries' history.
JLAB
Think I know what I want to do in the future for my YAC saves. Using my affiliates past and present in the future that are not in my current country. We have/had 11 clubs in Italy as our affiliates, so I know what to avoid. Anadia - Portugal. I've seen how easily things can go wrong in this country and how many teams could cause us issues with their affiliates alone. Could be an interesting challenge too. CSKA-Sofia - Bulgaria. Newest team, and was a team that was my fierce rival that I took on when I did a season with Ludogorets this season, but I know how easy it is for teams to lose money and for Ludogorets to dominate the domestic leagues. Can also make this a Build a Nation save too. KäPa Helsinki - Finland. Can make this a YAC and Build a Nation save in one again, like we could with Bulgaria. I've never managed in Finland before, so it will be an interesting time to test that out. N.E.C. - Holland. Haven't tried this nation yet, but it feels like the finances are really good for some of the teams, so trying to create something in an established league can be really difficult (something I've seen a lot of people struggle with in this nation). SV Wals-Grünau - Austria. Another nation I've not tried yet, but I also know that financially could be really good if we use lots of young players (if what I got told in this forum is anything to go by), so hopefully that won't be an issue like many others. Tabor Sezana - Slovenia. A team that my board ended a link with recently, but I feel could be an interesting nation to try this type of save in. With the likes of Maribor being the big bad to overcome in the country, it can also be a Build A Nation too.
XaW
St. Laurence Spurs - Season 2021/22 Review Table | Squad | Transfers | Finances Our first season in Malta were quite successful, I'd say. We won our division, but it was a close race with Qala Saints, going all the way to the final match before the title was secured. So next season we are up in what I think is the 4th tier of Maltese football. I have no idea how big the difference is, or if we will struggle or not, but it's going to be exciting none the less. In the Amateur Cup we beat Kirkop United and Qormi before losing to Siġġiewi in the quarter final. In the GFA Cup we beat Xewkija Tigers before losing to Kerċem Ajax in the quarter final. In the GFA 2nd division Knock-out we beat Oratory Youths, Qala Saints, and Sannat Lions to clinch the trophy. Youth Meh, seems like an average intake, but it's the first so it's good anyway. Pretty good, really! All 5 star talents, and also some ability. I had (and still have to a degree) a lack of good strikers, so he fits in perfectly. Even with a poor personality. U19: In the Gozo FA Youth League our u19s won the whole thing. Statistics: Spoiler Malta and Australia, so a decent start I'd say. Record Breakers: Most goals in a season: Karl Formosa - 25 Most league goals in a season: Karl Formosa - 17 Most goals in a match: Jason Theuma - 2 Most goals in a league match: Jason Theuma - 2 Most assists in a season: James Grima - 10 Most clean sheets in a season: Courtney Mercieca - 11 Most player of the match awards in a season: Karl Formosa - 6 Worst discipline: Adebayo Ademilua - 10 yellow, 2 red Most league apps overall: Jason Theuma - 142 Youngest player: Paul Mizzi 22d - 15 years, 304 days Fastest goal: Karl Formosa - 49 seconds Youngest goalscorer: Cameron Stewart 22i - 16 years, 17 days Trophy cabinet: GFA Second Division - 1 (21/22) GFA Second Division Knock-Out - 1 (21/22) Gozo FA Youth League (u19s) - 1 (21/22)

steve.rush
Sannois SG 2031-2032 A satisfactory first season in the top flight. Lots of ups and downs as expected but we were never really in any danger of the bottom three. In the French Cup, we had a very tough draw against tycoon owned RC Lens who have been pushing PSG close the last few years. We lost 2-1 away from home. A lot of the guys struggled for consistency but our stand out players would have to be Alban Millet 28a, Yoann Lewis 28j and Maghnes Soumare 26m. Lux, Millet, Soumare and our new number one Olivier Kone 26b are our most talented youngsters. Long time GK Mohamed Fernandez 23c moved on to AS Monaco in a £4m deal that will see us make 30% of any profit on a future transfer Goals for next year; much the same. Finances are better and the prize money for finishing 14th has already been reinvested back into the Training and Youth Facilities which should be built by October. A new stadium on the way will also get the gate up and we can continue to grow

Cheez3y
I will take a slight break from the Brazil save. After almost 200 games in 2 1/2 season, I feel a bit burned out. So I will mix that up with a second save, with a club thats only playable this year. Bidvest Wits FC or better known as Wits University FC. After the season 2019/20 Bidvest stopped their investment and sold the Premier League spot to TTM. The professional division was closed and only the amateur division was supposed to still exist. But I dont find any infomation, if they really play. The last 10 years, they enjoyed their best time in football. They even won the league back in 2017. Wits Uni was founded 1921, so they couldnt even make it to their 100th anniversary. They got top notch facilities. So after seein this by random, I needed to do his. I change the name and I swapped the logo to the university.

JLAB
ACN Siena 1904 - 2037/38 Youth Intake So our latest intake has arrived and we've gotten a bigger variety of nationalities than ever before and some of our affiliates have produced the goods for us in a big, big way. Lots of talents with big potential and two of our affiliates providing us with players that I think can become really good players for us in the long-term. If there is one thing that I adore more than anything else, it is a player that has versatility, and Fabrizio Vietina has that in spades and then more. A striker who can play on both the left and right wings as well. He is someone that I can 100% use to improve the strength of the squad as a whole and someone I plan on using on the left side of the pitch when I plan on making John Obot as the main striker in the future. It is exciting times for this young man. It also helps that he is consistent as well. Mattia Carlucci is the second Carlucci to make his way through our academy, and like Andrea Carlucci, Mattia Carlucci is also a defensive player, though this time a right-back instead of a centre-back. He has a lot of potential to grow and while he has low determination, I know that I can make sure that he is really, really good if he gets given the game-time he needs. It also helps that he could be trained to be a centre-back too. Cláudio Paulino is a very exciting player that would make Wolves very excited to see him when he becomes the same age as Landi and if he is able to develop at the same rate as Landi too. He unfortunately has low determination and is inconsistent as well, but that's perfectly fine because we can train him to become better. Anadia have given us a wonderful player that I plan on making an incredible defender in the near future. He is the player that my backroom staff are really excited about, and I can see why. Anselmo Fanelli has a lot going for him. A central midfielder first and foremost, he has the resolute personality and likes to shoot from distance, so if we needed him to push further up the pitch, he can do so perfectly. Unfortunately for us, he is inconsistent and likes to bend the rules due to his competitive streak, but if he can develop to be as good as his potential shows, then I can see why my head of youth development was so excited for his arrival. Roberto Novello is a striker, who we can turn into an attacking midfielder. He has since become a player with 5 star potential, so once again, Jack Oliver's future as our star striker is being put in doubt, but at the same time we've got so many players that could become strikers that it makes he wonder if I should turn Novello into an attacking midfielder. He is already improving, so I have plenty of reasons to be excited. Gabriele Ferri had 4 stars for his potential, but has since gone down to 3.5 stars in potential, and is now shown to be inconsistent. I will still try to develop him, because his 18 flair is not something you come across every day, so teaching him to try tricks could be useful. Still, despite my concerns, he could still be a pretty decent player for us, I just need to be patient with the 15-year-old. Jari Fagerström is a player that has come from our affiliates in Finland, the amateur side KäPa Helsinki. He is fairly consistent, but his potential has also gone down a little bit too. He is wanted by other clubs in Italy, so I know he has some potential, even if it is some clubs in Serie B that are eyeing him up. Still, I'm not going to give up in Jari, because I want to make sure that this give from Finland can become an international star for his home country. I want Siena to become the place that international stars are made. Antonio Barbini is the last of the intakes that have caught my eye. He has potential to be a Serie A player in the future if he can reach his potential, but unfortunately has players ahead of him in the pecking order that have better potential than he does, which means that he could find himself trying to become a first team player in a side that doesn't have any spots left for him. I'll still work with him, but his causal personality is going to work against him here, sadly enough.

I've always been tempted by Vladivostock just for the insanity of of their location (I imagine Japanese newgens would be fairly normal over time) there's also a club side in the first division (Chertanovo Moscow) that is the basically the real life version of this challenge (and a side all of us in here should start to support ) as they only use players from their academy, though as they start in the game they sadly can't be used for us
Brentmeister
Back in the big time baby! Season 5 review We were tipped for consecutive relegations by the media, but confounded expectations to bounce back at the first attempt. It took an amazing end of the season to finally clinch it for us, with 10 wins coming from our final 13 games. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Performances Our best performer was club captain and record goalscorer Fabricio Daniel, his 26 goals helping us massively to promotion. He just shaded our CB Kevem who is going from strength to strength and despite being 26 still has some improvement in him apparently! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Youth prievew and intake No golden generation this time, but plenty of green to get excited about. Since I hired my new HOYD, around half of my players have the 'plays simple passes' trait. Maybe his park the bus preferred tactical style is influencing this? On first viewing the intake looks one of the worst yet, but these Brazillians tend to develop fast. Lucas Eduardo was singled out as most promising. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Transfers, finances and misc Our finances are ok and we even managed a training facilities upgrade and a junior coaching upgrade. Our infrastructue looks excellent. No transfers in. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Edited April 3, 2021 by Brentmeister

There is also another team from not far away called Smena Komsomolsk-na-Amure, that's from the city/ of Komsomolsk-na-Amur not far from the Sakhalin Islands and the Kuril Islands (where Russia and Japan have some border disputes). Man, I'm a map geek! And I thought about taking over them, but in the end I elected to go with Novokuznetsk, mostly because I think I have a higher chance of Mongolian youngsters and players from the various -stan countries. I've actually heard about Chertanovo, and I'd love to have a go with them if they were available for this challenge!

I do love the idea of getting a newgen from Mongolia tbh - I'd have to play even if he was rubbish Yeah Chertanovo are a team I wanna try at some stage, shame they don't count for here though.
