Fairly strong and above? Yeah, I'd say "Fairly Strong" especially if it is for non-attacking players (CM/CD/DM/FB). The Table I use in my calcs & Strikers in Spoiler: Spoiler My Conversion table in the CA Tool: Thus, by saying Fairly strong you still would consider there to be a noticeable difference in performance of the player, especially an attacker, if they are cutting inside and need to use their weak foot often. So the striker from my last intake, Adrian Brathwaite, since he is so short eventually I'll be retraining him onto the flank. As I play with IW instead of IF (I just like how they play) I'll be looking for him to be retrained to the right side so his crossing is optimal. From the intake before is Jason Applewhaite who has been blessed with the magic mentoring wand and has become Perfectionist! He is what I consider a great set-up to be retrained to both of my wide Striker roles as he has "Strong" either-footedness, which means he will be almost as effective form either flank (15-17 / 20). You can see my U18 manager/BRBU20 has been playing him in both so he has begun learning it. I've kept him in the mentoring group to hopefully fix "Outspoken, Volatile & Confrontational". These strikers get big CA boosts for their either-footedness and IMO it is warranted because their scoring ability is significantly stronger with the weak foot strength. However, if you take a player of mine like Mark Ryan who si fully either-footed this is what I consider CA bloat, because as a DM it really isn't necessary, and other than the two-foot he is extremely poor. Only reason he's still around is due to our lack of DM options.
Popular Post OlivierL
Intro I couldn't find my rhythm in Iceland so time for a country I've never managed before... Luxembourg ! Since last year @WhiteCat33 got really far in Luxembourg with ASL Porto, I was interested in Luxembourg. I live relatively close to Luxembourg myself and that combined with a fast league structure, many nationalities and a kind of build a nation save, a lot of boxes are ticked. Luxembourg ranked 100th in the FIFA world ranking. They have a population of +- 660k and the capital is Luxembourg City . Spoiler Luxembourg is a developed country with an advanced economy and one of the world's highest GDP (PPP) per capita as per IMF and World Bank estimates. The nation's levels of human development and LGBT equality are ranked among the highest in Europe. The city of Luxembourg was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994 due to the exceptional preservation of its vast fortifications and historic quarters. Luxembourg is a founding member of the European Union,OECD, the United Nations, NATO, and the Benelux. It served on the United Nations Security Council for the first time in 2013 and 2014. FC Luxembourg City - Luxembourg- 2th tier - Promotion d'Honneur - Intro - 2024/2024 Database | Manager | Wikipedia | Club vision | Supporter Profile | Finances | Facilities FC Luxembourg City is a Luxembourg football club from Hamm, a district of the capital Luxembourg. Matches are played at the Estádio do Cents. I had to holiday one season and Luxembourg City got promoted from the third tier. On 14 May 2020, the members of FC Blue Boys Muhlenbach and RM Hamm Benfica agreed to a fusion between the two clubs. The new club took the name FC RM Hamm Benfica and took Blue Boys Muhlenbach's place in the Nationaldivisioun in the 2020/21 season. The name Benfica had been causing controversy for some time. The name and logo are based on that of Portuguese club SL Benfica. Partly because of a threatened claim for damages from the Portuguese, it was decided to change the name to FC Luxembourg City in 2022. Since Hamm Benfica received a lot of Portuguese and Cape Verdean players through the intakes, I now expect the same at luxembourg City Squad 17 potential senior players and already added 6 academy players from the first intake. Some of them could make the first eleven already. First need to sort out a lot of players with an ending or no contract. There seem to be no homegrown rules in luxembourg in this DB. We also have one pre arranged transfer, i could not cancel this one since i took over at 21/6. Key Players Youth Intake during holiday - Class 2024 A lot of nationalities ! Spoiler Hot Prospects Above three could start in my first eleven already. Luxembourg Facts Spoiler Club Facts Bingo Thanks @Perre8 for the great kits (they look exactly like how they play in real life , and even better) and @ToMexico!! who has a career save topic himself with Luxembourg city (he was the trigger to finally start this adventure)

Popular Post JLAB
Real Jaén - Season 3 - It's Finally Over The drama started before our last two games even began. I had taken a press conference and answered a question about my future. The board didn't take kindly to the fact I had responded to the question and demanded a meeting, threatening to sack me if I didn't attend. I attended the meeting and apologised for the situation, and we ended our conversation there, declaring that they hoped our next meeting would be more positive. Unfortunately, we took on Marbella next and were beaten 4-1. The players looked short of confidence, and I was frustrated with their efforts. "It's not my fault we're in this position. The players know how to play my system. It's just they're terrible at playing in it," I told myself, trying to deflect the blame from myself. I had reached 100 games in charge just a few games before, and I thought the team would survive. I just had an unlucky season. We have enough points to stay in this division. The board had a different view on things. After losing 4-1 to Marbella and suffering my ninth defeat in a row, I was called into another meeting, and this time, Real Jaén sacked me. When I was told my contract would be terminated, I could remember my reaction as clear as day. "I hope you get relegated! It's not my fault the other teams are overperforming!" It wasn't my finest moment, but I was extremely bitter. I genuinely believe that I could still turn things around and that I wasn't happy with being forced out like this. So I watched to see what they would do. The side had dropped into the relegation zone, and my bitterness couldn't stop me from cheering on Poli El Ejido, hoping they would relegate Real Jaén for what they had done to me. Yet, Real Jaén managed to win their first game free from my management, and it made me wonder why going from a 4-3-3 to a 4-1-2-1-2 had ensured they could win this game. It just upset me even more. In the end, Real Jaén ended up surviving, and Recreativo Granada got relegated with 42 points, so that win truly was needed to keep Real Jaén up. It doesn't matter to me, though, for my journey with them is over now. It's time I move on to my next journey. Watch the video below to watch my last game in charge and my two board meetings. Previous Post: 2031/32 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish League 2 League: The first time we've got over 47 points since our first season (which got promotion... somehow?) and we did stumble a bit over the line, but managed to find ourselves in the playoffs again. Unfortunately, the exact same outcome - we lose again in the Playoff Final. I was actually 4-1 ahead in the 2nd leg against Kelty, and then they just wouldn't stop scoring and my nerves definitely started going! The Stenhousemuir performance was very disappointing though, especially as we went 1-0 up within the first 2 minutes of the away leg. Still stuck down here in League 2 - I will eventually get back up! Youth Intake: We've finally got one!! Josh Strachan goes straight into the striker position and he looks fantastic... Now, if we can actually make use of him for next year, this should be the first time we're able to launch an attempt at the title. The board have upgraded our recruitment again, so we're exceptional in both now which means we've got the best Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment in Scotland but we're stuck all the way down here! If we can just get going, we should be able to get up the leagues. Current Team: So I said I'd do a bit more of a post than usual and you can see why above - only 4 players over the age of 18 in the starting 11! We did lose our starting keeper, so we're forced to put Hersee in between the sticks unfortunately, but the rest of the starting 11 I'm actually reasonably happy with. We're only allowed full backs called Darragh, so I'm really hoping we get more of them in intakes moving forward. Joking aside, they are 2 of the best prospects we've had come through (Forbes and Garrard here). Bailey McKay is another name those reading would know - he's been my best player for a good couple of years now and is usually the top assists and average rating player. Harry Stewart on the left wing is also another handy prospect, although is Unambitious which will stunt his growth. And then obviously to top it all off as I've posted above - Josh Strachan, the first prospect we've had that looks like he might be worth a pretty penny soon. 2032/33 Season Report Club: Tranent FC (Scotland) League: Scottish League 2 League: To say we're a mid table League 2 side is an understatement. Just to understand what it's been like since the relegation from League 1, here's the finishing positions I've had since starting the save: Basically, we'll just get about 46 points every year apart from the odd season - it's actually quite boring on the field! It's also incredibly repetitive. Again, we've had the tale of 2 seasons. First 18 games, 30 points, top 3 in the league. Second 18 games, we pick up 15 points, bottom of the league. I'm clearly missing something on FM this year as this has happened in too many seasons for it to be a coincidence now. We did manage a little bit of a cup run this year, getting to the 5th Round for the first time for the club, but lost to Championship side Falkirk 3-0 in a bit of a damp squib! Youth Intake: The exciting bit! We're at the point where we're getting a starting first team player every year, and this was no different. Apologies for the screenshot, I may have completely forgotten to take a screenshot of the actual intake.. Jacob Connell (GK) will go right in as my number 1. Professional personality as well, so he might be between the sticks for a while! We've also got another good striker in Mateo Großkreutz, so we're definitely not lacking there anymore. Overall..... not a lot happened this year.

We're going to be in for another tough season next year as we'll be losing WBR Bruno Souza at the end of his contract, we'll also potentially be losing starting DC Bruno Leonardo because he wanted to explore his options and our starting GK Thomazella is closing in on 37 so he won't be seeing much game time now either. Popular Post SuperRedditch
Leça FC Season Seven - 2030/31 Liga Portugal 2 - 3rd (Won Play-offs) It's the double whammy of consecutive promotions. In-fact, when the final whistle went on my 34th and final game of the season I was in first place. I'd won the league, but there were no celebrations. No trophy lift. Was it bugged? Nope. Casa Pia had performed the most almighty of comebacks, scoring two last minute goals to win their game and win the league. Fair play to them - it meant I faced the 3rd bottom team from the division above in a two legged play-off final. I would like to say I was calm, but in all honesty these two games have taken 10 years off my life. They missed a penalty, they hit the woodwork 3 times, we scored a scrappy goal against the run of play in the first leg to steal a win. I don't care. We're up. And oh boy might it be a godsend, because our finances continue to deteriorate. Thankfully the maniac who promised to build a new stadium should he win our election ended up losing. The guy who has pulled all the strings has been CM(At) Maurício Rivelino 28c, scoring 11 and assisting 13. We once again struggled in attack, so I just started playing Jakub Kaźmierczak 28a to try and brute force some growth. He'll be the main striker from now on after a very solid end to the season after I switched him to a DLF(Su). The Intake A 'meh' preview ended up being a really solid intake. However, I have noticed that the HoYD massively overweighs a players CA when determining their PA. I've had players rated Elite but they just do not develop and I think they come through the intake almost at their peak, but with a higher CA than the rest. This means, I won't really know how good any of these are for another couple of seasons. Sol will go straight into the first team though.
Popular Post Ron_Swanson
[FM23] Reymersholms IK - season 8 - 2030 Nice intake with a star caliber midfielder and some 2*CA whom I intend to use in starting lineup fairly often. We still have problem with personalities of top prospects but I can't get any better HoYD, not many to choose from and they're balanced at most. We stay in Division 1 but it wasn't an easy battle. Bad stretch of games in may/june got us in very uncomfortable position. We had to fight in relegation playoffs - first game went really well but we almost messed up a rematch, fortunately we could hold on the lead and we even got nice money for that win. There's no prizes for higher places but they give you 43k just for that playoff, weird but I won't complain.

Scraborn
Season 2 Update Macclesfield FC - Vanarama National North 25/26 The goal for this season was to avoid relegation wich we bravly archieved. Due to our defending errors during the whole season we missed out relegation by one point. The media predicted us rock bottom so I'm happy with the result but would be happier with a even better result. We played the same flat 4-4-2 like last season and fumbled every hope for playoffs in the final days. We will learn from that. Noone believed in us but we did it. Now the good part. Pawel who came through the first youth intake played more and more during the season and had a solid first year in senior football. In all competitions he played in 52 matches half as starter. And he delivered 7 goals and 6 assists mostly as a left-midfielder This years intake was again rated with three stars but i hope some of them will help us rather sooner than later. Most of the players brought bad personalities with them but we will work on them. We need more man for the squad. Popular Post officiallydeej
Dulwich Hamlet - 2028/29 Vanarama National League - 8th One point and one place higher than last season but that doesn't tell the whole story. After losing Panamarenko and Moro I feared the worst for this season but we went out like a house on fire and ended up second after the first 10 games. We then suffered through the heavy autumn schedule (9 league games in September!!) and slipped to upper mid table before resuming our charge up the league in early 2029. We floated between 5th and 8th but came up just short thanks to our cup exploits (more later). I feel a lot better about this season as unless my board get giddy and accept one of the many offers we're getting for Rekeem Thomas then we won't lose anyone for at least one more year. I'm hoping we can have another go at promotion next year and try and get into the league before the finances become a real issue. We were taken over half way through the season, sadly not by the tycoon who was rumoured to be circling but a consortium nonetheless. They cleared the debt and immediately approved junior coaching and youth recruitment upgrades, not a bad start from the new Mr Chairman. Cups After complaining last season that we hadn't won an FA Trophy game in the first four seasons of the save we went on a charge to the final, eventually coming up short in a crazy game against National League champions Crawley who beat us 8-5 after extra time! We had a favourable run of 5 home ties in a row, beating Woking, Hartlepool, Dorking and King's Lynn before thumping St Albans 5-0 in the semi final. Ironically finally having a good run probably killed our league chances as the fixtures started to mount up towards the end of the season and we ran out of steam. I forgot to screenshot the FA cup, but again we had a good run. We started off beating Hungerford 1-0 away before dismantling League One Mansfield 3-0 in the First Round proper. Our journey came to an end with a 4-1 defeat away at my hometown club Chesterfield who went on to be League Two champions. Star Players Following last season's departures of Moro and Panamarenko it was time for new heroes to comes to the fore from the academy and they certainly delivered. Sam Caldwell 25b took our main striking role and ended up not only our but the National League's top goalscorer, rattling in 35 goals and notching 16 assists in 49 games for a total of 51 goal involvements in 49 games. He's now decided he's too good for the club (he really is) but he is contracted for at least one more season so will spearhead next year's charge for the football league. Rakeem Thomas 25c is a familiar face on this list and again delivered a dependable 12 goals and 11 assists from 31 starts. He had quite a bad injury this year and spent a long time on international duty which hampered his contribution. He now has 25 caps for Antigua but didn't add to his 11 international goals this year. We have him for at least two more seasons due to an option clause but I spent most of the season rejecting bids of up to £1million from as high as Watford in the Championship. Our break out star this year was Jamie McHardy 27b, the first academy player to make a proper impact since the generational 2025 intake. He was given the daunting task of partnering Caldwell and at just 18 years old delivered a tremendous return of 29 goals in 43 starts. He still has plenty of growing room and I'm excited to see how far he can take us. Youth Intake This has been a source of concern for me in recent seasons and although there is slight improvement here I'd hoped for better after more upgrades. Also, are there no defenders in Dulwich or surrounding townships?!?! Jonathan Jewell is the standout here and with a good personality looks to be a natural successor if (when) Caldwell leaves us next summer. Although not as good as Jewell, Magnus Kellerman has moved straight into our first team squad as we are very short on defenders and he's already our third best centre half. I took a chance on quite a few of this intake simply because they're better than what I currently have in the u18s. Admin Quite a bit of excitement in the admin section this season! First up the club were taken over by a consortium who put in just under 400k to clear our debts and also upgraded our Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment. After a bit of bartering they also agreed to another coaching badge so I'm now on the way to continental C. The is draining again but we got a bit of money from the FA Trophy final and I'll try and force through more upgrades as soon as they become available. The transfers section makes sad reading, confirming what I've mentioned a few times in this and previous posts. Moro also opted to leave England for Dundee, meaning I again got no compensation for overseeing the formative years of his career. Both had poor seasons, with Bas only scoring 2 goals for St Pats and Moro scoring no goals in 11 starts for Dundee. I do think we'd have got promoted if we'd managed to hold on to Moro but hopefully that will come next season.

v1n1akabozo
Ok guys, so for the pat 12 hours (i think?), and only because i really hate myself, I've converted that spreadsheet that gives us the ranges for the hidden attributes into a portable console application which is capable to save the info into a CSV file, which means no more calculating manually the HA's for each player. Is anyone willing to test it out? I've tested it with all the 78 players of my club against the original spreadsheet, and after many fixes it looks good now. But i must mention that as i lack several personalities at my club, some ranges might not me accurate right now. It works by using the 'print' screen feature of the game into a text file, which the app then process. What i need right now is for people that have more variety on personalities to extract the .txt file and send me so i can test more personalities. Edit: On my team i've found 18 of the 40 available personalities, so i definitively need more samples. I'm assuming you're working off my spreadsheet? Here are all my 32 seasons of Team & Youth player exports. I also popped out just the Personlity+MH guide part of the spreadsheet. I have the link at the top of the page to the googlesheet that this all comes from as none of this is my work, I just use it to build the ranges. From my intakes I have generated 3/4 of the personalities. This pie chart is hideous, but it shows the percentages of all the personalities I've gotten in 30 years of intakes. I'm missing 10 out of 40. As you can see I've been working on my spreadsheet as well and will probably have a new version to share this week if anyone is interested. One thing i don't have is a FM24 version of the views as I didn't buy the new game [knew it would stop me playing in Barbados even with the export fn they added]. So if anyone has rebuilt it for FM24, lmk and I'll share it with the group. I've based myself on the one that BlueZoro posted for FM20 a few years ago: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nmtUSDpKDpKrZ2BjnnyTZ9O1TaOpaMJFKb4GayoqcZo Knowing which personalities doesn't show helps! My main concern is that as the media handling style heavily influences into the calculations, if i randomly chose an unreal combination it might not work. I guess i'll just create a save with real madri and look for those other personalities in real players and try some combinations. Popular Post DrJones
Oriental Dragon 2029/30 Our first season in the second tier went way better than I expected. We were solid and managed to get fourth but we had a long way to the three top teams. I wouldn´t mind staying in this league for a few more years so we can build a really solid foundation when we enter the first division. Squad I really like that some of our most important players are chinese now. The biggest concern is that our best centre back by far Yao Jiapeng won´t renew his contract and without him our defence will be much much weaker. Chinese Prospects Probably our best player already, I will do whatever it takes for him to stay. He made one of the winger spots his this season and if we don´t get something crazy in any of the upcoming intakes he´ll have a spot in the starting XI for many years to come. Other news China qualified for the world cup and eight proud chinese boys from Almada went and got absolutely smashed for three games. But who cares? They maybe laughing at us now, but just wait and see.. Youth Intake History
korvalis
Looks like I'm going to have to call it a day in Sweden. I've been completely unable to hire any new staff over the winter break. Most new staff want wages of £400 per week, my board is being generous and giving me a budget of £200 per week, and when asked to increase it, they did. To £200 per week. Popular Post WhiteCat33
This has been a personal goal of mine for this save: We made the NxGn List from Barbados!! He's still under 18 so not an "official" Wonderkid, thankfully he has no release clause in his contract and has a 3 year extension ontop of this. Makoto Nakamura
2027 Youth Candidates I was sold the dream on centrebacks and the best one can't actually play there but this is still a really good intake, it will just need some retraining!

BustaRaymes
I can't remember having a match like this in 28 years of playing FM / CM. I'm still processing what happened. 2nd in the league vs 1st in the league, 1 point apart: In the 91st minute I thought we pulled back a 4-0 and even go on to win it, just to actually lose it in the end. Two disallowed goals as well. And this is what it does: The only positive is that we have 4 games left to play. It would've been even more awesome as well as painful if this was the final game.
seatdean
AYSA - Season 3 (2026) * Season Overview: Our first season in the Zimbabwe Premier League was beginning, neither the media nor the board were very optimistic in their predictions but my boys believed in their options. Although at first the team did not start well, as the games went by the team found its form and finished in an excellent third place. The next objective will be to get a place in the international cups. * Competition Performance: Winning the cup the previous season allowed us to play in the super cup against Dynamos Harare. Of course, we were no match for the best team in Zimbabwe and they welcomed us to the top division. In the national cup we maintained the title in another great season. * Academy: The 'factory' once again left us some very useful boys, two forwards with good personalities and who have the level to compete for a place in the first team. Now we have an overpopulation of center forwards, so one of them will be trained as a winger. Hot prospects: Lot Nhamoinesu - Francisco Nhatave - Ephraim Menala * Transfers: Spoiler
dkouv
Brora Rangers – Season 1 (2024/25) I’m trying out Scotland this year, with Brora Rangers, situated near the Highlands and Loch Ness providing a suitably mysterious setting for the adventure. League two The squad was actually decent for this level, and we built up a solid lead at the top of the table in the first half of the season. The second half was much more dodgy, but a key win away against 3rd-placed Dumbarton (with 2 injury-time goals from us) boosted our promotion chances, and we got the promotion to League one on the last day. Players: Our attackers are really good, with Andrew Macrae (ST), rated as leading League One player, the star of the show with 32 goals in 38 games this season. The less said about the defence the better, I’m hoping the coming intakes give us a boost in that area. Youth intake (preview): A decent first intake with one standout player Englishman Charlie Bimson 01a (AMR), but there is a distinct lack of defensive talent which is what I need most. Facilities (season start vs season end): Were terrible to start with, but we had enough money to upgrade youth facilities, and upgrade coaching & recruitment a few times, so we’re getting there. By the way, I don’t have an U19 team - does anyone know if it’s a bug? Transfers: let some oldies go at the end of the season Season | League | Pos. | Europe | Best player | Notes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024/25 | League 2 | 1 | n/a | Andrew Macrae (ST) | Promoted Facilities ---------- Season | Coaching | Recruitment | Training Fac. | Youth Fac. | Stadium ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2024 | Basic | Limited | Basic | Poor | 3000 2024/25 | Adequate | Fairly basic | Basic | Basic | 3000
korvalis
As I've had to given up Sweden due to staff hiring shenanigans , it's off to good old England, for bingo in Basingstoke. There are some good things about this team namely the junior coaching, and some bad, though the affiliates can hopefully be cancelled / ignored without too much trouble. The Fulham link is technically the better of the two, just shared scouting knowledge. and hey it's me,
Makoto Nakamura
2027 End of Season Review A worse end to the season but we're going to get worse before we get better, right now the league average age is 27 whilst our average age is just 22 and we only have five first team players over age 25 with three of them having their contract expire at the end of the season as well! Overall Best XI 2027 Best XI Ronaldo (ResD) Bruno Leonardo - Jonathan (ResE) - Fabricio Baldo (YP2j) Gabriel Miragaia (ResF) - Denis - Tauã - Elizeu (YP2g) Alan (YP0g) - Yavir Kadir (ResB) - Chrigor
