  1. Norwich City Contracts Various players have the 'trigger contract extension' clause in their contracts despite the fact I can't find any evidence that they do in real life. I'll link either the most recent contract update or the club's transfer announcement. Jordan Hugill - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/jordan-hugill-signs-for-norwich-city Adam Idah - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/adam-idah-signs-new-long-term-contract-at-norwich-city Teemu Pukki (this has an option but was triggered for the 22-23 season) - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/teemu-pukki-signs-new-norwich-city-contract Onel Hernandez - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/onel-hernandez-signs-new-four-year-contract Danel Sinani - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/norwich-city-agree-danel-sinani-deal Todd Cantwell (like Pukki his clause has already been triggered for this season) - https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/canaries-ncfc-teemu-pukki-todd-cantwell-options-8911488 Kieran Dowell - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/norwich-city-swoop-for-england-u21-and-everton-midfielder-kieran-dowell Kenny Mclean - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/kenny-mclean-signs-new-three-year-deal-at-norwich-city Sam Byram - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/sam-byram-joins-norwich-city-on-four-year-deal Max Aarons - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/max-aarons-signs-new-five-year-contract-with-norwich-city Michael McGovern - https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/michael-mcgovern-signs-new-two-year-contract-at-norwich-city Isaac Hayden - His loan has an obligation to buy if 'certain performance criteria are met throughout the season'. I can see why the Norwich scout may have chosen not to not add it as it's not concrete, nor is there a potential fee mentioned. The reason for the clause will be the fact he's been injured a lot recently so I'd suggest having mandatory fee after 25-30 games played or something along those lines. https://www.canaries.co.uk/content/norwich-city-land-isaac-hayden-on-loan Facilities Slightly more opinion based but I think there should be a few bumps to the facilities. Training facilities - These have been upgraded significantly over the last few years and are continuing to be upgraded. I've taken it with a grain of salt but our SD believes we have a top half Premier League level facility. I'd suggest 'excellent' over the current 'great'. I'll post a couple of articles about the ongoing improvements. https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/ncfc-reveal-next-stage-of-training-ground-revamp-8393402 https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/news/local-council/latest-vision-in-norwich-city-colney-revamp-8300682 Colney Training Centre (youth Stadium) - It does have undersoil heating. I'd have to scour through pre season youtube videos but Neil Adams mentioned it to a player he was showing around. Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment - They are both classed as 'adequate' but I believe they are one of the main strengths of the club. In terms of coaching we've produced and polished lot of good young Premier League and EFL level players over the last decade so it should be higher. Recruitment is a little harder to put a number on but I believe it should be higher due to the fact don't have any real competition in the area when it comes to signing young players. I know we have extended our roots down into Suffolk and Essex.
  2. I'm sure he didn't load a large database so the results are to be taken with a grain of salt but it seems the like the AI teams will fluctuate significantly more than in previous games.
  3. I had a fullback control a high ball with the outside of his boot back up into the air, juggle it once and the volley in a cross. So 3 touches without the ball touching the ground. Not sure I've ever seen anything like that in the FM match engine.
  4. Resigned to get some quality time on the beta. After the 2 grand spent in the Norwich club shop I assume she'll be replacing an equally inept Dean Smith.
  5. I think tomorrow is a sound assumption. Whilst this doesn't require Miles at mission control pressing a big red beta release button they probably aren't going to do it whilst he's at a Watford game.
  6. Well if you think about it that way. I always felt the game felt more like a cross between ice hockey and football, without the scraps of course.
  7. 'To get our women’s database right we will have to examine every single in-game attribute and define exactly how we judge the data; attributes such as pace, acceleration and agility will likely stay with the same range, but some attributes may need a different scale. These attributes also feed into our match engine of course, and work done in this area (for example, looking at height of players and how that may affect how they play – such as aiming shots higher if a goalkeeper is smaller) will be of benefit for the match engine overall.' I think this is definitely part of what I wanted to hear. I also really want to see the cowboys in the match engine. Can absolutely see how advancements made here will benefit other aspects of the game. One of my biggest wants for the game is for leagues around the world to feel more authentic in style, tempo and rhythm. This along with improved manager AI (which I assume will be an ongoing project) should/could help that.
  8. I usually keep them fairly vanilla but i change the thresholds a lot depending on what level I'm playing at
  9. On ladies football, I'm really interested to see how SI integrate the stark differences into the match engine. If it actually feels different to watching the men's game then I'll absolutely play it. Also really hope they go pretty deep into the league systems as my local women's team are in the 3rd or 4th tier. Surely they won't do a fifa and just do international - Nobody cares about international management, right SI.
  10. As much as the graphics debate has been fascinating (genuine) I really can't wait for the beta to drop so I can stop seeing it everywhere (for a while)
  11. They've seemingly allowed them to go into pretty good depth on most of the other 'headline' features. The one which is most substantial they block footage of. Might be that it's one they're most heavily tweaking up to beta but still. You'd want to see the 1 real game changing aspect in their not ads.
