Of course that's like a CL victory to us. The Earl is 69 years old and still aging. We had a terrible start in the league with 5 losses in 8 games and the Earl was like "omg another 20 years .." But then he made some tactical changes and the Blue Armada took course on League Two only losing once more on 12-11-50 against now 2nd placed Bristol Rovers. "We were unbeatable" but still League Two was at far distance, with Bristol Rovers leading the table 10 points ahead. The Earl hast lost every single Play Off match in his long career which made him feel that only 1st places are promotion places. But against all odds and all critics Ricay came closer and closer and taking 1st place over around February. The Earl was clever he decided to give his players even crazier nicknames with not only marking their year of youth intake but also giving away ! for consistent players or !! for big match players and on the contrary ' for inconsistent and " for dreaded big games. Now it was clear who to play the matches to stay ahead of the Bristol Pirates. It was Millie Potter with three !!! who turned close games into draws and victories and scored a hattrick in the one deciding match against Guisley @Cultured Left Foot which secured the title in VN for our Ricay Sailors. Three !!! means Thrives in Big Matches oh Millie Potter he's not our best but he scores when we need it most. Thank you mate it's your moment. !!! @benrollo I like the personalities graph. "The blue armada is moving in the right direction" Earl of Grey January is finished and we managed to gather 5 points on leading Bristol Rovers which has been 10 points in December. We beating every team and the players are in top form. Employer of the month has been Iwan Jones who won youth player of the month award. He is getting a good amount of game time and is paying off with goals from either IF(S) or AF in our 4231 DM shape. Another stand out player at the moment is David Ebuka from Nigeria. We didn't come to terms in a new contract but he's playing brilliantly regardless. As we also focus on developing good staff. Here is our long term servant Jem Hewlett who's been with us since 2040 and has developed clearly well. He's a loyal man and rejected every offer from higher established clubs. Future is blue!

I have a very similar formation with similar roles in my Billericay YAC save. I also play a DM(D) with a Volante(S) and love the role but it all looks more solid with DM(D) DM(S) pairing. I’d say if you want the IWB to take the place besides the DM he needs to be on (D) duty otherwise he will play similar to the Volante and you already got one. The front four looks good to me. Maybe the Volante needs either a very strong team with a high press or 3ATB for cover. I‘ll try to emulate Volante play with the arives late or get forward ppm and a DM(S) role.

Our first "big" transfer out. Abel Moore is one of our biggest prospects. He is from Jamaica just like the next best transfer out for 40k. Initially the offer was like 3.5k but we were tough to negotiate.

We were leading the league until the Rochdale game (which was match number 44) but Cycle of Doom hit us in February and we can't turn things around. Missing penalties, losing despite haven xG of 2 and higher and losing points. We were sure to win the league, we were leading with a lot of points. There's nothing you can do but smile while it's kicking your balls. The Earl is not very optimistic about winning any play off game, the players just can't play anymore ... We lost first round with style dominating the complete game but losing 0:4 to Maidenhead, of course. The Cycle of Doom would not have been complete without that match. It's a stupid game ... sometimes ... "Why?" Earl of Grey "The season was great but in the end we're all disappointed. Why?" At least we're all working towards making good progress. The Earl seems a bit impatient, maybe it's due to his age, he is 68 now. He started as a young 41 years old.

My DM are good players in my opinion, teamwork, tackling, bravery and passing, it’s all there. But still they‘re two star players. What kind of player are you looking for a DM(S/D) and DLP(S) pairing?

"Sing when you're winning." Earl of Grey Guess we're not here for another lifetime, League two is waiting for us. Youth intake preview wasn't satisfying, I hope the intake will be. We're in need of a good HOYD. We're struggling there since Spirited Mr White left us. Professional status How much money should be in the bank to realize that? We're 1.6 Millions and still it's refused. Should I spend the money on training facilities or wait and save?

@Johnny Ace how would you implement an AP in a 4231? What are your first thoughts regarding the AP role?

Thanks man. You‘re the 12th man The Earl now is at least a Clubs favourite personell after that promotion. This year went strong. From the beginning we were competing for promotion spots until March. when the season drew longer and longer in spring we lost pace and games. our defenders played through, against the advice of the physiotherapists, but the Earl had the same difficulties as before and did the same mistakes, he waited too long to switch formation and was merely betting on playing it through and having more game luck. In the end the change of formation turned things around for a solid finish.
