  1. So here's Bilbao's Club Vision when you start a save:

Open the editor, edit Bilbao, remove all the board members, save the file, start a new save with the new Bilbao file and you get this:

So the Club vision is tied into the board somehow.  In order to prevent any 'under the hood' issues, I created new people with similar names, birthdates that were close but not the same, added them into the board roles, and the club still loaded with a clean vision.

I went back and added a couple of visions, and for Bilbao at least it appears adding any sort of additional club vision rule even after removing the board triggers the "Cannot Sign Non Basque Players" rule.

So if you want to play Bilbao without restrictions, just remove the board members.  Any additional Club visions will have to be self imposed...

I'll do some more experimenting when I have the opportunity.

  2. Well, for some reason that did not work.

I deleted the club from the league, created a new club with a different name in it's place, but added all the coaches and players to it, and for some reason when I loaded up the datbase change into my test game, all the original Club Vision Rules for the club were still there.  They are hard coded to something, but I am not sure what.

I’m always a sucker for a good spreadsheet. I’d love to see what you’ve done if you’d be willing to share with us.

Link to the spreadsheet, but its still set up for 2019 wages and the like:  https://www.mediafire.com/file/x9oa5yb8xcu4aeb/Spreadsheet.rar/file

When I do gewt around to updating the spreadsheet for my next save I'll start a new thread.

    Thanks!

  4. I saw a video recently with Xavi Hernandez talking about the tactics he used at Al-Sadd (and presumably Barcelona going forward), where he talked about using a 3-4-3 consisting of 3 defenders, 2 DM's, 2 Inside midfielders, a number 9 and 2 wide attackers.

For some reason I thought of something like this:

Because when I hear 'Inside Midfielders' I think of the two in the center of the field.

Or did I have too much caffeine today?

Don't know if it's any use, and I'm sure everyone takes a different approach, but I used a free trial on balsamiq to help plan layouts.  Then I use notepad+, 1 tab with a copy of the original panel, and the other with the one I'm working on.  Delete pretty much everything, and work on the layout first - so the first step for me might be to just get the page to be a big column with 3 rows/boxes on the left, and a smaller column with 2 rows/boxes on the right with absolutely nothing inside of them.  Then, basically copy across each element I want into the relevant box, and once that's done start focussing on the smaller details (spacing, dividers, resizing, etc...).  Finally, once it's all done and I'm happy with it, I stumble across something in here which gives me another idea and I start all over again.

    Repeat ad infinitum.

Is there a tutorial for this somewhere, I am more of a visual learner myself and am having way too many PBKAc errors lately....thanks.

    Hi Olas,

What additional files have you downloaded to use for the city and stadium pics, the xml works great, I just have generic pics in mine.

  7. Hi,

I'd like to start experimenting with a couple of panels, in particular changing the fonts on them.

In looking at the font's folder, i see the ttf file of the font, then a ton of fontxml files, which makes me think that if font ABC123 is the one in the folder, all the fontxml files are referencing it.

If true, does that mean if I want to use font xyz987 I have to add that file to the font folder, then edit every fontxml file to replace the font name?  Or is there a faster way I am missing?

    Appreciate the help!
