Slovakia aren’t particularly likeable underdogs tbh so I’m not too bothered by that.

Oh well. At least Lukaku is still a donkey then :D

Oofff, that's tough on Belgium. I thought they changed the rule and it requires intent, not merely a light touch?

Hands in the run up to a goal automatically disqualifies the goal, I think.

Not even like he's then shot straight away and scored, he's ran another what 30 yards, gone past the defender, crossed, then a goal came. Just **** for the game when you are chalking off good goals because of that 5 seconds earlier.

Slovakian defender saw it and appealed so it'd have been called with or without Snickometer (which doesn't do the debatable "was it deliberate or benefiting from an arm being in an unnatural position?" call)

The handball helped him get the ball into a more favourable position. I don't mind that being disallowed.

It's definitely not a snicko looking for hand contact btw. How would that even work? Snickometer is sound-based - you're never picking that up with ball to hand in a match with 50,000 people screaming

What's a snickometer?

used in cricket to show if the batsman has edged the ball

never thought I'd see it in football :D

Sound-based equipment used to help umpires in cricket determine whether a batsman has hit the ball with the bat. A form of VAR, if you want to see it like that.

Lads, it's official.

We have the first bottling that fits all the parameters!

1. Big favorite.
2. Lost, didn't even manage a draw.
3. Missed a ton of sitters.
4. Players with reputation of underperforming when it matters did just that.
5. Conceded from the first chance.

6. Conceded due to ridiculous playing out the back

Connected ball technology fits the match balls with motion-sensing microchips that tracks every touch of the ball at a rate of 500 times a second. The technology will be used in Germany over the 4-week period, following its success in the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
