If there is a way to identify how that number is being generated and displayed then yes, i think.

I'm running into some issues where if I play with a larger DB, one or more of the new Club Vision rules I put into effect disappears. Pretty sure it's tied to the size of the database and number of people in it, but I have to figure out what the threshold is.

So here's Bilbao's Club Vision when you start a save:
Open the editor, edit Bilbao, remove all the board members, save the file, start a new save with the new Bilbao file and you get this:
So the Club vision is tied into the board somehow. In order to prevent any 'under the hood' issues, I created new people with similar names, birthdates that were close but not the same, added them into the board roles, and the club still loaded with a clean vision.
I went back and added a couple of visions, and for Bilbao at least it appears adding any sort of additional club vision rule even after removing the board triggers the "Cannot Sign Non Basque Players" rule.
So if you want to play Bilbao without restrictions, just remove the board members. Any additional Club visions will have to be self imposed...
I'll do some more experimenting when I have the opportunity.

And I figured it out, it was hardcoded to the Director of the club. If I don't add him, there's no coded club vision rules. With him, there are...and it only took two hours to figure that out....sigh

Well, for some reason that did not work.
I deleted the club from the league, created a new club with a different name in it's place, but added all the coaches and players to it, and for some reason when I loaded up the datbase change into my test game, all the original Club Vision Rules for the club were still there. They are hard coded to something, but I am not sure what.

So the only way around that would be to create a club in Bilbaos place, call it something different, and then recreate everything except the club vision?

Hi,
Some Club's like Athletic Bilbao have a Club Vision/Culture rule that they "Cannot Sign non-Basque" players.
When I look at Bilbao in the editor, I do not see an option to remove that?
Is that hardcoded somehow?

I'm working on modifying the spreadsheet I used in my FM19 save with Bastia for my next save in FM21.
The danger is getting to much into the weeds with the spreadsheet and forgetting to play the game...

I saw a video recently with Xavi Hernandez talking about the tactics he used at Al-Sadd (and presumably Barcelona going forward), where he talked about using a 3-4-3 consisting of 3 defenders, 2 DM's, 2 Inside midfielders, a number 9 and 2 wide attackers.
For some reason I thought of something like this:
Because when I hear 'Inside Midfielders' I think of the two in the center of the field.
Or did I have too much caffeine today?

Then I use notepad+, 1 tab with a copy of the original panel, and the other with the one I'm working on. Hi,
I'd like to start experimenting with a couple of panels, in particular changing the fonts on them.
In looking at the font's folder, i see the ttf file of the font, then a ton of fontxml files, which makes me think that if font ABC123 is the one in the folder, all the fontxml files are referencing it.
If true, does that mean if I want to use font xyz987 I have to add that file to the font folder, then edit every fontxml file to replace the font name? Or is there a faster way I am missing?

1000 Years into the Future!!! Well, 830, because the save broke, but still!

Hello,
So, last year I simmed out 1000 years in FM 21. Took me two laptops and a few months, I posted about it here on reddit and it was pretty popular, JDFM did a video on it, and I thought I would do it again this year.
The first attempt I was way to optimistic, I loaded 16 nations, created a coach, and went on the eternal vacation.
The game started to crash in the 220's, which I expected, just not that early.
Then it crashed hard in the 2300's. And by crashing hard I mean when trying to load the save the game crashed back to the desktop.
So, back the drawing board. This time 12 countries. The game started to crash in the late 2300's, no problem. Mid 2400's, hard crash. So I looked at the countries I had loaded, to see who the culprit might be.
England? No.
France? Non.
Germany? Unsere Fußball-Liga-Struktur ist der Inbegriff deutscher Präzision und Perfektion, schau woanders hin, du Idiot!
America? Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner, because I am pretty sure not even the MLS knows the ins and outs of its own rules are, and 400 plus years into a save I think the game broke itself trying to figure it out as well...
So I started again with 8 countries. England, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Belgium.
Yes, I forgot Spain. Sorry.
In the 2500's the game started crashing again. This was not unexpected, because at some point the video card starts throwing an error that causes the game to crash every 8-12 years, 10 being average. So I loaded the last save, renamed it, and started simming again. In the mid 2600's, it crashed. This time with a 'The computer is out of memory' error, which I thought odd, because my laptop has 32GB of Ram.
So I moved the game to my PC, and simmed it when I wasn't playing it. I wasn't to sure about the whole RAM issue so I looked at my task manager one day, and it said FM was using 16% of my memory, and I thought "Jellico, that’s not too bad..."
The I realized in my PC i have 128GB of Ram, and 16% of that is 20GB. And that’s not including what the computer uses for its own background processes...
Anyhow, the game ran well until the 2800's. Then it started crashing again. And the later it got, the shorter time frame between crashes. And in 2854, You can load the game, but it crashes the day after you try simming it. At least it did for me.
So, 2852 being a nice number, I asked JD, who did such a great job with last years video, if he wanted to do it again this year, he said "Yes, me and my mates at the Managers Seat would be willing to help out" and I sent them the save file, and a week later he tell me they were chatting with Zealand about something unrelated and mentioned the save and Zealand said something to the effect of (and I am paraphrasing here, apologies if this is wrong Z) "I'd love to help with a video on that." And a couple of discord chats and a recording session later, we were done, and Z’s editors did their usual bang up job in editing.

Some notes, last years save was 6 countries at 1000 years. That Dbase was smaller than this years version of 8 countries at 830 years. It will load, you can search, but some things like transfer windows and the like will take awhile to load.
Bigger Countries that are playable will have a lost more diversity in results. Thats why Spain has been dominated by two teams, it was not playable. Smaller countries seem to have a diversity of results despite not being playable and I am not sure why...
And yes, I will do this again next year.
Any questions, ask here or on the YT video, and I'll answer when I can.
Next year the plan is 10 countries, the big six, and 4 others, like Netherlands, Turkey, Egypt and South Korea. Just to see.
