  1. CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2025/2026 CLUB: PROFILE | FACILITIES | HONOURS | BOARD VISION | SUPPORTERS | FINANCES MANAGER: CHARACTERISTICS | ATTRIBUTES Liga BBVA MX Apertura Improvement in regards to table position in the Apertura. Rough last three games! However, we just can't make it out of the preliminary round. This is the second year in a row in which we lost in the preliminary round and to penalties. Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League We finished out the group undefeated. We are facing Liga Deportiva Alajuelense from Costa Rica. Youth Intake Another excellent intake. We will see. At least, I'm getting more players for positions I need backup for. Miscellaneous New contracts for Jordi Rocha 23C and Guillermo Valdéz 24A. New contract and training facilities have been upgraded. Nothing materialized from the club takeover.
  2. CDS Tampico Madero - Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League - 2025/2026 We've done it and beat LA Galaxy (11th in the MLS Western Conference). We've qualified for the second round of Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League!!! One game left in the group stages and it's against Houston Dynamo FC (14th in the MLS Western Conference). I will be playing continental football during Liga BBVA MX Clausura.
  3. Does anybody have a tutorial on how to make nicknames using a LNC file? @XaW
  4. How would the US be playable? There is no pro/rel to MLS. EDIT: Only one viable in North America is Mexico.
  5. CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2025/2026 CLUB: PROFILE | FACILITIES | HONOURS | BOARD VISION | SUPPORTERS | FINANCES MANAGER: CHARACTERISTICS | ATTRIBUTES Liga BBVA MX Apertura Right now, we are hanging around eighth which is our favorite spot on the table as of last season. Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League and Leagues Cup We got knocked out of the Leagues Cup by the Chicago Fire FC in the Quarter Finals. It was a close affair, to be honest. But my team just couldn't hang on this two games per week schedule. NEED MORE REGENS TO FIX THIS! Well, I've only played one game of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. I beat what I envisioned as my toughest opponent which is Club de Fútbol América. It is possible that I can make it out of this group onto the second round. Miscellaneous Vultures, I mean other Liga BBVA MX clubs, are trying to get him. I have an automatic reject all transfers for Armando Cordero 23B. Jordi Rocha 23C is now a FIFA U20 World Cup Winner with Mexico. I'm in awe of his development. I think it all comes down to his personality. Theorycrafting I think playing your youngsters are having a bigger effect on their development than training this season. I regularly praise and criticize my youngsters for their training. I have yet to praise or criticize my U18s who are in my first team. The ones that have gained a lot of attribute points are the ones that I'm playing regularly.
  6. Nothing to worry about! I like it that more people are playing in North America aka Mexico in terms of this challenge.
  7. I went on a trip this past weekend to some state parks to hike. I wonder if this is a good or bad change.
  8. What was their personality? Did you put them in a mentoring group? EDIT: I see it's an Unambitious.
  9. By 4.5/5 star youths, you mean their potential ability right? I think that depending on what your HOYD's JPA or JPP those stars could possibly be wrong. Earlier on in the game, your HOYD could have horrid JPA and JPP attributes. Then later down the line after their initial contract you find a better HOYD that youth player could have a different rating. If they are 2 stars in terms of current ability, I have them starting or on the bench. I've posted about one of my players here, Jordi Rocha 23C, he wasn't even 2 stars in current ability and I don't think he was 5 stars in potential ability when I threw him onto the main team. Now, Jordi Rocha 23C is 4 stars in current ability with 5 stars with the final star a white one. At the beginning of my save, Jordi Rocha 23C in 2023. Current status of Jordi Rocha 23C in 2025. As of this current save with Tampico Madero, I've kept all 16 players that is available per youth intake that you can get. I have 38 players that have come through my youth intake. I only have nine players left from the original squad when I took over. I'm currently phasing out Balanced personalities with low determination.
  10. If you want fantasy SS kits for your team, hit me up. I'll make it for you.
  11. I have not sent any players out on loan. I also don't have a B team and will elect not to have one till I have gone through more youth intakes. Right now, my youth intake is meant to replace my aging real players wherever possible. Also, I try to limit the amount of players on my team, 44 total. My main team will have a starting XI and then backup XI and same with my U20s. I'm not there yet. It's just a lot to micromanage if you have to many players. It makes me want to wish for a select all praise all these players for training well or criticize them.
  12. @JAwtunesI might have to join the infographic gang soon!
  13. I downloaded templates from sortitoutsi.net for SS kits. Then I used Photopea (GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO PHOTOSHOP) to edit the PSD because I swap between a Linux and Windows machine. I googled for HQ versions of the sponsor logos. I'm leaning towards using design #2.
  14. Looking for some opinions as to what my jersey design for my 2025/2026 season should be: Design #1 Design #2 For Design #2 for the one that is blue and white stripes, black cuffs and collar or blue cuffs and collar? Also found out that OXXO is owned by a Mexican conglomerate (FEMSA) that had more companies so used them for jersey and additional sponsors on the jersey. Fun fact in real life, they own C.F. Monterrey.
  15. I don't think that sends the scout out though. It's just the person who provides the scout's work to the manager.
  16. You are now a ghost. I see your shadow in that step and repeat.
  17. I actually don't know. I think it's time to ask @XaW and @darren1983. To complete the challenge in Mexico, do we need to win both Apertura and Clausura for Liga MX and win CONCACAF Champions League? Or an alternative for a League Cup would be Leagues Cup?
  18. CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2024/2025 CLUB: PROFILE | FACILITIES | HONOURS | BOARD VISION | SUPPORTERS | FINANCES MANAGER: CHARACTERISTICS | ATTRIBUTES Liga BBVA MX Clausura First season in Liga BBVA MX is done. We finished the Liga BBVA MX Clausura at 8th on 25 points. Improvement from Apertura in which we finished 8th on 24 points. Once again, we get bounced in the preliminary round of playoffs. Due to finishing 8th in Liga BBVA MX Clausura, we are now in the first round of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. CONTINENTAL COMPETITION, BABY! Youth Academy Youth Intake The future is bright. I'm getting reinforcements. God bless my HOYD. There are so many gems on this intake such as Daniel de Hita Sánchez 25A, Francisco Hernández 25B, Iván Treviño 25C, and Pedro Cisneros 25D. Congrats to Jordi Rocha 23C (Runner-Up) and Guillermo Valdéz 24A (3rd place) to making it into the Top 3 of NxGn 2025. As for these two, they keep getting call-ups into the Mexican National Team (U20s / U23s). Miscellaneous I'm hyped for a new stadium. Not sure when it will arrive but I'm ready. Our training facilities downgraded and it's now being upgraded.
  19. Next time, anybody gets an upgrade to either: Training Facility Youth Facility Junior Coaching Youth Recruitment Network Can you check if you are actually getting deducted for these upgrades in your expenditures tab in finances? Post screenshots.
  20. CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2024/2025 CLUB: PROFILE | FACILITIES | HONOURS | BOARD VISION | SUPPORTERS | FINANCES MANAGER: CHARACTERISTICS | ATTRIBUTES Liga BBVA MX Apertura 8th in our first season up in Liga BBVA MX. I'll take it. There are two games that we should've won when we had the goal lead which is the Chivas and Pachuca games. Pachuca won the Liga BBVA MX Apertura over Monterrey. Youth Academy Youth Intake Preview Another excellent intake. We will see to be honest. Jordi Rocha 23C He is only 17 years old. He is now 3.5 stars as a BWM but I don't play him as that. 2.5 stars as a Segunda Volante and a 1 star as a Regista. My coaches keep complaining that he needs to improve his heading, do I really need to? Guillermo Valdéz 24A He's only 16 years old. He managed to raise his Determination by 2 points since his arrival in the club. He has been called up to Mexico U-20s and U-23s. His first international trophy is the CONCACAF Under-20 Championship 2024. He is now my main goalkeeper now as my aging goalkeeper got mad when I fined him. Miscellaneous New contract acquired after other Liga BBVA MX clubs kept asking me to interview. Since that contract renewal, they finally allowed me to get my National C License, improve our youth recruitment network (Fairly Basic -> Average), and improve the junior coaching (Adequate -> Good). For others that have gotten upgrades, have you seen it hit your finances? I'm looking at my finances and don't see any expenditures in regards to the youth recruitment network and junior coaching upgrades.
  21. All this talk about a player being loaned back after being bought, I am tempted to end my Tampico Madero save. I forgot that I wasn't suppose to play the player after they are loaned back. AHHHHHHHHHHHH! No. I don't have it set to 0 because I use my scouts to scout the opposition. Right now, I have two in which their priority is to scout opposition.
  22. CDS Tampico Madero - Liga BBVA MX - 2024/2025 Youth Academy Assessment There are now 22 Youth Products in the club. Where are they from? I learned new things about Tampico. It's by the Gulf of Mexico. The current iteration of the club is a phoenix club of sorts and the old one is now Club Atlético La Paz. Miscellaneous More money. Maybe, I can get upgrades for the club now?!
