Popular Post HbG93 Posted Saturday at 17:42 Popular Post Share Posted Saturday at 17:42 (edited) Season Review 2029/30 The squad The Table A very good year resulting in our highest placement yet. A strong team effort but credits must be given to the class of 2027 with Canessa and Capacci being the two standouts. Savi 29a was the only one from the previous intake that played serious minutes. His initial physicals makes him a very interesting player to follow for the future. Mutton 27d whom picked up that nasty injury last year. Sadly seems unable to keep up. Overall I am very happy with this placement, and think the team now has enough about it to keep getting into the playoffs. It might not be the following season, but bar losing one of our better players I perceive Serie B football within the next couple of season. Player Spotlight Canessa 27f is slowly becoming our best player pushing Chiesa over on the left flank is no small achievement. Excellent year coming at 16 goal contributions in total from the right wing. His fellow 27-liner Capacci 27a had a run in with injures but whenever available showed class. Another player I would like to showcase is Caniparoli 28b whom is our first player to ever be capped at Italy youth level. Without him I think my outlook on keeping the 3-man line would crumble. Retirement Gerbaudo will go down as a real player legend. He was always someone I could lean on in the midfield. On top of that his personality was good and helped influence the youths. Youth Intake The class of 2030 has a lot of catching up to do. I don't expect any of these to aid our next campaign in any meaningful manner. Marci 30a was a recruit I looked forward to as our defence needs new recruits. I'm happy he comes with a bit of jumping reach and strength, but he has a long way to go. Rocca 30b is a fair enough player at 15 years old however the road for him will be long as I don't use full-backs. Lastly Zucchetti 30c comes in with quite nice physicals, but the rest is severely lacking. Financial Troubles Ahead The clubs ever lowering sponsorship income crossed with increased running costs of the youth setup has simply become too large. I sit with a feeling of needing to make the jump into Serie B in order to protect my current facilities. That or pray for a good old takeover to occur. darren1983 Posted Saturday at 18:31 Author Share Posted Saturday at 18:31 Dulwich Hamlet Premier League Season 2040/41 Review League - This gonna be a quick one really. Pretty much same as last season (finished 2 points worse off) but better against the bottom sides, struggle against the top ones, and go 50/50 with ones around us. FA Cup - Made the 4th round but lost to Bournemouth side. Annoying as we were comfortable in the league so I really tried in it this year but our away form was shocking this season League Cup - Poor from us, annoying here as all the top sides went out early and one semi had 2 Championship sides in and it was won by Villa who ended up relegated. Could have been a chance for us here. Transfers - Loads of loans out (27 in total) would make Chelsea jealous Squad - Starting to move on from the stalwarts, Abdusalam finally had a major breakthrough I've been waiting for this year with 23 goals (joint top Prem scorer) but he hit 21 in the Championship 5 years ago and never kicked on so we'll see if this is an actual breakthrough. We had a top 5 attack and a bottom 5 defence so we need to improve. In the loan army there are 2 or 3 18 year olds who I'm hoping will be ready to play a part next season and take us up another level. We'll see though as I'm starting to feel we've reached the glass ceiling and need 2 or 3 special players to develop if we're going to kick on from here. Intake - the preview was decent as was the intake really. dgcastillof Posted Saturday at 22:41 Share Posted Saturday at 22:41 Conwy Borough - Wales Yeah, it will be Conwy Borough again. I say again because I think my first attempt was done (and failed) with this team in Wales. By the way, @XaW, I can't send PM but the idea of merging the accounts is great. My username was diegolawliet. I chose this team because it has the most number of players in squad and I know that's very important for the first season. 43 players in total, though many of them have already received some bids. I hope I don't lose so much players. What I know now that is key for this challenge is the Head of Youth Development role, which is currently free, so I'll post an advertisement and see if I can hire someone good. About the league: the JD Cymru North has 16 teams which play against each other twice in a season and the worst three get relegated. My goal is to not be relegated. It doesn't matter if it's by goal difference. [+] Diego Castillo Flores' profile [+] Season preview [+] Game information
Popular Post Neo_Geo Posted Saturday at 23:26 Popular Post Share Posted Saturday at 23:26 FLEURY 91 BOTTLE IT IN THE FINAL WEEKS The ageing squad of Fleury 91 huffed and puffed over the line in 5th place despite leading the way in the division in our purple patch in the middle part of the season. Truth be told we just couldn't beat the teams around us and towards the end of the season we just couldn't win with 3 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses in our last 8 games (two of those losses were against Dijon and Red Star which really didn't help). Despite being second top goalscorers in the league we struggled to score in the last few weeks. Conceding 44 goals as well was disappointing especially as we had 2 ball winning midfielders on defensive duty in front of our back 4 and I was playing full backs rather than wingbacks. In the French cup we made it to the 9th Round (The 9th Round is 5 rounds from the Final) as we had drawn teams in our league until an away tie to EA Guingamp of Ligue 2 who beat us 2-0 in a very one sided affair. This match gave me a little insight into what it might have been like getting promoted though Guingamp did finish 7th so perhaps we wouldn't have been too bad had we got promoted. Financial we lost around £300k this season and with most of the high earners still at the club and unlikely to be replaced by youth for a couple of seasons we are likely to fall into the red by season end. BRAZILIAN ANGLE PROGRESS The only thing I was really able to do this year was to try and emulate Flamengo's playing style with the two ball winning midfielders, wide full backs and inverted wingers/forwards. As I hadn't planned for managing Fleury 91 nor did I know about the Brazilian links before I started the game I only had the French leagues loaded, I added Brazil which started in January 2025 but as of yet no staff are interested in a position at the club. I also tried to go for some of the lower rated coaches just in case they might actually talk but they won't yet, probably due to the club still being semi-professional and them being based in Brazil. I will keep trying and always look to favour a Brazilian member of staff over any other nationality where possible to bring the Brazilian flair to Fleury-Mérogis. YOUTH INTAKE Not the best intake though I think having a strong squad coupled with poor junior coaching and youth recruitment will have resulted in this, I am a little concerned as its quite an old squad so I will either have to accept that it'll be a number of years before we challenge for promotion again or I somehow manage to get the aging squad to still perform. Kadri looks like a good prospect and with both of my strikers being 32 years old I need to look to get Kadri playing a fair bit next season. He has great passing and ball control with a determined personality and high natural fitness so I think I can make something work with him playing a little deeper. With Besse coming through as well I can look to play the two together as my AMC is 33. I guess the worry is that 6 and 9 finishing might not be that prolific. As I say I may have to accept I will need to ride out this league for a few years until the board sanction the improvements required to get a better intake. CLUB NEWS The path to coaching badges was straightforward with every one of my requests granted without needing to persuade the board after an initial rejection. On the other hand it was a battle and a half with the junior coaching and youth recruitment as they were turned down about half a dozen times due to deteriorating finances until a few weeks before season end they approved the junior coaching and were persuaded for the youth recruitment. SQUAD NEWS The squad is old with 15 of the 25 being 30 or over so my main concern is having enough quality for the coming 2/3 years before I can get the intake starting to produce better talent. I felt there was an element of staleness during the final stages of the season and I didn't really have the depth to switch things up. Once again my tactics paint a familiar picture of a poor back line (apart from a fullback) and a great frontline. The fact my 32 (now 33 year old) number 10 scored 18 goals says a lot about the formation with the main striker being a deep lying forward to draw out the central defence and create space for the number 10 and inverted forwards/wingers. With Kadri and Besse coming through this year I am hopeful they can develop the same type of partnership, BINGO CARD 3 targets met in the first season is fine but I really can't see any others getting met any time soon! NEO_GEO'S FINAL THOUGHTS A pleasing first season given the prediction but watching the title challenge, then promotion challenge fall apart wasn't that fun. I do have real concerns over the longevity of the current squad and I really need to hope that the board sanction junior coaching and youth recruitment improvements twice this coming season but I'm not holding my breath.

libbyshuss Posted Sunday at 06:04 Share Posted Sunday at 06:04 Austria - 2061/62 Wels Win 9th Straight League title, Mess Up In Champions League Again The league was quite exciting this year. When Rapid beat us with 4 games to go to go 4 points clear I thought it was all over. But they completely bottled the last 4 games meaning we could slip in and take the title right at the death. We were able to lose our final game to a 90+2 minute goal and still be champions as they struggled to a 0-0 draw. Nice! Same old story in the Champions League. Some nice results, but we really struggle against the bigger teams away from home What with the completely unsurprising news about FM25 it looks like I'll be plugging away in Austria for a while yet!

Popular Post Scraborn Posted Sunday at 11:34 Popular Post Share Posted Sunday at 11:34 I just finnished my first year in England. After many Holidays with the same Clubs in the end to chooe from I put them on a wheel and picked random. Thats the only reason I picked Dulwich Hamlet. Afterwards I read myself into the Club and was surprised that they got a link to Germany. Hamburg nontheless - for me as a guy from Freiburg just the other side of the country but a link is a link. Interesting colours and a weird crest for an english side so I packed my bags. Lets see what we archieved. First thing first... I failed to archieve only a top half finnish and won the League. This might hurt in the long run "suffering from succes" I guess. As mentioned the goal was simply to finnish in the top half. We had an rather slow start. We hardly lost games all season but we drew a lot and danced around 8th to 4th until matchday 29 when good form finaly kicked in. Our first short topplace stint was after 31 matches and continiously for the last 12 matches. During the season I lost some of the non contract players. I coulnt sign all of them due to Brexit rules for my first choise AF or weird wage demands. 17 players of the initial squad remained. Two of them will retire in Summer. So I had to hope for a good first crop. When I started the save Dulwich had five youth players with only one usefull option for the first eleven. Next season we will be fighting for our lives in the Vanarama National League - I hope to not get sacked after 10 losses in a row. My plan was to aim for promotion after two or three seasons. So its hardmode I guess. In the end we finished with 5 points clear and a massive goaldifference in our advantage. All three players hurt when leaving. This is our "final" squad of Season 24/25. Danny Mills was our hero this year scorring 42 Goals in all competitions. With his 33 years of age he wont stick around for a long time but as long he is of use he stays. Anthony Jeffrey was our best assister with 15. Assists where well distributed within the team but he was better than anyone else. Sephan John started in the U18s team but was quickly promoted to the first team. After retraining him to a attacking Winger in RM he had a good first year with 5/12 in his first season. Hopefully the mentoring will give him a better personality but beggars can't be choosers I guess, right? This first intake will give some needed options for the squad. Let me show you my personal Top3. Lets start with Sam Pinney. He should become my first choice DLF. Maybe not in the upcoming season. He could be faster in my opinion. Maurice O'Connell looks like he could develop inmy future AP in center mid. But he needs some work with his personality. And finaly Shannon Ruth. He might be needed rather sooner than later because of a retiring left back. As second choice of course. But with all the rotation he will be needed. So long see you in one year. Thank you for all your shared stories. Good luck

Popular Post HbG93 Posted Sunday at 15:30 Popular Post Share Posted Sunday at 15:30 (edited) Season Review 2030/31 The squad The team built on a successful previous year. Marci 30a is the only proper new addition to this years squad. Im hoping he could follow a similar development path to that of Caniparoli 28b. The usual players proved reliant once again. Morelli and Capacci 27a have become fine midfielders. Young Savi 29a had a terrific year and is solidifying himself as the most exciting prospect in our ranks. Takeover Well that certainly helps take the edge off! While the new board didn't invest directly in the club they did take on the clubs current bill. The Table Absolutely brilliant! We have not only improved our last finish, but gone a head and bloody won it. I am both very happy but also bit scared of the prospects of playing the Serie B. Regardless this season was our 7th in the Serie C, so I was starting too feel the need to get up quite badly. It wouldn't surprise me if our stay in the Serie B is either as long or drastically shorter due to relegation. Either way an important step for the team as the reputation the club will gain is for sure a benefit. Player Spotlight Savi 29a had an excellent year and while his attributes still leaves for more too be desired. Seeing him able to give these kind of performances are encouraging. Hopefully the bigger challenge of Serie B helps burst his growth. Canessa 27f is continuing his impressive path. The day a new recruit knocks this guy out of the team is a great one. Caniparoli 28b is becoming a very good little defender also went past 100 league appearances for the club. Youth Intake Our last intake done in the Serie C (well hopefully) is a rather quiet one. F. Porciani 31a and A. Bardini 31b are in fact the only ones that will represent the class of 2031. I would be quite bothered about this intake if it wasn't for the promotion! I really look forward to next years intake as I hope the step up and reputations boost we will be getting. Will have a slight little boost in the quality we get.
