My love for French football proved strong enough so i decided to create this file that corrects too many issues that are already in the original database.
This file contains nothing but original database corrections, no team,player,stadium or anything else created.

- I created 2 clubs that were not in the database and due to their football history should be in it imo, them being FC Nancy (not ASNL, which at the late 60s merged with COS Villiers-les-Nancy (existing in the db) and Olympique de Pantin which disolved and after many years a phoenix club created (Olympique de Pantin too but missing from the db).
- Both clubs had either won the Coupe de France or reached the final a couple of times, for the file to be compatible with other files i just found 2 extinct teams in the db which had no history at all and replaced their names (them being GS Nicolin for Olympique de Pantin and ES 3 V 2 for FC Nancy.)
- Added the 1964 and 1965 Coupe de la Ligue editions
- Corrected the history of the following competitions :COUPE DE FRANCE,LIGUE 1, LIGUE 2, NATIONAL, NATIONAL 2, NATIONAL 3, THE OLD DIVISIONS 2+3, THE EXTINCT CFA 2 (NOW NATIONAL 3), COUPE DE LA LIGUE,U19,U17,U18,CHARLES DRAGO,COUPE GAMBARDELLA,CHAMPIONNAT RESERVES PRO,CHALLENGE DES CHAMPIONS,TROPHEE DES CHAMPIONS.
- CORRECTED FEW NAMES OF TEAMS AS IN REALITY (EG. FC AURILLAC ARPAJON - FC AURILLAC, RACING CLUB DE FRANCE FOOTBALL COLOMBES 92 - RACING CLUB DE FRANCE FOOTBALL, FC LIMONEST-SAINT DIDIER - FC LIMONEST-DARDILLY-SAINT DIDIER etch.)
- Made several connections from extinct teams with teams that are their successors nowadays (EG. EXCELSIOR ROUBAIX - SCO ROUBAIX 59, EVIAN TG -THONON EVIAN GRAND GENEVE etch.)
- Activated 7 teams from being wrongly set as extinct (1.AVIGNON FOOT 84 (CHANGED THE NAME AS IT IS TODAY ''AVENIR CLUB AVIGNONNAIS'', CA PARIS-CHARENTON (CHANGED THE NAME AS CHARENTON WAS MISSING AND SHORT NAME WAS CASG PARIS (THAT'S A DIFFERENT EXTINCT TEAM), BASTIDIENNE BORDEAUX, RACING JOINVILLE (REMOVED THE ''PARIS'' WORD), ESPOIR BASTIA, GOUSSANVILLE AND ANTONY SPORTS. All of them became active, placed in the Division Inferieure (lower league) and regional divisions for N1,N2,N3 and U19 was set upon the region each one of them belongs.

I am about to release my file with the correct history fix for France.

You could always try merging them yeah, and see what happens! Just make sure to back-up your files first
Alternatively, try selecting them both at the same time - run the game, and explore/investigate to see if there are any clashesThe file i am working to make the changes is from the original database! only history changes planned, the other file is a cumstom lower league db, the latter you said is what i thought too, but i dont know if my file overwrites the history of the custom league db (as i am aware that db only opens league in the db, not history changes etch). Anyway thanks for your reply as soon as i finish this i will see what has been done!

Hey @Rob 396 nice file! I am working also now on a French competition history fix (too many issues found in the original db). Of course i am not a guru on editor but i know how to fix and save my file.
Question is since you work on a bigger project than mine, i want to use my file along with a custom french lower league database. Is it going to work? If yes how should i do it? Select both files before new game and the fixed history will show up or should i merge them together? any thoughts?

I want to edit competition history for France, cause i've spotted a lot of mistakes in coupe de France mainly.
I know the way to do it but my question is this:
Since i make and save the changes on the original database, how can i use it after along with a custom french lower league database?
Should i choose to run both files separately before starting a new save?
Should i merge both files through editor? If this is possible, what are the steps i have to follow?
Any answers from the editors guru are welcomed

Hi there community, i have a question in which i need help.
I am using a custom French league database which goes down to level 8 in fm21.
I want to make the following change in the editor as in reality, there are 2 clubs in National 2 (LEVEL 4) from the same city (Bourges) Bourges Foot and Bourges 18 respectively. Both teams made a fusion this summer so now there is one team there that goes by the name Bourges Foot 18. I will keep Bourges 18 in game (as a more historical club of the 2) and change its name to Bourges Foot 18, and right after i will fill the gaps from level 4 till level 8 with teams as in reality.
My question is since i will make Bourges Foot extinct and Bourges Foot 18 as its successor, is there any trick to move all players to the new club? Can anyone share a trick how to make it correct?

Not a big deal but i guess i have to inform that.
I am checking for french logos these days as i contribute to a website. Using the FFF website and a french custom database that goes deep till level 8 (not a single team or player created though) to see what is missing or what is in need of update i found something strange on the Regional 3 division in Paris - ile-de-France region. Indeed there is a team that plays in one of the 4 groups (also in 20-21 and 21-22 too) called Racing Club Argenteuil. Strange is that in the custom (and original too) database there is a team called Football Club Argenteuil. I searched through FFF and i found that they are different teams. RC althought is in higher level than FC is not present in the database while FC is in and it seems that this year will not have a senior team in any division (FFF says it plays in a Coupe du Matin championship).
I guess the creators noticed that but they used FC instead of RC in that specific group for ease.
Anyway it's not a big deal but maybe RC could be present in the upcoming 22 version of FM. below some screenshots i provide.

I'm not a creator myself but what i know if there are two lower leagues for example with the same id then the game chooses the one with the bigger reputation and at some point i guess it will crash... I really like your idea though! I always imagined how great it would be to combine some great real life structures from different countries all together but it seems 1) impossible 2) to achieve that i guess all these creators somehow should combine their edit powers and create one db together (e.g meistertrainerforum (germany) manageronline(france) fmsite(spain) fmportugal (Portugal) danfromSI(england) fmfusion(italy) xavierlukhas(netherlands) fmgreece(greece) and so go on...)

if i am not mistaken @krlenjushka makes a serbian but not yogoslavian (thats what i guess you look for)
That guy i dont want to say his name that steals others work does create a yugoslavian and ussr files but i wouldn't reccomend them just because he has no respect for others. I hope you understand for whom i talk

Hopefully this will be to the satisfaction of anyone looking to play in the Spanish lower leagues. In the off chance that anyone finds good French and Italian lower league databases, please share in here. I haven't been able to find any in the downloads forum.

Last year i read somewhere (can't find the article though now) that PSG took the decision and reached an aggreement with FFF (regarding its B'team that plays in N3 group IDF) that can't promoted to N2 even if it finishes 1st. I dont know if is indeed true but maybe the french speaking people may sort it out!

Nice work!!!!! Are the promotions/relegations work correctly in the lower regional divisions year by year? Is a common problem on lower league patches! Just asking though no intention to judge if it occurs here too!

they release every year a lower league patch! is the best around the internet by far!! Not yet but im pretty sure they will have it available soon

Probably... Im not a creator myself i just suggest you...what if you checke their db file in your editor and maybe understand how they do it....i guess

Thanks mate! I've post the coupe de france history issues 3 years in row...nothing changed .. it's a pitty cause it's a big and famous country and the world cup holders too.
