Said it before, but our backline, with the exception of Robertson & Tierney, have zero quality on the ball. So passing it around at the back is always dodgy.

Swiss are playing through the press SO easily every time.

I understand why we play this system, and try and pack the back line with numbers (if not quality), but it sacrifices so much in other areas of the pitch.

They used to wipe cards earlier, but then you had a situation where a player could get a booking in both the QF and SF and miss the final. So they started wiping them after the QFs so that it was impossible to miss the final unless you got a straight red.

Dunno why they can’t just wipe them twice. After the groups and then again after the QF.
