Popular Post Ronaldo Beckham
Aachen FC Season 3 Review Competitions A season where we went a bit backwards but considering we had a very young squad with a lot of our players wanting to leave we did better then expected and I was shocked we didn't get relegated. Luckily the board had the same idea and was just happy for us to just avoid getting relegated which we managed to do but only just. Our finances weren't the best this year with us being in the red for most of the season. I think we managed to convince the board to improve academy coaching though. We need a decent sale to help the finances. Best Players Ismail Harnafi Our top goalscorer was Harnafi who scored 19 goals for the season and a good average rating of 6.97. Mitchell Bach Bach was our best overall player with an average rating of 7.23 and he also scored 16 goals and 9 assists. Unfortunately he wanted to leave so he is off to SC Freiburg for £850k but we do get 30% on the profit of his next transfer. Joe Majerus(S1YP3) Our best youth player was Joe Majerus(S1YP3) who got the most assists for the season with 11 assists. He also scored 6 goals. He is another player who wants to leave but luckily nobody has bidded enough for him to go just yet but we might face losing him on a free transfer.

mschafer13
First time doing this challenge. Second year with Dulwich Hamlet. Somehow survived the first year with only 10 players, but now have some decent youth to fill out the team. For this challenge - what are the rules around club affiliations? Can I set up a link with a bigger club and get players in that way? Or the challenge is literally only using regens that come through your club every spring?

You can have affiliates, but no loans or transfers or anything. The "In" part of the transfer history should be empty every season. And your manager history should be this: So the only players you can use are players from the intake and the original squad. No one else, ever, no exceptions from loans or anything. Only academy players. Clear enough?

Finished in a record time. You get good teams with good facilities and dont really need to improve anything due to the high youth rating. Once you get into the Libertadores, which is easier than making it into the Champions League, you can improve stuff. thanks @resurectedja will give it a go as indonesia is finished

Popular Post CJ'43
Kavala Football Club / Αθλητικός Όμιλος Καβάλα Season 34 - 2057/58 Schedule / Squad / Transfers / Finances / Manager Season summary: We've done it again—back on top in the Super League for the 8th time in 15 years! It was a solid campaign overall. Despite finishing 3 points behind Asteras Tripolis in the regular season, we showed our strength in the championship group, winning 6 out of 10 games and losing only twice. This strong performance allowed us to finish two points ahead of Olympiacos, securing the title. In the Cup, our journey ended in the semi-finals against Asteras Tripolis, after defeating PAS Giannina and Panathinaikos in earlier rounds. Unfortunately, the Champions League was a major disappointment. We dropped points against teams we should have beaten—Feyenoord and Lyon at home, and PSV away—which cost us a spot in the knockout stages. This setback is a significant obstacle in our ongoing quest for European success. On a positive note, along with the Greek title, I was honored once again with the Manager of the Year award. Ilias Giannikoglou 47b continued his incredible form, finishing as our top scorer with 21 goals, bringing his total to 154 goals in 265 appearances for the club. Several of our players were also named in the Super League Best XI: LB: Valon Hasani 44e RB: Thodoros Bedrelis 47e DM: Pierre 54a, the 19-year-old Brazilian, was also recognized as the 2nd most promising young player in the world by NXGN. CAM: Giorgos Lyberakis 46a, with an impressive average of 7.15 points per game, was one of our most consistent players this season. RW: Giorgos Terzis 45h Youth intake: it looks promising with a few exciting prospects. We've signed 9 new players, including striker Kostas Panos 58a, right midfielder Stratis Antoniou 58b, and defender Vangelis Marantas 58c. The future looks bright! Popular Post Koetzer
Livorno | Season 2048/49 | Serie A Not the best result (missed a chance to finish 6th with losing to Atalanta at home in the end), but surely the best performance so far and deserved European qualification! I think we have a chance to progress far in the Conference League. Coppa Italia Got even closer to our first quarter-final, but lost with the 11th penalty in shootout. Squad stats C.Sardelli *38a and E.Taglioli *39d – both our right wingers had a great season, giving me quite a tough choice before every game. L.Annunziata *37a – remained our top goalscorer (though I wish we had a more consistent striker). B.Corsi *40a – still our leader in midfield. D.Fabbrizzi *44i – our key center-back and league’s best young defender now. H.Ambrose *43d – full-back positions are still our weak spots, but this young Nigerian played quite well. C.Caforio *31d – another club veteran to retire, he played 378 games and scored 26 goals for us. Transfers – our veteran DM Pedaggi (254 games) couldn’t save Spezia from relegation. Youth intake (preview) Castelnuovo *49a | Marcucci *49b | Mazzoni *49c | Del Signore *49d | Piazza *49e A potentially top class left winger and a few other decent players. Also the board finally approved one more youth affiliate – Feirense from second Portuguese league (though I didn't feel any benefits from our previous affiliations, no one of Uruguayan, Serbian or Croatian players in our intakes was really promising).
Ronaldo Beckham
Aachen FC Season 4 Review Competitions A nice 7th place finish this season. We are getting back on track after the blip of last season. Finances We managed to stay out of the red this time thanks to having £8m at the end of last season. £5M of it coming from Other section in the income which looks a bit dodgy but who am I to complain lol. With that extra money we were able to upgrade the training facilities. Our Youth Facilities initially got downgraded but we have convinced the board to upgrade the Youth Facilities which will be completed soon. We also now have Excellent academy coaching and Good Youth recruitment. Facilities Best Players Piotr Basta(S3YP5) Bastamania running wild brotha!!! Basta really stepped up this season. Especially as a lot of players left or will be leaving when their contracts expire. He was our top goalscorer with 21 goals and he got 8 assists as well. He also had the best average rating of 7.16 Sadly he wants us to improve the squad before he commits to a new contract. If I get a decent offer I will accept but I am hoping he changes his mind and commits to us. Manuel Wimmer(S1YP4) Wimmer was another one of our stand out players with 10 assists and 5 goals. Also a very good average rating of 6.98. Hopefully next season we get into the Play Offs.
naterr
Ashanti Gold update - Cancelled Sorry if anyone was enjoying this (doubt it as it was very early days ), but I don't think the database I used plays well for Youth Academy challenges. My first season in the top league and I breezed the league and qualified for the champions league - then in the champions league, the next season (this is my fourth season) we got to the final and lost. We out classed the other team and it just didn't feel like a "challenge" it felt like I would win it in the next year and as it was a custom database it didn't feel right to keep updating it...so I am going to move on to a different league, which is in the vanilla game.
naterr
Question for the experts: If your team doesn't have an U-18 team - do you still get youth intakes? djsterry
we go again, decided to pick the worst team available 10000-1 pre season odds A bit of an unusual background to the club- formed by a Bus company, The Club Mutual Crucero del Norte, was born as an idea more than two decades ago, when employees of the company and the Koropeski family, participated and followed the alternatives of the indoor soccer team, which won numerous local, provincial and national tournaments, with outstanding participations in South American championships. Given the repercussion that this enthusiastic training was taking, directors of the transport company together with a group of collaborators, began to give shape to this idea, that of a club of their own, where the employees' families have their space for leisure, recreation and sports.

Yes, as long as the club has anything other than "none" in youth recruitment and youth coaching, you get intakes. Of course, lacking a U18 team will put them into any other team you have, but that's about it.

Lucky for us this was a tight group this year and two draws latter and we advance. Caribbean Playoff: Clean sheets see us on to the main event. NACL 2nd Round 1st Leg: Spoiler Kept the 4-2-3-1 that has been working and just switched to a cautious mentality and FB instead of WB roles. 4 min their AMR dribbled my whole team and slotted it to the striker who scored. Yikes. They got a second a minute later off a missed mark. 18’ Vickers takes a fantastic shot form the top of the box that their GK just barely gets with a fingertip save. Then 22’ another from Cassidey with their GK doing some serious acrobatics to keep it out. Ends up that awful start cost us. Real bummer we couldn’t pull one back to get at least an away goal. 2nd Leg: Spoiler Our striker let us down today. 3 clear cut chances in the first half and we couldn’t get a goal. Team still played pretty well with a number of youth in the team, so optimistic for next year. 82’ Jackson, who I’d moved up to the AF spot, finally got one in! By the end we had an xG of 3.33 with 5 clear cut chances off 17 shots, yet we could only manage 1 goal. Young offensive struggles. NACL Tournament Tree: Not a shock but Monterrey won their 6th title in the past 7 seasons: Spoiler Squad: CA Player List: Spoiler Excel Graphs: Spoiler Player count is rising up as I have a bunch of non-contract players in the reserve squad right now. A clear-out this summer is in order. We have a changing of the guard in top CA, with my new LB/RB Goodridge jumping to the top of the pile as my old men begin declining. Determination is dipping significantly right now and you can see many lower quality personalities filling up the team. You can see my GK's CA decline very clearly as he loses his physical ability. The midfield dipped low because I am playing lots of youngsters right now to jumpstart their development. I have fixed the issue resulting in the error for Defense, but haven't re-exported the data yet. CA & RA Tables: Spoiler DMs still are the weak point, but my two starters play better than the CA would suggest. Midfield RA again looks suspect, but that is due to heavy rotation of youngsters to build up the squad. For the big-games we are looking the best this club has ever been. Formation: With two clear Attacking Midfielders arriving in our past two intakes it was a no-brainer to switch to the 4-2-3-1. It is relatively standard with the lone exception of Rhys Jackson. For Barbados Jackson has played exclusively as the AMR support second striker in a 4-2-3-1 system. So much so he gained Natural Ability in that position just form national team play. When I select him my AsMan suggests to play him as a "Raumdeuter", a role I have never used in FM. Having experimented it seems to suit him very well as it gives him better matchups on FBs instead of CBs and he gets to use his 16 Off the Ball to find spaces. Since my strongest player is my RB in Goodridge he can handle the added defensive responsibilities. Spoiler Player Highlights: Shockingly Sheran Goodridge stopped wanting to leave and I pounced with a new deal. 4+2 years at 15k p/w makes him the 3rd highest paid player at the club. Well worth that moderate cost. Spoiler In a theme this spring Rhys Jackson also stopped asking to leave, so of course I went and signed a new deal. This one will cost the club: 4+1 Year deal at $85k p/w base salary, with a significant number of bonuses adding up to a total value of $17.25 Million USD. Dude is making English money now so hopefully that will shut him up about wanting to leave for greener pastures and finally be happy and perform for us. He makes almost double the other star Barbados striker who plays for QPR in the Championship earing 49k p/w. Spoiler Transfers: Totally forgot about this poached GK. Scunthrope are in the Vanarama National, so I expect a domestic Barbados club to bring him back someday. Spoiler Lots of loans this year and still selling off / letting go older depth. Spoiler Best XI: Excel Tables: I reorganized the tables now that I've added Team's 10 Highest Players by Role Ability. Spoiler Head Coach: No Change Club Improvements: I mean, if you're willing to give me more affiliates now Mr. Chairman I'm not going to say no. Martinique is now added to the stable. If I was going to play long-term this would be great in a development perspective. Better facilities than BRB clubs, and the chance for NACL early round matches as well as lots of good ratings if you can win games. Spoiler Youth Academy: HOYD: No Change Youth Intake Preview: Well the Golden Generation had to end sometime… Spoiler Youth Intake: ... or "technically" not, Hola South America! Spoiler Top 3 Players: Spoiler Our Chilean Ivan Cabello is very welcome to give us another young FB prospect. He won’t have the speed or skill to go forward, but focusing in on his defensive attributes he should be able to become a viable replacement. Our Uruguayan Carlos Torres is a lackluster CAM. Resolute Kerry Warner could become a rotation AML if he leverages that personality to develop, ‘cause he sure needs it. At least he’s quick. Excel Tables: Regardless of what my HOYD thinks, the data shows this is clearly not at the level of the previous 3 Golden Generation intakes. Spoiler I do like to see the rise upwards in determination and somewhat professionalism off the lows 3 intakes ago. Clear drop in both top-end CA as well as CA depth. No new records. Only Defensive players are up from the Golden Generation period, which is evident in the LB I highlighted as well as a second LB with low potential but good CA. I've had this data for a while but never shared it. Unconvinced with the stacked bars as the best way to display it. I might break out individual graphs for each personality I'm highlighting. The most interesting information here is the rise of "Light-Hearted" coinciding with switching to a Model Citizen HOYD from Fairly Professional. You can then see the drop-off in F.P. from the 3rd most likely personality to a rare one in the future seasons. Youth Nationalities: I've been lazy of collecting the youth nationalities since Barbados is pretty uniform in what you get. With the added affiliates I updated the export to start tracking our foreign players again. In just 3 years of affiliates Chillie and Jamaica are already #4 & #5 Nationalities. Can you see why I've been frustrated not getting affiliates for so long? [I'll convert to full names next season, that takes more work] Spoiler Barbados National Team: A big year for Barbados as we went to the World Cup! Sadly, it was a bloodbath with Ukraine and Argentina as matchups. 3 World Cups now and Barbados has yet to register a goal let alone a point. Still an accomplishment to make it to the WC and doing so saw a new peak World Rank of Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Fitzgerald Atkins: In what is a first for me without managing the national team my goalkeeper had his 200th International Cap during the World Cup window. For two decades he has been the man between the sticks for Barbados. I'm assuming he will be retiring form the national team in the next year or so. All my field players retire at 31/32 from the national team. Spoiler Barbados Youth: Spoiler Caribbean International Performance: World Cup: Haiti Fell to Romania & South Africa at the group stage. Jamaica had a tough group with Spain & Japan and bombed out as well. All 3 countries failed to earn even a point in the group stage. World Cup history will be made when either Croatia or Switzerland claim the best nation in 2070! Spoiler Summary Without NACL matches I was able to properly train this year and work to quickly develop my young talents ahead of schedule and I think it worked. While most are decent, both Aiden Cassidy and Renaldo Morris have become real stars in our attacking midfield. Question will be if they can perform on the big stage at such a young age. Clock is ticking on my GK... Spoiler Edited August 14 by WhiteCat33

Popular Post dkouv
Poole Town – Season 13 (2036/37) Championship. I thought we might suffer second season syndrome as our form in the beginning was pretty atrocious, but as the youngsters developed throughout the year we hit a very strong run and almost made the play-offs, finishing one place outside in 7th. Cups We made it to the league cup quarter final, and the fifth round of the FA cup. Players Jamie Owen 09a (AMRLC) hit double figures for both goals and assists this season, and Ronan Richardson 10a (DMC) is developing very nicely but his performances are not amazing since he's always wanting out of the club. In general we look very strong in midfield and pretty good in defense, with Baily Turl 10c (DRL/DM) the latest addition to the first-team roster. We do look a bit light in the attacking department - I wish I didn't retrain all those winger prospects as fullbacks those season ago when I had no defenders, as now the squad situation has reversed a bit. In general quite a few of our players are now rated League 1 or Championship quality with PL potential, as opposed to some VNL level players we had in the first team just a couple of seasons ago. Youth intake (preview): Ever since putting my HOYD back in charge (thanks @WhiteCat33!), we keep getting strong intakes, 4 elite talents this time, nobody first-team ready but a good spread of positions and ok personalities. Facilities A £4.8m end-of-season solidarity payment allowed us to upgrade training and youth facilities again. Transfers: nothing of note. Popular Post naterr
Naterr Garcia - Barwell FC - 24/25 League We got off to a flying start in the league - 4 wins out of 6 left us feeling pretty confident. Then I didn't win for 11 games. Our team was in OK shape when I took over, predicted 23rd of 24, but most of them were on non contracts and as soon as we started winning the players found new clubs. We struggled until we got the youth intake in, we needed to reinforcements, and when they arrived they were put to work - even though they are pretty green (club colour based pun!) We finished 18th and very happy after being relegated on my last few attempts. Our XG was a bit different...we were 11th in the XG table - shall I take that as a good thing? Cups 4th round for the FA Trophy, and 4th qualifying round for the FA cup were good enough for the year - they gave us a bit of money which is always helpful. Speaking of Money.. Sales Apart from the freebies who left for new clubs (without giving us their standard 4 week notice!!) we had one big sale. Emini Rouse Spoiler Rouse was our best player, and was here when we arrived, unfortunately the clubs above detected he had good potential and came to plunder. Originally, he asked me to accept offers of £700, luckily I ignored him. I did the tried and tested tactic of accepting one offer and rejecting the rest, and slowly but surely baiting the price up. We managed to get £450k, with 50% profit on next sell too. Incredible! However he is worth a lot more now. I think this is a good thing, hopefully they sell him and we make funds off him. I have added him to the shortlist to keep track of his career. With these new funds - I asked for facility upgrades but they refused, also refusing the coaching badges I need too! Youth Intake Decent enough youth intake - promised excellent - wasn't what I was hoping for, for the first intake. Alex Lee Spoiler He is a big guy who can jump and is brave - that is it. 3 in strength!!!!!! Team of the Year Enoru with the highest rating - his goals have been vital but struggling to get him to sign a new deal! As pictured above, we have gone for a nice attacking 4-4-2. We don't believe in defense, just getting the ball as far forward as possible and as quick as possible. Admin I've also stolen the idea for the Bingo card! It's a great idea!

Popular Post mpm2342
Crewe United 2027 Season Update Season 4 Update: We survived the season without being relegated. It was closer than it looks as we won the last 3 in the extra round to put some distance between us and the other teams. Hopefully we can be in the top half this coming season and start contending soon. Once again we managed to get the board to improve the youth recruitment and got a junior coaching tossed in for good measure. Our financial situation means the board won't even talk about a facilities upgrade. We have a magical monthly fundraising income that manages to keep our budget balanced each season, but we won't likely see any facilities upgrades until we can make some money - likely selling players. So far, a few are garnering interest, but only for free transfers. Transfers: Spoiler Youth Candidates: For the fourth year in a row, we could have the makings of a potential 'golden generation' I feel that is more a representation of how bad the current squad is than the actual quality of the intake, but it does indicate that these players are good enough to help the team. Ryan Cooper is by far the best youngster we have gotten so far and will immediately slot into the starting lineup. Cooper got 3 1st team games in and 2 months of mentoring and his personality has already changed from Low Determination to Fairly Professional - very happy to see that. A fair number of low determination this time, but also a couple of professionals to age gracefully into mentors even if they can't play well enough. Mostly Northern Ireland again, though we did have one dude: Ming Kai Neubronner who's second nation is Singapore.... I have only been counting first nations when looking at the source of intake and for the purpose of the Bingo scoreboard. Brian Stitt had a good season with 12 goals moving him solidly in the lead for youth goals. Squad Update: Here is how the squad is rated heading into next season. The 3 original players are still in starting roles and looks like it could stay that way for a couple more seasons as long as they don't move on. Sharvin played very well in the AF role, scoring 32 goals in league and cup play over 42 games. Stitt was also very good in the AM position, so I am pleased with that shift. Black played well, but gets bumped by Cooper. They will likely split time as they are both still pretty young and I want to be sure they get training time in. Quinn has very solid progression as did Breslin in the back. Fingers crossed for another couple of years of growth like this for Quinn: The starting squad improved by 1.7 rating points last season, taking a nice jump. Moved Quinn to BWM given his improvement there and to take advantage of his 20 AGG. He is only 1.3 points below the Championship standard (which is the average of the top 6 rated players in the role at the beginning). Cooper comes into the squad as a new youth and is already only 2.2 points below his target. Both of these two should be leading Premier players for us if we can hold them that long. Bingo One more turned green. Edited August 16 by mpm2342
Popular Post Weed07
I've tried and failed this challenge a couple of times but wanted to give it another go. This years version has been the first time I've been able to do it with my local club but as they have only just been promoted to the league below the conference north they are one of the worst possible teams with one of the lowest reputations so its taken me months of reloading saves on and off to try and get them promoted, I'd say its been literally several hundreds of reloads in between other saves but eventually I got them promoted and I can start this challenge again and I'm determined to see it through with my local team. So I'm now the manager of Workington Reds.

Neo_Geo
BUILDING FOUNDATIONS IN SEASON 3 A promising season which saw us finish 2nd in the league to a far superior Hajduk side, reaching the final of the Croatian Cup to lose to Hajduk and reaching the round of 16 in the Europa Conference League. I've been bleeding a few of the youngsters this season but their overall performances haven't been that great and we are very much still relying on the original cast. I'm not concerned at this stage but I'd like to see the youth step their performances up in the next season as we are probably about 3 years away from the transition from original squad to youth players in the XI being in full swing. A number of or youth players are involved in the national setup at the youth level which is also encouraging. I dabbled with a few formations this year as alternatives with the 4-3-3 DM Wide still being the first choice, 4-2-3-1 Wide as the back-up then adding a 4-2-4 Wide as the third choice. The main strength in our team is one the wings and in particular Filip Vajdovčić who on the right wing scored 16 in 37 appearances and 8 assists. Hajduk are simply way too good at this moment in time and for now I am happy to sit in the shadows building up the quality within the squad and continue to improve our facilities and second place this year was a bonus. We had been in that position most of the season but in the last 5 games we really started to dip in form and played Hajduk 3 times in a row in the cup (2 leg final) and in the league losing 2 and drawing 1. Luckily we held out and got the Europa League spot. In Europe we scraped into the Europa Conference proper after beating FC Nordsjælland 4-1 at home in the first league we collapsed in the second leg and lost it 4-1 but managed to crawl over the line with a win on penalties. The draw in the league was really rather favourable allowing us to pick up 11 points from 18 and qualify for the knock out play offs where we played IF Elfsborg who we drew with in the league phase at their ground and a narrow win drew us against Sparta Prague who were just too strong and who put Dinamo Zagreb out in the quarter final on penalties after dumping us out. The club is ticking along very nicely with the facilities now improving, finances are boosted by the European money, season tickets and average attendance all increasing. Our reputation home and abroad continues to improve well ahead of schedule. I am still frustrated by the U17 rule but it just means a few more years until I reach a point of being able to fully embed the youth in the first team but the U19s team having no fixtures is still a real pain as I'm having to arrange friendlies. If the youth facilities gets maxed then the youth players will have the best facilities here at the club but no match time unless I manually schedule fixtures for them as the current settings for the U19s friendlies just won't work. League Results Domestic Cup Results European Results and League Youth Intake I got a Scottish Elite talent this year in the intake and he looks a fairly promising prospect, the question is whether he is deemed good enough to play when he hits 16. It actually seems a little bit of a cheat because if a player is allowed to play when they are 16 it suggests their potential is better than the 16 year olds that can't play. However, this assumes that the game is using the actual potential ratings and isn't just guesstimating it based on other attributes. Youth Intake Preview Euan McLeod Y3-A Sven Horkas Y3-A Vito Hoic Y3-A Hrvoje Dramac Y3-A Maks Hranjec Y3-A Sven Pasaricek Y3-A Zinedin Bajramovic Y3-A Although the intake shows McLeod as the best player coming through I really like Hrovje Dramac Y3-A. He's already made his debut this season and as I mentioned with him being 16 this must mean he has a lot of potential (relatively speaking). He also has professional personality and is already improving from his short time at the club. The intake didn't give me much quality on the left wing as it was primarily dominated by central midfielders and defenders with a few on the right. Left back still troubles me as there is no obvious player coming through but luckily my current 2 players at left back are 25 and 24 so I may have a few years to spare in getting a quality player come through in that position. Club News A very good year as far as the club was concerned with coaching courses and improvements being approved by the board with a small amount of persuading involved. Continental A Coaching Course Junior Coaching Budget Increase 1 Junior Coaching Budget Increase 2 Training Facilities Improvement Youth Training Facilities Improvement Youth Recruitment Improvement In other news the number of Champions League places was increased which is very pleasing to see given Hajduk don't look like giving up first place anytime soon. Squad News The squad is still largely as it was with a few of the youth players starting to rack up appearances and experience. It's very unusual for me to just be arriving at this point 3 seasons in as I'd usually look to blood youngsters at the end of season 1 and fully in season 2 so its taking some time to adjust to delaying things a year or two. Squad Profile The best eleven shows we aren't performing that great overall despite getting the results to take us to second but as long as I start to see steady improvements over the next few seasons I won't be overly concerned by this. Bingo Card Another 2 targets marked off for the European progress this year. Continental A license will come next year and I'd expect the 50 club appearances will also be hit.

Excel Tables & Graphs: Future Analysis Spoiler As I prepare for my next save in Martinique I've been working on adding additional data-points to track throughout the save. One obvious one is City & Nation of Birth. I'd like the challenge in my next save of generating a player form every possible town in Martinique. Since I don't have longitudinal data yet here is the raw data & simple bar graph: For the next save I plan to add in Club Data & HOYD Data to eventually be able to directly compare youth intake outcomes over time as the facilities improve. I "limited" myself to 10 variables for the Club & Hoyd to track. Idea is I just change the selectors when progress occurs and the data is automatically added to the year-end export line for Team & Youth. I'm out to Column HM on the yearly export, so it's becoming a pretty large dataset I'm automatically generating. I've built a full Academy Intake database, but haven't finished any analysis with it yet. Big news that we crossed the 800 mark of players produced from the club! Long term objective is to use these initial CA data points for current player development (like what is in the game). Thanks to @Neo_Geo I've built my Bingo for Martinique! Here's a fun teaser of the bottom right objectives: Barbados National Team: A year of friendlies, so nothing exciting to report. Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Spoiler Barbados Youth: Spoiler Summary I'm losing steam in Barbados especially after such a boring season without NACL matches. I used all that holiday time between matches to work towards getting the excel file ready for the next Caribbean adventure. This next season will be my final attempt at the NACL title with Road View (at least for the time being). The team is very good right now as long as my Goalkeeper just keeps on trucking. Yes, his Speed/Agility are dead but he can still jump and has okay balance, so isn't a liability in goal. Spoiler I plan to play till I get eliminated from the continental competition and then do a 50-year roundup of my Caribbean World. I want to establish how good/bad the leagues I have loaded developed into here to set the bar high for Martinique.

Road View Internationals: Barbados Main: Reveal hidden contents Barbados Youth: Reveal hidden contents Summary I'm losing steam in Barbados especially after such a boring season without NACL matches. Reveal hidden contents I plan to play till I get eliminated from the continental competition and then do a 50-year roundup of my Caribbean World. I want to establish how good/bad the leagues I have loaded developed into here to set the bar high for Martinique. What program do you use to compile the data for the excel charts?
WhiteCat33
Just now, iamnobody said: What program do you use to compile the data for the excel charts? It's all in one massive excel file. I use the standard game export with a custom view to get the raw data out as webpages, which can be opened with excel. Each one gets added into the workbook and then I have a rough-and-ready manual selection to switch between Years & Team / Youth / Opposition. This copies the raw data into a temporary Data-sheet, which is then used by all the formulas. I then have a worksheet to export the analysis into longitudinal secondary datasets. I currently do 4 exports. The top green line twice for Youth & Team. Blue line once for all time player records (still in development). Then Purple 16 lines into a Youth Intake Player record (no analysis yet). It could be done with Macros, but I'm just manually doing it right now [hence why I haven't gone back and re-exported the Team data]. If I find the motivation, this would be a perfect reason to learn how to use Access to set up a proper database of all this data. I used it back in college, but as the years go by it gets harder to remember what to do...

It's my Frankenstein creation . Old version from the Winter is on Mediafire: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/z6k77x3z9wj9z/WhiteCatStats When I start Martinique, I'll upload an updated version with the many improvements I've added this summer. My Moneyball Statistics spreadsheet is in that folder as well. Can be helpful if you're playing in a bigger country where it's not a rocket-ship to the top of the domestic league. Look up my St Louis City Moneyball career save if you're interested in how that one works. Edited August 16 by WhiteCat33

I'm happy to share, and hope it helps in your save! It currently doesn't have any instructions on how to use the spreadsheet, so documentation will be part of my project this weekend to get the spreadsheet done for Martinique. With how I set up the game for Martinique [I already have the team & played pre-season] I think it's going to be way harder than Barbados, and you have seen my struggles here. Financially Martinique is weaker than Barbados. Even in 2071 only the top 2-3 teams make enough money to remain professional. The rest build up big balances, go professional then go broke and revert to semi-pro. Road View is in Bridgeview, which is a 100k person city in Barbados while any possible team to select in Martinique is from a village under 10k population. The one I got is a 2500 population surfing town. I enabled France, England & The Netherlands. All Youth Intake players are dual-citizen Martinique - France, so count as domestic players for French & Dutch clubs. The key to winning from the Caribbean is retaining 100% of your star intake players. It will be near impossible to do this in Martinique But I can't resist the possibility of winning the French Cup from Martinique, so that's why I'm choosing the nation over a more viable country like Trinidad & Tobago.

Thebaker
2036 Table | Squad | Transfers Started the season in ok form where the team was drawing a bit and not really getting the results they should but some points above the relegation spots, In the 2nd half of the season the team lost all form with the defense a mess and all the players out of form. Gained only 8 points from the last 13 games to get relegated on the last day. Board feedback was down to F but wasn't sacked. Several of my players now want to leave of course. Finances went down a bit due to increased costs although i squeezed an extra coach from the board, a rare approved request. Johansson was one of the few players who really raised his game to lead the line and his drop in form was instrumental in the teams poor form. As a result i let Strom (117 apps, 32 goals)go at the end of the season. I also got rid of Abdirahman (136 apps) whose poor performances had got too much, he never really improved after coming through. Olsen retired and Nadin left who had been longtime players. The preview was the best yet and led to an intake where some players were not too far off the first team. Ali looks good but the team is strong in CM, Fors also has a lot to like on first look. The team is really weak in defense and GK so Petersson has some good attributes but could do with improving especially quickness. Its 10 years since the 26 intake came though and only 1 player has made an significant impact. Rated with only 2 star potential when coming through, Athanasiou has been the mainstay of the midfield for years although has developed a negative personality in the last few season. A few other players made a handful of appearances before leaving and then retiring.
