Popular Post kaivolax
Season 9 Review SC Westfalia Herne League Table A 3rd place finish and the second automatic promotion spot! Losing Woitzyk last January surprisingly didn't affect us much as his replacement, AMC convert Ilhan scored 20 league goals and 29 in total. In the DFB-Pokal progress went backwards and we were out in the 2nd round against Köln. In the Verbandspokal sixth final in a row and the third trophy! Youth Intake Haller and Yilmaz look like decent prospects but no one is first time ready at the moment. Club Statistics Money from Ammen sell on clause is now spent on facilities and we are soon in the red again. Elsewhere Season 10 Preview Odds for survival looking rough. Though with a slightly lighter schedule with 4 less league matches and only 1 cup competition we should be able to play every game with our best 11.
JD78
Thinking of combining a youth only save with a build a nation save. Playing as 2 managers. One club will be classic youth only and I'll hopefully stay with them for the whole save. Probably use 'my' profile for that club. Then add another manager to start a build a nation with the idea that this manager will get 1 team to a level that they're consistently getting in Europe and the facilities are vastly improved, then moving to another team in the nation to improve them and so on. Hopefully the classic youth only club will be able to tag along! The reason being that I love a youth only save but sometimes miss the scouting aspect of the game. I've also had this idea about a roaming manager for the build a nation which sounds good in principle but it's very hard to leave a good team that you've built and go elsewhere! If I call manager 2 something like Journey Man it might make it easier! Can anyone recommend a league for this challenge? Ideally Europe and ideally a short season to keep it manageable. Malta perhaps? Or Gibraltar?

Stopped mostly because I really wanted to try the youth only save. The Gibraltar save was even more fun and more challenging when the game enforced the rule of having 4 home grown players on the pitch at all times. FM only enforces having 4 in the lineup, but not on the pitch. When players are in Gibraltar for 3 years (I think my memory is right) they can take citizenship and then a year or two later, they can play for the national team.

Popular Post Skora11
RC Jaen Season 24/25 I finally managed to get a good save going in Spain, and my club of choice was RC Jaen. A fairly small City in Southern Spain and a club that could have great potential. The initial squad had some quality players but was a bit unbalanced, There were only 15 senior players and 4 of them were GK's. Nolla and Iriondo were great for this level but I had to come up with a formation to fit our best players in. I also had a lot of legacy players that were ageing and were due to retire soon. We had a very good season but faltered whenever injuries hit as we just didn't have the squad to compete over the course of the season. We managed to finish in the play-offs but lost in the semi final. My first intake looked decent, but nothing special. Although keep your eyes peeled for future seasons as some of the players that came through this intake feature in later seasons.
Skora11
RC Jaen Season 25/26 I mist admit, these seasons seem a long while ago and finding it difficult to remember too much that happened (lack of screenshots taken as well) so these initial seasons around the lower leagues will be pretty brief. We managed to improve positionally on the first season, finishing 2nd and only 3 points off top spot. We had a spell toward the season where we drew 3 and lost 2 so a few better results there could have seen us win the title. Again, any injuries to our senior team and we were struggling. A few had retired and the beginning of the season and many of the youngsters just weren't quite ready to play at this level. Many teams are professional, including us, but we had to relinquish our professional status as we were losing money and were relying on the board providing cash injections. It wasn't to be in the play-offs as we lost in the final 4-2 on aggregate. We had another 1 (possibly 2) players retire at the end of the season but the youngsters were now starting to play their part. Could we make that final push next season while we still had some of our top legacy players?

We finished 4th quite a distance off the top 3 teams but managed to win the Welsh Cup as TNS were knocked out in the second round, this means we are in the first round qualifiers of the Conference League. Managed to upgrade Youth Recruitment and Youth coaching. Should get a bit of money from UECL qualifying to upgrade youth facilities next season. Young players who came into the team did well but havent really progressed due to our poor training facilities and coaches. Played a combination of 4231 and 433. Will rename them bit McCabe 25a and Clarke 25b bolstered my midfield from last season, Phil Jones 25c and Paul Roberts 25d also started most games. A much better season for us as we finished 5th and qualfied for the Champions League for the first time. Popular Post XaW
XaW - Praiense - Season 2024/25 (Season 1) - Campeonato Nacional Prio D Squad | Transfers | Finances So our first season in Portugal went quite alright, and that's just fine. Now, I usually try to pick a club with an identity to take over, and I did it here too, but it might not be obvious. However, the identity of the club is that it's located in the Açores, the group of islands way out in the Atlantic. So I thought it would be fun to try to create a powerhouse here on the islands. When I took over the club, it was evident the first season would be tough, due to the lack of players at the club. So until the last game, when the youth intake had happened, we didn't have more than 2 subs on the bench at any given time. The season started really bad as we lost 4-1 two times in a row before we got our first set of points. From then on it went better, but we still conceded quite a few goals. Part of the reason is that we started with a single central defender, and I have to retrain a full back. As the season went on we did better, and in the end we stayed nicely clear of the relegation zone and we are looking at another season at the same tier. Taça de Portugal: We beat SC Angrense, Olhanense, Castro Daire, and Farense before we lost to União de Leiria in the 5th round. Popular Post mpm2342
Crewe United 2037 Season Update Season 13 Update: Finished 5th again this season with it being a little more comfortable this season. We once again won the playoff to get to Europe, beating Glentoran on penalties. We got a boost in our training facilities from last season's European money and another boost at the end of the season that is in progress. Transfers: Spoiler Youth Candidates: Still rolling on the streak of golden generations. We are getting very good players into the system such that the team now has enough potential to do very well if we can find a way to get some growth. We did get some decent growth last season for a couple of players, so hopefully a sign of things to come.. Decent personalities and some good potential. No immediate starters and one, McMurty, who we didn't sign. Squad Update: Here is how the squad is rated heading into next season. Sousa is leaving because he wants to go somewhere for more challenge, so I sold him to a lower division Portuguese team for a sell on percentage so he wouldn't play against me and he is now on a lower reputation team in a lower reputation league ... head shake! Ruddy developed very well as the starting GK. We have a few younger players with higher potential who will be starting this season - Kerr, Lindsay, Arthurs. That will set back the squad rating a bit, but hopefully pay off in the long run with our better facilities now. The squad rating dropped by 0.6 points heading into this season because Sousa left and we are starting higher potential players now. Anticipate the rating resuming the steady crawl upwards next season - hopefully a bit faster. Bingo No update

Popular Post djsterry
Villa Dalmine Argentina has turned out to be quite a difficult challenge and I have come close to quitting, I'm sure someone said to me Argentina was easy I haven't done an update for a few seasons because quite frankly not much has happened, barely avoided relegation and kept losing any player that looked decent for peanuts. Things just started to improve about 3 seasons ago, managed to hold on to some players and started to build a good team. 2069 2070 2071 2072 2073 2074 2075 2076 2077 current season last season 2076 I managed to win the league cup This puts you into the Copa Libatadores and I mangaed to win the competion on the first attempt. ! So that's half the challenge done in Argentina Current team is very good and If I can hold onto them I hope I can win the league in the next 3-4 years, The current squad has 4 wonderkids!! and 3 former wonderkids so there is plenty of talent in the team. Front 4 just score for fun I'm enjoying this team now and in some ways I'm hoping I don't finish to challenge too soon as I want to play a few more seasons with this team Spoiler

Popular Post Shankly84
SEASON 11 – 2034/35 – Tanzanian Premier League Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 - Competitions Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Honours - Finances - Transfers League Season The season got off to a great start, winning the community shield for the 2nd time and beating Young Africans in the final. It was a crazy game, with us finding ourselves 3-0 down at half time. 3 second half goals and then a 91st minute winner from Mohamad saw us beat our main title rivals in a mad game. First league season as Champions and the goal was to try and go again. Despite winning it last year, the bookies still had us as 33-1 outsiders. 6 games in we found ourselves in 3rd spot and already 4 off the top after a disappointing draw at Azam. That game was our 33rd league game unbeaten, although we already felt off the pace. Fountain Gate at home next and the unbeaten run was gone, losing 4-2. Any chance of defending our title were also rapidly disappearing. We started to claw back at it and by game week 16 a 3-2 away victory at rivals Simba had us 2nd and 2 points behind them, although they had played a game less and Young Africans in 3rd had played 2 games less. With 6 to go we found ourselves in 3rd place and 6 off the top and any chance of defending our title were all but gone after a credible 3-3 draw away at Young Africans. The season played out as expected and it wasn’t to be. We finish 3rd and 6 points off top. CAF Champions League Our first taste of Champions League football and the goal was to progress as far as possible and make as much money as we can to invest in the facilities. We started off with a trip to the Central African Republic to play Castel Foot and we managed to brush them aside, winning 10-2 on aggregate. Next up was a much closer tie, travelling to Sudan where we faced Al-Hilal Omdurman. An excellent 2-0 away win was followed up with a 2-1 home win to progress to the group stages. The groups pitted us up against TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rivers United of Nigeria and a real tough one against 10 times winners Zamalek of Egypt. A decent start with a 2-2 draw against TP Mazembe was followed up with 4 excellent wins, including a 3-1 home win against Zamalek to progress through. Zamalek away in the 6th game did bring us back down to earth with a 6-0 hammering. Quarter-finals in our first attempt, not bad!! A tough draw saw us up against another Egyptian side in Al-Ahly. The first leg in Egypt saw a battling performance from the boys but we went down 1-0. Back to our place and we were on the front foot in front of our own fans. We took the lead through Mwashiuya in the 22nd minute only for Sadek to equalise just 10 minutes later. By half time we were unlucky to be 2-1 down. Youngester Mwinyi got us back in level in the 63rd minute but Mokhtar got Al-Ahly back in front in the 67th. Mohamad again equalised for us and an injury time goal from Ngasa put us 4-3 up on the night, but it was too late, and we went out on away goals. A very good first attempt at the Champions League though. Tanzanian Federation Cup Going in as holders for the last years we are always confident in this competition. It wasn’t to be this year though with Azam FC knocking us out on pens in the Quarter-Final after a 4-4 draw. THE PLAYERS Ayoub Kibombo Kibombo again excellent at right back, with another 7 goals and 9 assists. Mussa Salum Typical season from Mussa, with an excellent 16 goals in 24 games. Salum Mwashiuya Has made the AM role his own now. An excellent 7.50 average rating, 17 goals and 13 assists. Samson Mohamed Filling in on both flanks, Mohamed chipped in with an impressive 19 assists, 12 goals and an average rating of 7.53. Omary Mwinyi Break out season for the 16-year-old, playing mainly off the left. 13 goals at 16, not bad and big things to come (hopefully). THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 A superb intake. Hassan Abdallah a standout and even managed 2 goals in his only game in the cup. Hopefully a few others who can contribute. 2nd place for the under 19s. SEASON REPORT A pretty standard league season and disappointing to drop back to 3rd after winning it last season. Good effort in the Champions League, but we drop back down to the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Shankly84
SEASON 12 – 2035/36 – Tanzanian Premier League Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season We started the season in scintillating form and after 9 games had won 8 and lost 1. Unfortunately, the 1 loss had come to title rivals Young Africans, going down 4-1 at home. By the halfway point we were sat in 2nd place 6 points off Young Africans, but with a game in hand. We kept pace with them up until game week 20, when once again they battered us 3-0 to open up the gap to 6 points. With 4 left a home defeat to Simba all but ended any title dream and it was now a battle on with Simba to claim the 2nd Champions League spot. We managed to push on and get that 2nd spot but finished 7 points off the top. CAF Confederation Cup Back in Africa’s Europa League equivalent and it all started off pretty much how it has normally gone in these competitions for us. Comfortable (ish) in the qualifiers and then two 3-0 wins and a draw to start the group. We had one foot in the Quarters but the wheels literally fell off and we lost our last 3 to drop to 3rd and crash out at the group stage. Tanzanian Federation Cup A poor season in the cup. A tough draw at home to Young Africans in the last 16 but it meant another big loss to them this season. THE PLAYERS Godfrey Bakari Re-trained into a full back and has now made the left back spot his own. 20 assists and a 7.37 average rating. David Shabani Another excellent season for the DM. Kassim Singano Found his way into the team after 2 years out on loan and as a result Salum didn’t start a single game. 14 goals in 22 starts. Salum Mwashiuya Another great season with 21 in 40 starts from AM. Hassan Abdallah Came through last seasons intake and has the potential to be a goal machine. 23 in 30 starts at just 16. Got his opportunity after Ngasa left for Simba. Omary Mwinyi Starting to look like a real player now and still only 17. 18 goals, 12 assists and an average rating of 7.82. Valued up to £700k already. THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 Standard intake in the main. OFF THE FIELD Ngasa had negotiated a release clause in his contract and we were powerless to stop him leaving to rivals Simba. £350k fee also probably lower than what we could have got had we been able to negotiate. SEASON REPORT Disappointing not to add silverware and poor in the CAF confederation. Good to be back in the Champions League. Popular Post Shankly84
Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season The season got off to a flyer, beating Simba 3-0 in the final of the community shield to win it for a 4th time. Off the field Daudi Mseja moved on, on a free transfer. A great servant who managed 90 league goals in 201 appearances. His game time had been reducing and it was time for a change. Pre-season odds still had us as outsiders at 25-1. We started well and were top after 5 games with 13 points. Young Africana came to our place on game week 12 and stole away with a 2-1 win with an injury time winner to go 3 clear. It was beginning to feel like we’d never get past these again. It was also 7 games since we had beat them in all competitions. Just past the halfway mark and the other main rivals, Simba, rocked up and beat us 3-2 at home to put us 6 behind Young Africans. That probably meant game over for the title and a battle for 2nd place again. By game week 23, a 2-1 loss away at Azem FC had dropped us down to a disappointing 4th. We pushed on and despite our usual defeat to Young Africans (6-4 this time), we won our other 5 games meaning victory on the final day would guarantee 2nd place and another go in the Champions League. We weren’t at our best, but we scraped past them to pip Azem FC for 2nd on goal difference. CAF Champions League Another go at the big one! We cruised past US GN of Niger in the first round with a 14-0 aggregate win. Then it was off to the Ivory Coast to play AFAD Plateau. A 4-1 away win was followed up with a 2-1 home win to see us comfortably into the group stage. The groups were as tough as ever, but we got off to a great start, beating Algeria’s CR Bélouizdad 4-2 away and fellow Algerians USM Alger 3-0 a home. A good 1-1 draw against Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca was followed up with another victory, 1-0 in Algeria. Then CR Bélouizdad, beat us 2-1 at home and then Casablanca beat us 4-2 also, but we had just about done enough to make it through. Into the quarter-final again and we met Egyptian giants Zamalek, who had previiosuly knocked us out. A superb 4-1 home win was followed up with an excellent 2-2 draw in Egypt to book our place in the semis. Up next the Ghanaians, Asante Kotoko. We played really well in the first leg and probably deserved something, but we came away with a disappointing 3-0 loss. Back in Tanzania and a crowd of nearly 10,000 were up for the fight. Despite going a goal behind in the first half, we scored 3 second half goals and pilled the pressure on. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be and we went out 4-3 on aggregate. So close to a Champions League final! Tanzanian Federation Cup A bit of a drought for our standards in this competition, but we managed to win it for a 6th time beating Simba on the way and league rivals Azam FC in the final. THE PLAYERS Godfrey Bakari Continued last seasons form and is now recognised as a full back. 26 assists from left back and an excellent 7.62 average rating. Kassim Singano Another great season from Kassim with 19 goals from left wing. Salum Mwashiuya The reason why Mseja couldn’t get back in the team. A superb season with 27 goals and 14 assists from attacking midfield. Ali Mgosi Came through the youth team as a striker a couple of seasons ago and has been used sporadically in a number of positions. He does the business though and bagged 15 goals in just 14 starts. Still only 19 and pushing for a starting spot. Hassan Abdallah The main striker now following Ngasa’s departure last season. 24 goals in 42 appearances. Omary Mwinyi Still only 18 but becoming the star of the team. 29 goals, 10 assists and an average rating of 7.73. THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 Good intake again. Rajab Seif looks like he can influence the first team already. Under 19s finished 4th. OFF THE FIELD I reached 500 games in management. I did not know that in my save, so I lost half the first team before I got an answer as to why. It's not clear from the rules either, so I've asked SI to show this in future games, but I don't know if or when it will happen. Yikes! That certainly adds to the difficulty level... mschafer13
Took 2 seasons, I had to get used to the weird promotion/relegation thing in Denmark where they split up the table halfway through the year, but we're going up! Great start to the season, horrible middle, but we ended up winning 9 of the last 10 and got promoted despite being tied on points with the next team. I'll take it. Thankfully the board decided we could turn semi-pro at least, so we'll see if that helps at all. Handful of decent youth to help fill out the bench as we fight to not get immediately relegated next season.

Yeah, I'm tempted to another save in Denmark at some point, but I need to remember this rule before doing so! I just thought you should know in case your players on contract decide to leave on a free without you being able to do much to stop it as I did before.

Popular Post Padders
Season 177 - 2197/98 - SBC So as above, we made it to the Play Off Final. We finished 5th, far too inconsistent for me We beat Norwich 2-1 on aggregate in the Semi Final We conceded that dreadful goal above in the 111th minute but then equalized in the 115th minute We then won 7-6 on penalties We also have another wonderkid. First one in a while He of course wants to leave and has a load of PL clubs after him but I did get him on a 5yr contract when he turned 18 and have 3yr optional extension Edited September 23 by Padders
Popular Post Neo_Geo
2 MORE TITLES INCLUDING TREBLE AND 100% WIN RECORD SEASON Two seasons have now passed since my last update and season 7 and 8 resulted in 2 league titles and 2 trophies with a 100% win record treble in season 8 as we absolutely dominated the domestic scene. We're still not wiping the floor with Hamrun as I needed extra time to beat them in the super cup but we are now looking like the better side and against the rest of the league we are winning comfortably even with a spell of having 8-10 players injured. In Europe I had to include the moment I nearly qualified for the Champions League by beating Rangers at Ibrox 3-2 following a 1-2 loss at home 1 week earlier before losing on penalties. In both seasons we made the Europa league stage and the first year a solitary win over Puskas Akademia were the only points gained with a -20 goal difference. Season 8 was much better with 1 win and 2 draws with the win being a 1-0 home win over Besiktas! Here are the club and competition overviews for the last two seasons: YOUTH INTAKE I've changed my Head of Youth Development twice since the last update first brining in a Nigerian HoYD who was fairly professional and had decent attributes but I hadn't noticed he only had a National B licence and I couldn't get him on a course. I really thought I had messed up and he had the 1 intake that he oversaw (although it was likely Edward Bartolo who had the bigger impact on that intake as it always takes a few years to filter through). I then spotted at the end of season 8 we had moved up to be 2 star reputation and given at the end of season 7 I added Serie A and Serie B as view only in an attempt to get some more Italian staff appearing this chap was listed in my staff search: His working with youngsters is a little lower than I would have liked but he makes up for it in judging ability and potential as well as being a pretty solid coach, particularly compared to my current staff. Here are the two intakes from season 7 and 8: It's been an interesting couple of seasons as I am seeing previous "star players" now look far more average in comparison to those coming through. We still haven't reached the point where the intake are actually not better than the top quartile of players currently at the club. Players like Roderick Bartolo YP-3A have now fallen completely out of favour and even Steve Vella YP-4A who has been capped 15 times for Malta is falling behind those coming through. Top 5 Elite Talents from Each Intake Spoiler Intake 7 Cutajar, Amato, Muscat and Pace have become integral parts of my first team whilst Fenech has been a good back up in central defence to the two that came through in Year 6. Intake 8 Out of this year I don't see many making a big impact on the first team next year other than Mercieca who scored a double in his debut in the Malta Trophy cup final (the only game he was allowed to play in as he joined after the registration window for the league closed) where he scored a double. Muscat had been first choice this season and I had to play Adamyan YP-4A to keep him happy but he has now also had his ability adjusted due to intakes and he looks very limited in terms of potential. As a result of the shifting ability some of the squad have become frustrated at the depth of the squad in defence and in particular its the fullbacks that aren't that great. The potential is there but the development is not. I've started tracking the average attribute changes year on year based on those that had been at the club for 1 year or more: I'm going to keep tracking this and see what the general trend is but if the lines in general stay in the positive then I'll be fairly happy. As the standard of coaches and training facilities improve I'd expect to see this improve as well. Spreadsheet Tables Spoiler Potential for YP-7 and YP-8 Players 5 of the players are in the top 10 for relative potential and a healthy showing of solid green attribute changes for the majority of Intake 7 with the stars being Andre Pace (MC - DLP) and Karl Muscat (SC - AF). Both have been capped for Malta now (3 and 1 caps respectively) which at the age of 17 and 16 respectively is pretty impressive. Another AMC coming through might mean that I look at a 4-2-3-1 narrow formation as a 3rd choice to offer something a little different from my main formation which focuses on width and crossing. I've made an adjustment to my training sheet so that when I choose a particular role I will be displayed with their current rating for that role. I do think I need to take a look at adjusting the weightings at some point as I'm still seeing positions that don't really fit because the suggested weightings by the game are skewing it in favour of other positions. This makes it a bit easier when determining the right training position based on their best role and then I can see the rating for the various roles I may want them to play in and see how different it is in relation to the other roles. CLUB NEWS Since turning professional 2 seasons ago the club is going strong. Thanks to the European money I have still been able to upgrade the facilities whilst maintaining a healthy balance. The wages per week currently stands at £11,714 which given the European money it really makes little impact. The training facilities now sit at 12 with the youth facilities at 8 and both are currently in the process of being upgraded once more. The board have expanded my staff levels and this is now how the staff screen is looking: Kercem Ajax are really starting to dominate Maltese football. Transfers Spoiler Our first sale for money came in season 8 with Jean Claude Mizzi YP-5Ajoining Gzira United for £69k with £7k after 20 league games and £7k after 1 international game as well as 40% of the profit made. This is what Gzira offered rather than what I negotiated as this is chump change at the moment, it was more about letting a decent keeper go who now looked likely to be 3rd choice rather than holding on to them and stifling their career. Unfortunately for Mizzi he has been stucking in their U21s and hasn't made a single appearance and ironically Gzira now want to sign my back-up keeper as well! SQUAD NEWS The squad now contains no original players from the start of the save with only 1 survivor from the Year 1 Intake, Ishmael Falzon YP-1A who is a 2 star current ability and 2 star potential but is still able to contribute in this league with 13 goals and 2 assists from 10 starts and 17 sub appearances this season. He's one of those players who on paper shouldn't be playing for us still but he comes up with important goals so he stays on. The squad depth shows a distinct lack of quality at the fullback positions with the wingers also lacking depth. As I mentioned in the Youth Intake section I have good numbers in AMC so having a narrow formation might help out if the wingers become a problematic area going forward. You can see that Falzon YP-1A is the second best AML at the club still. I haven't moved everyone over to professional contracts as I suspect that a number of those who aren't on one will end up leaving in a year or two if the intakes continue at their current level. As the intakes come through each player that I decide to keep on gets a professional deal when they hit 17 so it will naturally resolve itself over time. I haven't had many successes with retraining positions but Alex Formosa YP-7A has managed to retrain to be an AML and is now accomplished in just under 2 years of training. I needed to get more cover at left wing and with a reasonable left foot he seemed a good bet. BUILD A NATION At a club level this is going quite well with the Maltese Premier League now ranked 51st which has risen over 6 years from 64th. The Nation Club Coefficient is 31st now which continues to rise and continues to improve the qualification places. Hamrun had a difficult season this year and in terms of Europe they were put out at the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League 5-1 on aggregate to Cracovia. Balzan lost 3-1 on aggregate in the first round of qualifiers to Sloboda Tuzla of Bosnia and Herzegovina whilst Gzira United also lost in the first round on penalties to KF Teuta of Albania. As I haven't really been generating an abundance of talent that I can start to provide to the rest of the league via loans and sales I'm not expecting a lot just now however the one plus point is that Gzira are now also Professional meaning we have 3 professional clubs in the country. I really want to see Floriana improve and become the 4th professional team as I think that will help massively but they have been floundering in mid table with 7th and 8th place finishes over the last 2 seasons. At the national level the Euro Qualifiers didn't end that well for Malta finishing second bottom on 4 points in a group that contained Gibraltar (so not getting 6 points was disappointing). We now have the most players in the national squad with a similar story in the youth squads: National Squad: 10 / 22 U21: 10 / 23 U19: 8 / 23 U18: 1 / 12 In terms of caps Omar Spiteri YP-4A (GK) has 19 with Steven Vella YP-4A (MC) on 15. Still no international goal for any player coming through the youth ranks. BINGO CARD It's been quite a successful couple of season with 1/3 of all targets now met but we're definitely now entering the stage where only a handful will be realistically achievable: NEO_GEO'S FINAL THOUGHTS I think I preferred playing a couple of seasons and doing this update as it allowed me to just enjoy the game for a bit longer before writing the update (not that I don't enjoy it too it just takes a while to pull together). I'm having a blast with the save and enjoying seeing long term plans starting to take shape with improvements across the board from facilities to staff and seeing the results on the pitch improve to the point where we look very comfortable domestically and at least giving a good account of ourselves on the continent. I'm excited for seeing the new HoYD having an impact in a couple of seasons time and with the ever improving training facilities and staff I want to see more of the players start to bridge the gap between their current ability and potential. I've probably not utilised my spreadsheets as much as I thought I would, I tend to focus on the potential, the training focus and the attribute change ranking to see what players are pushing themselves and what players aren't. It is proving to be useful but I do feel it needs some tweaking (in particular the lower and upper drive weighting needs to be handled differently as a player that clearly doesn't have what it takes but has a personality that CAN have high professionalism/ambition scores highly in the upper drive meaning they appear higher in the potential ranking even though I know they won't make it so I do have to apply discretion to the rankings).
Popular Post Padders
Also want to post about David Kelly, 33 years old now, played left wing all his career. I don't tend to keep many players after 32 yrs old as their stats just dramatically decline Just got top scorer in the league Been superb servant for us

Shankly84
Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season Frustratingly beaten in the final of the Community Shield to Young Africans. The league season pretty much went the same way the last 3 or 4 have gone. Very constituent throughout but losing our games against title rivals. A 7-2 home defeat to Simba a particular low. We trudged away as we tend to do and managed 2nd for the 3rd year running just pipping Simba on games won after finishing level on points and goal difference. Disappointed to be 11 points off the top. CAF Champions League Shocking performance in the Champions league. We breezed past Niger’s AS Sonidep 13-0 on aggregate, but then were given an awful draw of Sundowns. We lost at home 2-1 and 3-1 away, to end our seasons continental football before the group stage. Tanzanian Federation Cup Another great run in the cup, beating Simba on pens in the semi-final. Young Africans were the opposition in the final though and despite holding a 2-0 lead at one point we webt down 5-4 to lose the cup final for the first time. THE PLAYERS Godfrey Bakari Stalwart at left back for us now. 9 goals and 18 assists. Came 3rd place in the Tanzanian player of the season. David Shabani One of his best seasons yet, chipping in with 18 assists. Charles Singano Developing as a great utility player who has helped out in numerous positions. Ally Makasi Broke into the DM role at the expense of Dickson Sigano and had a great season. Rajab Seif First season in the first team and looks like we have another player on our hands. 6 goals and 12 assists from right midfield. Ali Mgosi Forced his way into the AM role at the expense of the excellent Mwashiuya. 23 goals in 26 starts, 12 assists and 7.83 average rating. Came 2nd place in the Tanzanian player of the season. Hassan Abdallah Goal machine continues his form. 27 goals in 31 games and still only 18. Omary Mwinyi Probably already the clubs best ever. Another 21 goals in attacking midfield, and a superb average rating of 7.90. Salum Kaseke Shoutout to Kaseke who played as Abdallah’s back up. Manged 15 goals in just 10 starts. THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 The intakes continue to impress. Mrwanda will challenge the first team and Ali will make a good backup right midfield. Ayoub Tanzman looks like we have our goalkeeper tied down for the next 20 years (if we can keep him). Under 19s finished 2nd. OFF THE FIELD I was offered both the Tanzanian national team job and an interview for the Simba job. Obviously, these were both outright rejected. SEASON REPORT Disappointing not to add silverware again and the Champions League run was really poor. Need to close the gap to the top.
Shankly84
Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season Still seen as 25-1 outsiders. The community shield saw us reach the final again, only to go down 6-5 in a crazy game to Young Africans. The league fixture computer couldn’t have given us a worse first game. Young Africans away! In a game that went back and forth it was 3-3 going into injury time, then up popped David Shabani with a 95th minute winner to see us finally beat them. Our first win against them in 14 games after being unbeaten against them in the previous 8 to that. Despite the great result, the season itself didn’t start so well and after 8 games we were sat in 4th place and already 6 points behind Young Africans. We were never really in it and despite beating Simba 2-1 away on game 19, we were still 10 points off the top, who happened to be Simba. The season fizzled out and we ended up in a disappointing 3rd place. More frustratingly Simba won the league this year and not Young Africans. A big chance missed. CAF Champions League Another disappointing campaign. After progressing past Marimoo FC 17-3 on aggregate, we came up against the Tunisian side Club Africain. We won the first leg 5-2 but ended up with 8 of our starting 11 being away on international duty for the 2nd leg. I was hoping we could hold out, but we went down 4-0 and we was out again before the groups had even began. Tanzanian Federation Cup Quarter-final was as far as we got as we came across the absolute pain in the arse Young Africans and lost 4-3. THE PLAYERS Ayoub Tanzman Although he conceded 62 in 37, it was Tanzman’s breakout season and something to build on. Seif Rajab Had his best season at right back, with 6 goals, 8 assists and an average rating of 7.48. Godfrey Bakari Another typical Bakari season. 17 assists, 7 goals and 7.47 average rating. Rajab Seif 2nd season in the team and really kicked on with a massive 25 assists, 14 goals and 7.65 average rating. Wants to leave though which is very frustrating. Ali Mgosi Really kicked on with 34 goals in 36 games, although this did include 13 pens. 7.62 average rating. Omary Mwinyi 26 goals in 34 games and 7.78 average rating. THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 The intakes have really started to step up. 4 or 5 players looking likely to influence the first team next season. Under 19s finished 2nd. OFF THE FIELD I reached 600 games in management and Ayoub Kibombo is now the league appearance record holder with 223 appearances. Popular Post Shankly84
Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season Pre-season odds remained at 25-1. Lost to Young Africans in the community shield in the semi-final. In the league we won 14 out of our opening 16 games. The only issue was the two other games were defeats away at both Simba and Young Africans. Until we start taking points off these two, we aren’t going to be adding that 2nd title. The second half of the season saw us only lose one game, but again this was a home defeat to Simba. With two games to go we still had an outside chance, sitting 2 points off 2nd and 5 off 1st but that’s all it was. Simba and Young Africans both won their games, and we finished 3rd again, although the gap to the top was only 5 points. CAF Confederation Cup After two disappointing Champions League campaigns we were back in the CAF Confederation Cup. The qualifiers were bypassed easily with a 17-3 and 15-0 aggregate wins. We started the groups with a 3-2 away win at RS Berkane, but were then held to two home draws, 4-4 with Medeama SC and 1-1 with Pyramids. We stepped up in the last 3 games, winning all 3 without conceding a goal to progress to the quarter final. A tricky game next against Raja Casablanca. We scored 6 in the home leg, however, we conceded 4! It didn’t matter though as we won 2-0 in Morrocco to progress to the semis. Nigeria’s Enyimba Aba awaited us, and we smashed them 3-0 in the first leg, at home in front of nearly 14,000. The away leg was trickier than it needed to be, but we came out losing 3-2 but progressing to the final for the 2nd time. In the final we would face Medeama of Ghana to be played in Mali. We had a decent record against them, but did draw 4-4 at home in the group stage. If you thought 4-4 was a high scoring game, then this was crazy. The game finished 7-7!! after our keeper had a nightmare. We should have been wall out of sight. The 2nd leg was a tight affair with the game tied at 0-0 at half time, but the boys stepped up 2nd half and we pulled away with goals from new star Mnyamani, Mgosi and Mwinya to win 3-0, 10-7 on aggregate and win our first continental competition!!! Tanzanian Federation Cup It’s been a few years now wince we won this, after dominating for a few years. We got past Simba in the quarters but were unlucky to go out to Young Africans in the semi-final. THE PLAYERS Ayoub Tanzman Continues to progress and his value is rising. Despite a nightmare in the CAF Confederation Cup Final 1st leg, a great season with 14 clean sheets. Adam Mrwanda Retrained to play deeper and progressed as the season progressed. Ramadhani Ali Stepped up when Seif moved on and made the right midfield role his own. Different type of player to Seif but still managed 16 assists in 25 starts. Ali Mgosi Sharing his game time now, but still got an impressive 18 ion 26. Hassan Abdallah Also sharing his game time, but still knows where the back of the net is. 29 goals in 27 starts! Omary Mwinyi Same old for Mwinyi. Another 25 goals. Simba are sniffing round, but he has so far been happy to commit to us after bids have been rejected. Emmanuel Mnyamani New kid on the block. Progressing rapidly and scored an impressive 22 in 35 at just 16 years old. THE YOUTH INTAKE 1 2 Pretty standard intake, but Peter Kawawa looks like the next one with big potential. Under 19s won their league for the first time in a while. OFF THE FIELD Rajab Seif was now flying and fulfilling his potential. So much so that he won the African Young Footballer of the Year award. The only problem was 15 days later Simba activated his release clause of £650k and he was gone. This was gutting as he was really starting to kick on and he leaves for a rival. As they activated a release clause, I couldn’t even get a sell on clause in the deal. Edited September 23 by Shankly84
dkouv
Poole Town – Season 20 (2043/44) Premiership. A great season; we were right in the thick of the title race all of a sudden and top with 4 games to go. Then of course we go and lose 5-1 at home to Arsenal (despite "winning" the xG) who leapfrog us into first place. But all is not lost, it turns out, a couple of slip ups by City and Arsenal put us back top with 1 game to go, all we have to do is beat Stoke (who have been our bogey team, to be fair) away. Sure enough, we go 1-0 up but they equalise in the 95th minute - however, luckily both City and Arsenal messed up so we ended up winning the league! (on goal difference, with a rather measly 83 points) Europe Some great performances in the CL group stage, but the pace of games took its toll in the spring and we lost out to Real Madrid in the quarters. Players Jacob Bibby 12a (AMRLC/ST) is very much the star man, with 5 England caps to his name. Jamie Thomas 14a (AMRL) was the surprise of the season, bursting into the first team after several years out on loan, and making the left-wing spot his own. A big shout out to our captain Paul Barrow 04b (DR/AMRC), an attacking mid who I had to retrain as rightback in Vanarama South, has been with us through all the divisions, and since I still don't have many decent right backs he managed 13 games in the PL with an average rating of near 7, more than justifying his PL winner's medal. Two players on the NxGn list so we still have room to improve. Youth intake (preview): A pretty good intake with 4 elite talents, nobody really stands out in terms of CA or personalities so I'll have to wait and see how they develop. Facilities No change, but got a few affiliate clubs to recruit foreign youngsters. Transfers: nothing of note. Shankly84
Fixtures: 1 2 3 - First Team Squad: 1 2 – Under 19s Squad: 1 2 Manager Profile: Characteristics - Attributes Club Profile - General - Facilities - Finances - Transfers League Season To start the season off the team changed from their usual yellow home kit to a green and yellow. This appears to be closer to the kit in real life, but I could be wrong. For the first time since 2037 we won the Community Shield, beating Young Africans 3-2 in the final. We couldn’t have made a better start to the league season. Our 1-0 win a home to Young Africans made it 7 wins from 7. Simba had also started well though and were only 2 points behind. Our first loss came at Simba in game 13, but we still had 36 points from a possible 39. By game 20, we were 4 points clear of Simba, although they had a game in hand. Young Africans hadn’t been themselves and were starting to fall behind in 3rd place. A big win at Young Africans, and with 8 games to go we could see a pathway home to that 2nd title, then with 3 games to go disaster struck. A poor 1-1 draw away at Fountain Gate meant Simba had pushed ahead of us. It was still in our own hands, as we had to play Simba. The game went back and forth. In the 74th minute they were down to 10 men, but we were losing 4-2. We pulled two goals back, but Ali’s 90th minute equaliser wasn’t enough, and it was going to take a miracle. The next game and we completely shot ourselves in the foot, drawing 2-2 at 9th place Tabora United. Shocking! Into the last game and Simba do slip up at Fountain Gate, but they get the point they need and we finish 2nd a point behind them. A win over Tabora and we’d of been champions. Very frustrating. CAF Confederation Cup Going into this one as holders now, we were confident. We eased through the qualifiers as usual. The groups were almost as easy. 6 wins from 6, including a 5-1 away win in Egypt. Hearts of Oak from Ghana in the quarters and despite them scoring an impressvie 8 over two legs, we managed 11!! Super Sport United next in the semis and two more high scoring games, winning 5-3 at home and a 4-4 away draw to go through to the final in back-to-back years. The final was an all-Tanzanian affair in Gabon. I didn’t think this would be an issue but former African Lyon player Idarous Abdallah had other ideas, scoring a hattrick in the first leg as we went down 3-2. The 2nd leg was much more comfortable, winning 6-1 to claim back-to-back CAF Confederation cups. CAF Super Cup After winning the CAF Confederation Cup last year, we qualified for the Super cup, where we would face Champions League winners Wydad Athletic Club. It was a tight game that finished 1-1, but we managed to get over the line winning on pens to win this trophy for the first time and bag another £400k. This was invested straight into the youth facilities. Tanzanian Federation Cup One better this time, but we go out to Simba in the semis, 6-4 after extra time. Former players Ngasa and Seif on the scoresheet. THE PLAYERS Godfrey Bakari 31 assists from left back! Michael Omar Broke into the centre midfield spot. 18 goals, 13 assists and 5.51 average rating. Ramadhani Ali Kicked on again and gained an average rating of 7.68. Still only 18 and an excellent replacement for Seif. George Rashid Utility man who has played in numerous positions. 12 goals in 22 starts. Ali Mgosi Continues to deliver when called upon. 44 goals and assists and an average rating of 7.74. Omary Mwinyi The main man and has never pushed for a move. 46 goals, a best ever seasonal return for the club. THE YOUTH INTAKE It looks like another superstar could be on his way through. James Tanzman probably the best player to come through to date. Under 19s finished 2nd. OFF THE FIELD I had a feeling it would come, but Ayoub Tanzman moved on to Benfica for £500k. We could have got a bigger fee, but I was more interested in the percentage of next sale. Especially as he is already worth between £14.5m and £16.5m. In November Benfica let us buy out the clause for £9.02m!! I suspect that he will move on for a lot more than this, but these are astonishing figures for us that could be a game changer for the facilities. In December we also let Charles Singano go for £300k to Young Africans. For once this was my decision. He was one of my favourite players, due to his flexibility, but he was never going to be a starter and £300k was too good to turn down. I don’t think he will get in their team either. I reached 700 games in management. Edited September 23 by Shankly84

V50
8 hours ago, Padders said: Also want to post about David Kelly, 33 years old now, played left wing all his career. I don't tend to keep many players after 32 yrs old as their stats just dramatically decline Just got top scorer in the league Been superb servant for us You're a legend, but if that's a starter for you I understand why the Premier league is a struggle! He should have been put out to pasture a couple seasons ago I'd love a quick summary of your youth prospects over the past 10 years, there must be some gems in there. mpm2342
Crewe United 2038 Season Update Season 14 Update: Finished 3rd this season getting a place straight away to Europe. We also convinced the board to turn professional which created a lot of work signing players and staff to new contracts. Still can't offer a decent wage to staff, so not doing so well on that front, but I expect in a few seasons, we should be able to get better staff. Got all the facilities boosted with the training facilities getting in the range to make a difference in player development. Had a great year scoring goals with Gawne topping the league for goals and then he gets demoted to the reserve squad because there are better options now... I feel for him, but not too much. Transfers: Spoiler Youth Candidates: Forgot to take a snapshot of the actual intake email, but we got another message about a golden generation. I included the scholars announcement as that is a far back as I can see in the inbox. . Stuart Annett is an exceptional talent and will start right away. Decent mix of personalities. Already mentoring Annett from Temperamental to Balanced and will keep going on that front. Squad Update: Here is how the squad is rated heading into next season. Starting developing players paid off and the squad as a whole is stronger. Flynn is going to move to striker taking over for Gawne because Miller developed a lot last season where Gawne and Flynn did not. . The squad rating grew by 2.1 points heading into this season which was really nice to see. Bingo A few more squares completed, most notably the top goal scorer.

Popular Post XaW
XaW - Praiense - Season 2025/26 (Season 2) - Campeonato Nacional Prio C Squad | Transfers | Finances Turns out, having a full squad of players helps out a lot! This season was a bit strange, but I will claim some of the honour by turning things around. Initially, we did well, but we also conceded a lot while sneaking in wins. Then I did a small tweak to the tactic, and from conceding 18 goals in the first 8 matches, we went the next 8 conceding 4! I mean, we conceded a total of 28 matches in the 26 league matches and 18 of them was from the first 8! So my change clearly worked well. We got a small lead, but had Caldas close behind for the most of the season before a final push gave me a bigger lead in the end. So we qualified for the promotion stage where we drew Caldas again, as well as Fabril do Barreiro and São João de Ver from two of the other groups. We won that stage too to secure our promotion with a game to spare. Since we won the group though, we also went into the Champions final where we faced the winner of the other promotion stage group, Montalegre. In a close fought match, with very few chances it ended 0-0 at full time and it was straight to pens. There Montalegre missed all 3 pens while we scored all ours to clinch the title! Taça de Portugal: We beat Rabo de Peixe and União de Montemor before we lost to big shot Benfica in the 3rd round. Best players from the academy: Diogo Lamas 25c - He had a massive growth this season and is now a key player for us. Also scores loads of goals as the attacking of the two central midfielders. Joelson 25e - Most a sub, but also improved well this season. Manuel Silva 25d - 3rd choice centre back who has had a good development this season. New club records: Most league goals in a season - Diogo Lamas 25c - 15 goals Most assists in a season - Tico - 13 assists Most clean sheets in a season - Pedro Fortes - 10 clean sheets Most player of the match awards in a season - Pedro Fortes - 6 awards Worst discipline - Paulo Wagner - 7 yellow cards, 0 red cards Most league apps for the club - Nelson Henrique - 126 apps Most league goals for the club - Kinglord Safo - 30 goals Youngest player - André Estrela 26f - 15 years, 129 days Oldest player - Neto - 32 years, 229 days Fastest goal - Matos Alexandre - 26 seconds Youngest goalscorer - Jorge Aveiro 26c - 15 years, 359 days Oldest goalscorer - Neto - 32 years, 187 days Due to lack of finances, there were no improvements accepted this season. U19s They won the Portuguese U19 Azores Division this season! They then went into the Championship group where they finished 5th and didn't get promoted.
