  1. 1) You said in some games youre facing issues...But how many games? If there's 2 or 3 and satisfied the way they play most of the season... Its not so bad... 2) When you're facing these issues, what kind of lineup you're meeting? Park the bus team? Because you play with much higher tempo and decrease it can maybe help you. You ve got only an attack duty to take space (the If),maybe you can test your winger on attack or change your F9 for a Dlfat. It's just theory. Good Luck.
  2. But it depends your players... You want to play with an AP? Why not...But if your AP have 5 on vision and 7 on first touch... Your can try a "classic" midfield too. With a Dmd, Cms and Cma.
  3. Pass and move, i will imagine something like this... For the counter attack... And for the defensive style... But you can also read this... Good luck.
  4. This map is when i used extremly wide width. This map when i used narrow width. That's all.
  5. With standard witdh or less i don't like the way IWB play with the ball. It makes the field too congested in my opinion. But its a feeling. And IWB on def they play too safety. For the Dm on support with hold position, i think a good compromise between a defend and support duty for a Dm. But, but it can leave space behind him mainly when the opposite Gk play long ball behind your defensive line.
  6. It depends how you want to play. Be careful for dictate tempo. If you want to see fast transition it can be counter productive.
  7. Did you try IWB on support each side and DMdef or DMsu ( with hold position). Use witdh on maximum too.
  8. Frankly, great work. It will surely help. But we can understand owls point of view and his frustration. It means that he expected that this book will answer his questions.
  9. Yes...Use wingback. I don't know why but the Cwb are very weird in terms of rating this year. It will be a good idea too if you can return on your fm21 save for compare the personnal instruction. On fm19 the Cwb cross from the byline and not on fm 22. Maybe you should add personnal instruction. It's just an idea.
  10. There's a replication on youtube if people are interested.
  11. I don't want to be ungracious, but theres a lot report on this theme, here and there... You can use google.
  12. It was another way to play the game. Ancient ME. I don't know if it be can sucessful now. About theory (Roo, 5x5, 2-6-2...) But its all right for you to test. Maybe more a FBs next to a CDst and a CDco, next to FBde. A little more conservative. An anchor maybe in DM position... Good Luck.
  13. I think for a 442,that's a great set up. I tried to implent a simple 442 too. The winger on attack have tendency to keep the ball and go to the line before attempt a pass. And it's a waste of time in transition. Maybe you should try a WM on attack. The Fb on attack is little more neutral, especially on balanced. Maybe a positive mentality will help him to take more risk or ,on balanced mentality using a Wingback on attack. Did you try the much less urgent pressing? It will help your team to be more compact especially on a 442. Don't forget that opponents learnt how you play. No more surprise. So you need to adjust your mentality,on positive or even attack mentality when you are favourite. And of course attributes, you need to have very good players on midfield, mentals, physicals. Good Luck.
  14. I think is a good set up... The Wingback is a little too much in a 442 imo. Maybe the WP on support, with behind him, just a Fullback on attack( I noticed that the Fullback on attack is less adventurous than a Wingback on support.) On the left, the Winger on attack, and the Fullback on support( For a more balanced setup). About instructions, its just maybe me but the force opposition outside instruction, I find a little more interesting coupled with the lower defensive line. The more often is the subject, and frankly I dont know what to do. I just won an away game with using less urgent. I think it was the answer, but I lost the game after. With this mentality, and on 442, I won't use counter too. Just hold shape. With this set up, of course. The counter, why not, but I dont think you have enough player for attack space. I think its better to use it with attack duty on each side. I hope you'll find balanced.
  15. About the 442, I can confirm that playing in mid block with standard pressing triggers, is difficult. Not impossible, but complicated. You need ,I think, very good players. Anticipation,Decision,Positionning...
  16. a) I think Balanded is a good mentality. But its very difficult to be confident on what youre doing. Every player, one day , play on positive. On positive you push up the line, you are more "Come on guys"... d) For me pass into space, is using for players with attacking duty. The other players play normally. But it encourage them to play a ball in front the players on attack duty. For b) and c) I cant help you, i'm not good at all for designing tactic.
  17. I don't know if it's possible with a top heavy formation...I read some counter strategy on 4231 but with dms. If i can try something : - Untick prevent gk distribution. (You want to stay more compact) - Lower the defensive line of engagement. (You invite the opponent in your half) - Regroup with a top heavy formation in my mind is necessary. (You will leave too much gap between your wingers and your fullbacks). But i don't know if it can work for you. For me it was not so good but i always have bad teams.
