  1. I don’t think this helps at all, try uplifting the mood, instead of reducing those who care (not us heathens) to tears and pissing everyone else off.
  2. That’s every day though, don’t need a monarchs death to make that a hammer horror show
  3. I think this will be most peoples viewpoint, yesterday evening, absolutely fair enough, but this morning we are reduced to watching a JCB putting out fencing at Balmoral. There will be moments that should be shown, Charles will make a statement later for instance, but a five minute update each hour, in the normal programming would be fine. At least they’ve unpinned BBC2 so that has gone back to ‘normal’ shows
  4. No he's not, not yet and not automatically. He probably will be but it's a discretionary title bestowed on their first born by the reigning monarch.
  5. I’m gonna hear Nick ****ing Witchell in my sleep tonight. At least Charles hates his guts, so tonight’s probably the end of his career
  6. Golfs off tomorrow as well now. Britain grinding to a halt, and not through train strikes for once
  7. I agree, and there really should be alternatives. Many will want to wallow in it, and there's plenty of places for them to do that, but you should be able to escape it, and Nick Witchell
  8. I was on holiday I remember the midweek stuff was off, because there was literally nothing to do in the resort
  9. I think everything was off for a week iirc, the Sunday and the following weekend
  10. Must admit I understand the BBC have to show the news on every channel (that's not their choice to make) but all the sports channels and web pages is a bit over the top. I understand weekend postponements too, but again, it's a bit over the top, especially this year where fixtures are rammed in anyway
  11. The FA and EFL will feel they have to make a mark of respect. They were all off when Diana died as well
  12. I would think as the crickets off as a mark of respect, Saturdays football will almost certainly follow the trend
