vamcj
Guys, I need some help, please! I'm trying to put a "mask" that goes over the stands for teams that don't have an image of the stadium. I want this "mask" to be in the club's primary color. However, if I leave the code like this: <container> <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="-50" apply_to_children="true"/> <widget class="stadium_picture" id="STAp" image_alignment="centre_x,centre_y" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true" transparency="0.8"> <record id="object_property" get_property="objt" set_property="objt"/> <record id="default_properties" image_alignment="centre" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true"/> <widget class="picture" file="pictures/stadiums/stadium_bg" /> <widget class="picture" id="bkgd" file="pictures/stadiums/none_base" hidden="false" red_replacement="primary" /> <widget class="picture" id="STPC"/> </widget> </container> The mask is not applied according to the club's primary color. <container> <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="-50" apply_to_children="true"/> <widget class="stadium_picture" id="STAp" image_alignment="centre_x,centre_y" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true" transparency="0.8"> <record id="object_property" get_property="objt" set_property="objt"/> </widget> <record id="default_properties" image_alignment="centre" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true"/> <widget class="picture" file="pictures/stadiums/stadium_bg" /> <widget class="picture" id="bkgd" file="pictures/stadiums/none_base" hidden="false" red_replacement="primary"/> <widget class="picture" id="STPC"/> </container> The mask is applied with the club's primary color, but all clubs are left with the default "without stadium image" (even those that have the image in the pictures folder). Where is the error? Where am I going wrong?

sweetcarroll92
Is it still possible to see other clubs balances, wage budget used/available and the like? I have tried copying in the relevant widget into the club overview panel xml, but while it does show the balance, profit/loss, transfer budget, wages allowed/available etc. all of the numbers are simply marked as '-' - I cannot seem to find a way to make this widget show the actual figures. Has this changed in FM24 or am I making a rookie mistake? Thank you! Adam club overview panel.xml
vamcj
Guys, does anyone know how I can show the club's confederation logo? Sorry all I wanted to know was which file it belonged to that was all. After all this is a random and small skinning QUESTIONS forum. I apologise for having issues with my memory and finding it difficult to retain information on a daily basis (unless i repeat it over and over) which is why I ask questions so again if I inconvenience people by doing so then I'm sorry. Rest assured I wont be asking for any help again . peace Edited January 29 by Mark8213

Honestly it became so much more enjoyable when I started to learn by doing and I could come back and challenge people's knowledge with more advanced questions. So all I did was ask questions... it felt like i was been singled out for asking questions in a forum. I have never demanded anyone to do anything for me all I did was ask where a certain code should be placed that was all. Others have asked question and from what I have seen they have help.... I get it if I had sent my files over and asked them to do it for me then fine but I didn't all I did was ask a question in a questions forum. TCSSkin
Feel like it's getting a bit tense, so let's leave the conversation here guys, if you have something to say take it to PMs, but please keep it civil @Mark8213 - sorry to hear about your troubles, my memory has been shot since i had covid in all honesty. Skinning is a ton to learn as it is, so if you're also struggling with memory i get it can be incredibly frustrating. My advice is to do what i did when i started skinning, keep a spreadsheet or a sticky note on your computer with any files you come across, and any tweaks you made to it. That way you have something to refer too. Please remember we're here to help, the whole thing with "just ask" is true. However we are also effectively unpaid volunteers who have our own lives, so if we see the same thing over again, or people not understanding something, we get frustrated. Snow is a brilliant person, there's not one part of me that thinks he's acting in bad faith or trying to deter people from posting

I have 1 or 2 more things to ask but will leave it. Thanks to everyone who has helped. Edited January 29 by Mark8213
